My trailer lights from the truck wasn't working and I brought this up every time I had brought my truck in to the dealership for my free oil change. Nothing ever documented or done about it. Granted... A few times were my issue since I couldn't leave it there due to needing the truck. The last time I was there I had a conversation with Amanda (who is super rude and confrontational) that stated that "since I didn't have an extended warranty there would be a 250 diagnostics fee". I said I don't want to pay for that since I have had this issue since I bought it. So evidently it was cancelled by her which also was not told to me that they were not going to address it again. I was contacted by the dealership after I got my truck back asking for feedback and I gave them my feedback. Then I get a call from Adam and because Amanda never documented the issue I had (trailer light) since I bought the truck. I was told that I was wrong and inferred that I wasn't being truthful. This is probably an easy fix but they would rather collect their fee then admit to not being right. I am in the market to trade this truck off now and I will be going with a different Ram dealership! Learn to get some customer service! Everyone beware! Look at the reviews on this dealership! Mostly buying experience great but service dept sucks! I thought at first I might have been over reacting or even questioning my own memory. No... they just suck! Adam the one that responds to these reviews is the one that actually called me out for not being truthful! Absolutely ridiculous. The upper management team needs to read some of these reviews and analyze the people they have in their service department!

Matthew asked if I was interested in ordering a RT Durango, and I advised him I'd like some info about it. I wanted available colors/packages/pricing/etc. He advised me that he'd put some info together and forward to Nate to forward to me. No offer to help me while I was there. I went home. The next day, my wife and I went to Russ Darrow Dodge and had the opposite experience. Extremely helpful and friendly. We left there feeling like a valued customer. Meanwhile, Thu/Fri/Sat/Mon all passed without any contact from Van Horn. Monday morning (Apr 20) my wife/I went back to Russ Darrow and worked out a purchase. Our 2026 Dodge Durango RT 392 was ordered. Monday afternoon, I received an email from Myhra (sp?) about my experience at Van Horn and I sent her my thoughts. Late Tuesday, I missed a call from Spencer S, asking if I'd be willing to share my experience with him. I returned his call, left a message saying I would be willing to do that and hung up. NEVER heard back from him/Myhra/Nate/Matthew. With that, I will not follow up with them. While I can't recommend Van Horn, I can happily recommend Russ Darrow Dodge.

TL;DR: I bought a Yukon Denali Ultimate at full asking price plus fees, zero negotiation. I was approved, provided proof of identity/financing, and was treated like I was scamming them. If you're out of state, DO NOT BUY here. It took almost 3 months to get my plates and registration. I knew the market, liked the price, and was ready to buy. No negotiating, no hassle. You'd think that would be easy. Instead, after I was approved on the 11th, it took two full days just to review my documents and let me sign. I kept being told the business manager was busy with other customers. I'm approved, paying asking price, and trying to finish the deal -- am I not also a customer? When I signed, I requested one simple thing: please detail the vehicle before delivery. It was a surprise for my dad, and I wanted it clean. They also said they would not pay to ship it. Fine, I would pay. Their listings advertise "DELIVERING TO ALL 50 STATES!" in big red letters, so I assumed they had a shipping process. Instead, after financing was done, I was told this location doesn't ship cars and was given a random dispatch website. So I found and paid for transport myself. They said the vehicle couldn't be released until the bank funded the deal. Totally normal. But by February 18th, a week after approval, they needed more paperwork. I had signed documents 3 times on 3 separate days. How do they not know what needs to be signed? From February 18th to the 23rd, I checked in every day and had to call 4-6 times a day for a funding update. I kept reminding them to clean the car. I was assured it would be. On February 24th, the deal should have been funded. I called at 11AM, no answer. At 12PM, Riley said I'd have an update within the hour. I called at 1PM, nothing, emailed at 1:45, called at 2, emailed at 2:40, emailed again at 4:45. No answer. I finally called the bank myself, found my loan info, and confirmed the dealer was funded and the vehicle was clear for pickup. Called at 5:35PM, spoke to Trevor, a general manager, confirmed it in four minutes -- after I waited 6.5 hours. Found deal was funded at 10AM that day. Because of that delay, the transport driver I sourced and paid for waited until 4PM and could no longer pick up the car. I lost the driver, submitted a new request, and it cost me another $140. Riley finally responded at 6:37PM with the answer Trevor already gave me. The new driver was supposed to arrive Monday and cancelled. Not the dealer's fault, but the truck should have already been on its way. Scott was communicative during this part. Kevin also helped with shipping and the driver's info, and I appreciate both. The truck arrived March 6th. It was dirty -- the same dirt and scuffs from the original listing photos. They clearly never touched it after telling me for nearly 20 days it would be cleaned. The steering wheel had gunk on it. I paid my detailer $250 to make it presentable. Even worse, the tires were bald. I still would have bought it, but they should have disclosed it so I could have had tires ready. It would not have passed state inspection like that. If I wasn't tied up in financing, I would have walked away. There were three other trucks priced just as well. I chose Kunes thinking a large dealership would handle things properly. I was wrong. Finally, the truck was cleaned, I paid for tires, and my dad loved it. I thought we were done. Then registration became another nightmare. I bought it in February. It arrived in early March. They did not start registration until MAY. I drove on a temporary tag for 2.5-3 months. They only got it registered after I begged them for weeks. This was terrible from top to bottom. I will never buy from Kunes again. They didn't offer anything -- box of cookies maybe, maybe coffee gift card? Nothing. Thanks to Scott & Kevin for communicating, but everyone else needs Dealership 101. I gave them endless grace. Worst dealership experience I've ever had.

The owner had mentioned that the A/C needed freon and that they would recharge it for me for free. Since it was April, I knew that this was a common practice for that time of the year. The owner had claimed they did a major inspection of the vehicle, the window sticker indicated no known issues, and he told me that him and his wife had driven to and from home. Unfortunately, the evaporator coil in the A/C system was broke and leaking freon. This was a $1300 repair. I am not overly upset with the repair. I understand that when you buy a used car you run the risk of issues arising. However, when I called to see if my 3000 miles warranty covered it (it did not), the owner became uneasy and the hung-up on me. You will probably find a quality vehicle here and have a good experience. My initial experience was good, until I pulled it off the lot.

I had him take the car to my mechanic how identified a very well known issue with the timing chains on this vehicle and would require $2700 in repairs. The mechanic also stated that there was no way this vehicle drove without the check engine light one and that someone manually reset the engine codes. We went back to Kevin to discuss our options. As soon as he saw my nephew a look of dejection came over his face. My nephew took him through the mechanics notes. Kevin's first words were "Did you buy a warranty". When politely asked to return the car he said "that's not how it works', then jumped out of his chair, stormed over to me, stood about 2 inches from my face towering over me trying to intimidate me. I asked him nicely to step back from me and he yelled "you step back!". I said nicely, you stepped up to me, I have not moved, please step back your making me uncomfortable. This caused Kevin to storm to the door and tell us to get out as he was calling the police. Once he noticed I had my cell phone recording he changed his tone considerable, got all nice and and quite. Then he said "well there are things I could do to help, but I'm not going to". A quick ccap search also shows he's be arrested for disorderly conduct which isn't surprising giving how quickly his temper erupted. I HIGHLY recommend you avoid this dealer and buy from someone reputable.

When I contacted them to explain the situation, they refused to respond. I took it to another repair shop and they tried their best, however it was ultimately deemed irreparable. Finally got ahold of Zach 2 months later. There was no effort to remedy the issue or discuss any reasonable solution. They did offer to charge me $50.00 an hour to look at it AFTER telling me it had a catastrophic electrical failure. It felt like once the sale was complete, customer service no longer mattered. I understand that used cars can come with risks, but a vehicle failing almost immediately raises serious concerns about how it was inspected or represented before sale. I would strongly caution others to be very careful when considering buying a vehicle from this dealer. Make sure to get an independent inspection and understand exactly what you're getting into, because support after the purchase will not be there.

I have that audio. https://www.facebook.com/share/14kzKs9Ew4/?mibextid=wwXIfr I had to have my insurance company follow up with you to see if my car was complete. As you can see from the texts, that was on 1/6/25. I picked up my car on 1/6/25. Your statement about "not releasing" my car due to me not paying is false. I was in an insurance covered rental car. Do you really think they are going to continue to pay for my rental knowing my car is complete? Not once did I deny to pay my bill, which was only my deductible, mind you. You stated you couldn't waive the deductible because that's illegal. I never asked you to waive it. Also, where did you get the information that I had auto body work done and didn't return to that shop? Because that is also false. This is my first claim. I've had the same insurance company since 2012. Should I contact my insurance company and get my claim information/history? And you saying I tried to take advantage of a small business? Far from, again, I chose your business because of the number of years you have been in service. I chose to shop local and support a small business. I will not let you bully me or defame my character because I simply posted my experience with your business. If you don't want a negative review, treat your customers better. As you can also see from attached pics, Tim likes to private message his customers and name call.
