This are the photos of the day we chose our material and what was to be purchased / tagged
    Janel C.

Where do I begin? I will just jump to the point. We went to Ollin, met with Bryan - chose our slabs - Bryan said he would tag them and get them ready. We chose all the same material for our main house kitchen counters, our guest house kitchen counters, and our office. We have just finished installing them and they are ALL DIFFERENT. I mean not the samples we looked at, not what were supposed to be tagged. Completely different color, pattern, etc... not only are the different from what we chose, but they are different from each other! This has been our 5th remodel and we have never had an experience like this. Another note worth mentioning... my husband went to Ollin during this process about delivery, etc... had some questions - Bryan came out to meet him (after not returning calls) and referred to him as "Mr. Problem". My husband is very professional, and refrained from confronting him about it. I was blown away. The fact that this guy in his little zip up sweater had the audacity to address a customer this way was crazy. I would recommend steering clear of this place unless you want to have to supervise the entire process from pick up to delivery to make sure they don't dupe you on the material. No ones wants to deal with that. FYI: Read their other reviews - most mention "different than the samples". We should have looked at yelp before going there. Next stop: BBB, social media outlets, etc. Check out the photos.

The showroom was small, and not a lot of choices. They did not have what we were looking for. However, I can't hold that against them. Whatever they did had, was absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, when we walked in, no one approached us. We walked around the whole area, there were a few people there, and I believe they were helping other customers. BUT, if it was my store, or if I worked there, I would at least say hello and tell them I would be with them shortly. So that way, the customer won't feel neglected or ignored.

Went here to pick slabs for our center island. The guy who helped us, Esau, was super attentive and helpful. He let us know the pluses and negatives of each stone. He never rushed us and helped us pick a beautiful slab. We had been to Arizona tile before and they had stones of poor quality and the staff wasn't quite as helpful. Definitely recommend this place for your home remodel!

When it came time to pick my countertop material I wasn't sure where to go. I visited Ollin and a few other showrooms that I'd found on Yelp. The staff here was very friendly and I ended up being assisted by Maggie. She was extremely knowledgable about every material that I asked about and provided a couple of samples so that I could think over my decision. Her helpfulness is why I decided to buy my slab from Ollin Stone. I went with a Taj Mahal Quartzite and couldn't be happier with it.

Brian and Esau at Ollin take great care of their (only wholesale) customers. The yard is huge, and whether you're looking for marble, granite, or quartzite, this spot has some of what you see everywhere along with some stunning rare Brazilian stone you can rarely find elsewhere. Lovely customer service, kind of the luxury stone importer. We're super happy with them.

And I knew I was gonna need a digital scale to help me through my sourdough journey now that I was gifted two sourdough starters--one from Italy and one from France (one of my clients was very giving & thoughtful). The price is range from $40-$85., whoa! Amazon has them for about $30. I will have to think about this.. Met Gonzo, yes, that's how he spelled it, a delightful & enlightened staff member who was very helpful with recommending which would be best. We could've had a whole conversation for a half a day! LoL. In the end, I decided to think about it before purchasing one (turns out later, best decision I made all day) My glass measuring cup is in storage & I find it cumbersome so I bought a lighter version (2 cup). Happy with my purchase. Hubby bought his item separately & let me roam the aisles. Highly recommend this store. Woo-hoo! I had been wanting stainless steel kitchen scissors, but I refuse to pay the $20 price I had been seeing in the chain stores. I found a great pair here for less than half that price. The kind that allows you to separate the blades to ensure a thorough washing so there won't be any food bacteria buildup between the blades. I even found, and purchased, some small glass soft boiled egg holders. Who sells those anymore? They each have a removable silicone collar for easy washing. A small detail, but appreciated. I had to walk through the aisles twice to make sure I didn't miss anything because there were so many items to see. And if you can't find what you're looking for, just ask the owners for help. They will be more than happy to help you. So, I found a good selection, fair reasonable pricing, offered by a couple of very fine people. I got what I needed and I supported a local merchant. I'd say that was a win-win.

Subject: Ongoing Quality Issue with La Chapalita Tortillas…read moreHello, I am a loyal customer and business owner of Birriería Castellanos Taquizas Events, and I have been purchasing products from your store for over 4 years. I regularly buy La Chapalita tortillas from your location at 1265 N Kraemer Blvd, Anaheim. I'm reaching out because over the past 4 weeks, I've noticed a consistent decline in the quality of these tortillas. They are coming out hard and stiff, not soft and flexible like they used to be. When heated, they no longer have the same texture, which directly affects the quality of the tacos we serve to our customers. This is a serious concern for my business, as my customers have already started noticing the difference. I've continued buying from your store hoping the issue would improve, but unfortunately, it has remained the same. I would like to know: If you are aware of this issue If there has been any change in product handling, storage, or supplier batches And most importantly, if this problem will be resolved soon I value your store and prefer to continue buying from you, but I need consistency and quality to maintain my business standards. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Javier Birriería Castellanos Taquizas Events
