Lights haven't worked properly for 9 months now and Barry (owner) has promised repeatedly to come fix them. Hasn't happened. Moved homes within first year and needed help moving the hot tub- received empty promises of follow-up for months until my brother and I finally rented a truck with a massive forklift and just did it ourselves. I would STRONGLY recommend purchasing a hot tub from a more reputable dealer in Grand Rapids or elsewhere, or plan on being 100% self-sufficient beginning the day after you purchase. Once they have your money they're moving on to the next customer, and the only way you will even get a conversation with them is to corner them in their store. Buyers beware- you've been warned.

Paid way more than we should have for a new liner last summer. I don't know how they are still in business honestly. It's now a year later and this was the WORST pool opening we've ever had in 15 years of owning this pool - when in reality it shouldn't have been, given the fact that the liner was brand new last summer and the pool was sparkling clean when it was closed. There is a thick layer of black algae and under it are hard water deposits. (pictures included) We went through a new company this year to open and they assured us the pool was not properly closed (the new company is aware of Knapp Pools as they've had multiple complaints coming from their new clients about them) When they closed our pool last summer they tried telling us that closing doesn't include putting the cover on- it always has in the past. He told us that it only includes chemicals and winterizing the filter. Our pool never received any of the closing chemicals it normally gets when closing so I'm not sure why we paid for closing it at all. To top it off, we were told by the new company that since it was filled with hose water after the new liner it should have been treated for hard water and it never was. There is hard water build up on the brand new liner and it's been over a week and we still can't remove the deposits after various water treatments. There is plenty more that I could add, but if you've read this far it should tell you every reason you should never trust them with your pool care. Total waste of money and time, adds nothing but headaches.
