Super cool coffee shop right in downtown Oly. Because it's downtown, parking is hit or miss. During nice weather or weekends, you'll probably have to hunt for a spot. It's ok, though, there's plenty of parking in the area. You might just have to walk a few blocks. The coffee is good. The open mic nights are fun. The ambience is chill and quirky. The space is small but inviting. The service is friendly. The best time to go is when there's a soft rain and low tide, so you can take your yummy drink and sit outside and listen to the gulls crying in the background. read more

What a neat place to hang out! They went all in on the music theme and executed it very well. Super artsy, eclectic, and Bohemian. I had a tea and a steamer with one of their house-made syrups as well as some snacks. They were all delicious! Customer service was fantastic. The staff (owners?) were awesome. This is an amazing coffee shop. I visited for the first time and I was thoroughly impressed with the friendliness of the staff, tea selection and the amazing atmosphere. The coffee shop is decorated so you uniquely, and they have live music and open mic nights. They have an incredible selection of desserts, but only one drawback. The desserts sit in a display case, when you order the dessert they do not have anything to heat the dessert. I tried the dessert (Apple fritter) without being heat, it was okay. After I took it to my hotel room and heated the dessert, it was amazing. This is such a simple fix. I hope in the future they add the ability to heat there desserts, it would make the experience perfect. read more

Great little coffee shop. Gets crowded fast. For those who have sensory concerns, people will push into you to get by without saying excuse me and waiting to allow you to move first. But what I really came to leave a review for - Went into and ordered a chai tea. Without asking, they upgraded me from a basic chai tea to one with milk. I had to leave due to the overwhelm. (20 minute wait in a crowd for a tea.) I thought I could call right away to see if they'd credit me for a future drink, or maybe remake it and let me know when it's ready... the number online isn't a reachable number - it doesn't ring through and doesn't allow messages. If they'd had a working number so I could resolve this, I would have rated this place a five. I can own partial responsibility for not making it clear I didn't want milk since this is a drink that traditionally has milk in it, but leave me a way to reach back out to resolve in a way that works for us both. read more

Great music themed coffee shop came in later in the day and there was plenty of space to sit and hang out as well as some outdoor seating. I had there espresso tonic and it was great. Everything on the menu look really good as well and the service was amazing. Parking Maybe a bit difficult because this is in the middle of downtown, but we were able to snag a spot closer to the pier and water. Will definitely come back next time I'm in the area read more

I heart coffee art. I'm one of those people that have a five part order at my usual coffee shop. I got a simple oat milk latte and was treated to the most beautiful coffee art that stayed even until I was halfway finished. The shop is laid back and relaxed. I met a friend there and it was quiet enough to talk and come enough to lounge in some deep chairs while enjoying our drinks. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. We left before the live music started but they have a calendar full of artists during the week. Just be sure when you go that you're on the right end of the street. Look for bright orange tables out front and you'll know you're there. Street parking only. read more

Well....they ruined me. I'll never be able to appreciate a basic latte at Starbucks again because this place is next level. I have never had a latte come out so perfect, so creamy and with so much flavor. It was so good I went and got another one 20 min later just to get my fix. Staff was friendly as heck and the ambiance was fantastic. Also, do yourself a favor and get an apple fritter because it is sublime. Flaky, crispy, not overly sweet, a nice apple flavor (wish it had more apple chunks in it) with a buttery smoothness. read more

What a magical little coffee shop! I ordered a London Fog-Earl Grey with steamed milk lavender and honey & a latte. While waiting I listened to an amazing pianist. The swaying mirror ball on the ceiling cast constellations of stars throughout the darkened room. The friendly staff told me they opened in August. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're ever in downtown Olympia. It's also one of the few coffee shops in the area open past 7pm. read more

My tea had gotten a little cold, so I asked for some more hot water. Barista informed me that the owner has a rule that there are no hot water refills on tea. This seems rather wasteful as the tea could have easily be steeped one or two more times. Such a silly rule completely ruined the experience. read more

The coffee is quality, the owners and employees very kind, and the decor fun and homey. But most importantly, they're open late and provide a place for local (and traveling) musicians to perform and hang out. Other events happen here too, such as flash tattoos and tarot reading. Three stars because it's some of the most expensive coffee in town without the decency of being the best. It's pretty coffee art so you pay for ambiance and style. They do have lavender flavor which is nice. I live nearby and they have loud music shows that can be very annoying but if you like entertainment then you'll probably enjoy it. One show in particular was so disrespectful to the people who live in the building I refuse to ever go back to this place. read more

Rhythms is an absolutely wonderful place but I refuse to go there often and that is simply because, all I drink is drip coffee, and the price of a "for here" cup of drip is nearly four bucks which is by far the highest in town. Also, I always like to leave a tup so you're looking at five bucks for a cup of Joe!! And to add insult to injury, they no longer have free or even reduced cost refills!! it's another four bucks for another cup!! Yikes!!! It'a too bad too because it is a great atmosphere and the people are very nice. Love to see at least a reduced rate for a second cup but until that happens, I'm not stopping in much. read more
