Was here recently on a bitterly cold night with a check engine light. The clerk patiently waited…read morefor the code to read and then pulled the parts I needed to get it fixed. Always come right to any Autozone whenever the check engine light comes on because I know I'll get taken care of just like this.

1 Star (only because I had to--otherwise it would be 0 stars.)…read more I called this AutoZone right after they opened because I needed several parts for my car. Since I live almost an hour and a half away, I wanted to make sure they had everything in stock and asked if they could put the parts on hold for me. The employee who answered confirmed they had everything I needed, took my information, and assured me the parts would be waiting for me. After driving nearly 90 minutes to the store, I was told the parts had never been pulled or set aside. Because they weren't actually placed on hold, another employee sold or transferred them to another store for a different customer. The manager looked in the computer and confirmed that the hold was entered under my name, but explained that the new employee never physically pulled the parts. While trying to locate the parts at other stores, he spent more time complaining about his new employees than helping me. At one point he said, "And this is exactly fucking why I don't want people doing this fucking hold shit." That comment was completely unprofessional. Instead of taking responsibility for his team's mistake, he acted irritated that he had to deal with it and made me feel like I was the problem. I understand mistakes happen, especially with new employees, but a manager's job is to handle those situations professionally--not curse in front of customers and complain about their staff. I wasted nearly three hours driving because of a mistake that wasn't mine, and the manager's attitude made an already frustrating situation even worse. I will never return to this location. If this is how management treats customers when the store makes an error, there is a serious problem with customer service.
