Coffee never needs an introduction. If it's premium coffee grounds you crave, & you're a fine tea & coffee gourmand or purveyor, then you'll come in for their coffee (& their teas are quality as well from Milwaukee, Wisconsin).
As far as their tea selection, it's from Rishi teas in Milwaukee, WI. In here they do not have loose Rishi tea as they're a coffee epicure & one of the better spots I've been to in our wonderful country, so rightfully they likely do not need to carry loose tea, but it would certainly not hurt.
On a general coffee opinion, I can openly say America has the best roasters in the world, & with their dedication we've left previous renowned countries like France, Spain, Italy & much of the Mediterranean & the Middle East behind as far as the roasting techniques are concerned.
Yes, a job well done, & Olympia alongwith several others nationwide are constantly learning to get much much better. The world is your oyster, & there's nothing to stop America from being even more ambitious!
Olympia has all organic coffees even if they're not certified organic. As you know, that in itself costs the coffee farms money, & with the money saved in getting their organic certification they save everyone including us drinkers beaucoup beans errr money.
Their Ethiopian & Burundi coffee is stellar, & frightfully so with all if it being in the medium roast category resulting in just the right aroma, profile, flavor, & body in all their coffees. The taste comes down to the flavors your tongue & taste buds pop up with, & that's all it comes down to if you were to break it down.
Moreover, all their espresso drinks are very authentic & properly made. Quality is one thing, but execution of quality ingredients is completely another topic, but not for Olympia Coffee.
They go further with educating the public for free during their weekly Friday cuppings in their exclusively devoted cupping lab, & that's one of the ways to set yourself apart as a epicurean coffee roasters.
Olympia Coffee also has baked goods from Left Bank, which is a local baker that is very authentically French.
Drink up. You know, someone needs to invent a name for cheers for toasting to coffee.
Cheers (you should know which language!),
Prost (German),
Salute, Cin Cin (Italian),
Santé, salut (French),
Salud (Spanish),
Skål (Swedish),
Gunbae (Korean),
Kanpai (Japanese),
Ganbei (Chinese), or
Tulgatsgaaya (for my Mongolian friends).
So we can all drink coffee to your health.
As far as the four star rating, that is because there was just too much hairy arm pit hair from the girl making my coffee. I've enjoyed my cups: from the Burundi cappuccinos & Ethiopian machiattos to their immensely creamy lattés, but I just cannot take my mind off of all that hairy arm pit hair. I understand & I can appreciate the natural movement because I'm naturally motivated myself in more ways than meets your eye, but hairy arm pit hair in customer service is just off putting.
Yes, health, because keep in mind a properly sourced & roasted coffee is indeed a health food! (right from the farms to the roasters) read more
