    Dining room

Very pleasant dining room with food that's not worth eating. My lunch included the driest most bland chicken I've had in years a top a salad consisting mostly of iceberg lettuce with the smallest bits of feta cheese. Also watch out the tip is calculated on top of the tax not pre-tax.

Good food at a good price. Wish their lamb was fresh but otherwise good food. Lemon rice soup is phenomenal.

Set up like a dinner theater for the show I saw. A little noisy from the bar area. The hospitality and food were really good.

I wish they used spinach instead of mixed greens. The feta was outstanding and truly made the salad. The side pita was hard, which was disappointing but overall I enjoyed my salad and would get it again. I'd also love to try their chicken meatballs and gyros.

Very fresh ingredients were used, loaded with shaved moist roasted chicken, fries were added and the sauces were flavorful and delicious! Cost per gyro was around $12.95. I would argue unless you were super hungry each gyro could last two servings! The side of greek fries was a bit confusing I will say. For the take out part, the fries came in a huge brown bag. It felt like a 5 pound bag of fries which costed $9. I think in hindsight if we had known that's how many fries we would get with a side order we would have not ordered that. Also, who charges $9 for a "side" of fries?! No one. So that was the only complaint. But, the servers were friendly and service was fast and generous. The ambiance was nice! I would visit regularly if we were in the area more often. We definitely be back hopefully soon!

The restaurant is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking, so there are never any issues finding a spot. However, some of neighboring businesses are no longer in operation, which leaves the area feeling a bit quiet. The space inside is open and airy, but it can feel a little awkward without any background music, as you can clearly hear everyone's conversations around you. While the pita bread itself is flavorful and soft, the chicken was unfortunately quite dry, which made the overall texture less enjoyable. The flavors were decent, but the dryness of the chicken stood out. I got tzatiki sauce on the side and it helped. One thing to note is that each topping you add that is not already on the item itself, is an additional charge. I enjoyed the zucchini fritters--crispy and packed with flavor. However, at four fritters per order, I felt it was a bit pricey for the portion size. There's a self-serve soda fountain along with a limited selection of beers available. Service was strangely slow and what I can only described as "unbothered". A simple, satisfying meal, but there are areas for improvement.

It was definitely full of whimsy and love. Our table was ready right on time. The spanakopita was an unexpected large bubble of dough vs traditional, so if you want traditional, heads up. It was fine, though. They had a decent Valentine's Day themed drink menu too. I'd guess it was their normal drinks with cute names for the day, but as a first timer I could be way off here. The short ribs were large, meaty and tender. Quite delicious. The mashed potatoes were cold but at least if you had a bite with the meat you couldn't tell as much. My lady got the chicken souvlaki and we both loved it. All in all, Greek is rarely ever going to be my first choice but this is what you do when your love wants it :) I'd be interested in going in for lunch on a non holiday hoping they have some good Greek pizza. The portion size is variable. I've had it "generous" and I've had it "Whoa - that's a LOT of food". They're not covered with a standard tzatziki sauce - theirs is more feta forward. Super tasty. The fries vary as well. Sometimes a bit crunchier and sometimes, while still crunchy, more toward McD fries style. But it's just the outer surface that crunches. Inside it's smooth and creamy. Top drawer. You'll find that they tuck a few fries into the wrap. A nice touch. The only negative point is speed. I've always been there early - the first for lunch. But it still takes a fair bit of time to get the food. Arrive during the crowded time and you're definitely going to be waiting around. But ... worth it. They have a lot more on the menu and have an interesting alcohol free beer/soda that was new to me and a nice change from actual soda. Definitely worth a visit.

I was obsessed with the octopus last time and it was once again grilled to perfection with excellent acidity. The zucchini chips were delightful (even as someone who hates zucchini's). The feta psiti was a comfort per usual. What blew me away and I was so excited to try was the lamb chops. They were cooked to perfection, the look was closer to a medium-well (we asked for medium) but the meat was still perfectly juicy and spiced. The mousaka was also lovely, I have only had this dish homemade and it certainly held its own... definitely had a homemade feel with a generous meat portion. The Roka salad was also lovely. As far as drinks go, I enjoyed my aperol spritz and my spicy margarita a lot, I especially like the tsipouro having tried it as a shot the first time, but I think if I were to go again, I might go for wine for a more consistent liquor content. Now let's talk about service. I want to preface that certain things would 1000% be overlooked had we reserved for a busier time, but we went in 15 minutes after opening and by the looks of it, there were more than enough servers for the tables filled in the patio. The first time that I tried Kava, part of the excellent experience was our server. They were such a sweet person who really took the time to bond with us, brought us a round on the house, and just checked on us and made sure we were always doing good. Today really lacked that element. As soon as we sat down, the server informed us that they were out of three small plates, which happens, but not 15 minutes after opening as this was the case. Nonetheless, we were able to order a lot of yummy things, so fine. We then asked if it would be possible to angle the umbrella some way or move to a different table so I would be covered from the scorching sun this afternoon, and our server said "just wait ten minutes, the sun will move behind the building..." I understand that I asked for a patio and obviously you cannot control the sun nor the weather, but I just feel like the situation could be handled a little better -- at least a better response. Then, my dad ordered a beer which was completely warm. We asked for another which was luke warm, so then he just asked for a cocktail instead. The server was kind enough to bring a cold beer on the house later, but again, right at open, you kind of expect things to be in order. Overall, our server was just kind of... there, not super attentive nor pleasant. Another thing, I tried to get around the Resy "day before" policy because the reservations for Sunday opened during my graduation ceremony on Saturday and I wanted to make sure I get my table especially as my parents were catching a flight, so I emailed management in advance per the host's instructions upon calling. We went back and forth rather unnecessarily (with very delayed replies on their part), then I got completely ghosted... Not sure why. I was eventually able to get a table by calling the host after my ceremony on Saturday and they were incredibly accommodating, but they also noted that this was a graduation celebration, yet there was no acknowledgment... I had a graduation dinner last year at a different establishment in Boston and our server went beyond to ensure a great experience and even brought out a hand-written card with our check. These details could really really help the Kava experience in my opinion. Finally, the servers bringing out the dishes were completely confused. Almost every single dish was brought to the wrong table before reaching us and we could see them running around the patio with our order... rather unprofessional. Ultimately, it is the service that leads me to dock a star from my previous rating. Had the food not been as consistently fantastic, I definitely would be docking more.
