Oh wow, super tasty authentic Greek food with a tasteful homey decorated restaurant. Everyone we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. We opted for appetizers, had mussels, zucchini fritters, and Tzatziki. Of course wine was involved. Any time e are in the area this will be a new go to for us!

Great service, delicious food, really welcoming/clean/cute interior. I'm gluten free celiac and absolutely loved the lamb shank with the lemon roasted potatoes

This was our first, much anticipated visit to Kelari Taverna, and it most definitely did not disappoint! To start with, the service was incredible, from the very sweet, friendly hostess, to our patient, helpful, excellent server. We ordered a few appetizers, the grilled Octopus, which is served with fava spread (?)- dad said it was perfectly cooked and tender. We had the hand cut fries with feta- SO GOOD!! There is nothing like fresh French fries! We also had the Spinach Pie- Spanakopita, which was authentic, and fresh!! Before I forget to mention- the fresh bread comes with homemade olive tapenade. Fabulous!! For our meals, two of us both got the Pork Gyro plates. They were HUGE! So tasty, and delicious, served with hand cut French fries, pita bread, tomato and onion slices, and fresh tzatziki sauce. We have enough for a few meals! The restaurant the beautiful. So warm and inviting. I can't wait to go back! Don't mind the pictures- we forgot to take them before we ate a few bites!

What can I say! This Greek spot is an absolute gem. The food is vibrant, fresh, and full of authentic flavor--from perfectly seasoned meats to bright, herb-forward sides that taste like they were made with real care. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully balanced, without being heavy. What truly elevates the experience, though, is the service. The owner Anna was THE BEST!!! (She previously owned one of my favorite pasta spots) The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We made reservations, so we were seated immediatly. I saw a bad review about seeing "open" tables as a walk in, however I am in the industry and I know that they were reserved for parties who pre booked. Whether you're stopping in for a casual meal or a special night out, this place delivers on every level. Fantastic food, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back. Highly recommended.

Extremely friendly service. Very nice interior design of restaurant. They're able to serve large parties due to able to move tables together. Food was absolutely amazing. Would definitely recommend visiting.

This Traditional Greek Salad was absolutely delicious. Mom and I always share/order the same thing.

My Mom and I have been going to Kelari's since it opened. It is our favorite place to have a nice, authentic, Mediterranean/Greek lunch. The food is so fresh, the servers so attentive. The place is just beautiful, too. Highly recommend!

Got the s'mores French toast with a chocolate frappe and both were heavenly!! Tried my sister's blueberry crunch pancake as well, which was both light and flavorful. When we went back for lunch, however, we found the experience less enjoyable. Both of our waitresses were lovely, but the lunch food was definitely less appealing to us than breakfast. Got a cheeseburger as well as some chicken tenders, which while decent, both lacked uniqueness in terms of flavor. Both were good, but not something I'd crave again. We also shared some loaded fries that lacked crunch and flavor - my mom in particular didn't like their softer texture. Tried some of my sister's chorizo burger though, which was well-seasoned and definitely better than my own burger. Both meals were also decently expensive, (don't remember the exact price, but around 60-80 w/o a tip, with tip it was nearly 100) The ambiance and decor was very charming, with plenty of cute signs and photos that felt very homey and casual. Would definitely recommend breakfast, but for lunch, improvements can be made. Would still recommend for wonderful service + environment though!

Never have I had a more awful BBQ experience. Went here with my family on a Wednesday, their first…read moreday open after Father's Day the prior Sunday. Our server was a nice girl but didn't exude intelligence or personality. I don't say those things as insults, I know a lot of people like that but I don't think that was what we or most people hope for when going to pay an arm and leg for a specialty cuisine like BBQ. We ordered the BBQ sampler for $63 (1/4 lb brisket, 1/4 lb pulled pork, 1/2 rack ribs, potato chips and 2 sides) we added an extra 1/4 lb of brisket and for the sides we chose baked beans and cornbread waffles. The menu said "out of ribs" so in lieu of ribs we ordered Burnt ends which I have been in the mood for and in search of for a while (a lot of bbq places in this area of NH don't have burnt ends) but wait! They had ribs! They didn't have burnt ends... so good job keeping up to date on that menu! So, we got the ribs. The food looked okay when it came out until you looked closer. The whole meal was heavily drizzled with bbq sauce in what I assume was a last ditch effort to make it look appetizing. Usually the moist smoked meats should speak for themselves. They very likely seemed to serve us the leftover Father's Day Brisket and if not, they have really awful, dry, jerky like brisket the entirety of which literally broke apart into dry flakes the second a fork touched it. The pulled pork was also pretty bad. It was charred as if after they pulled it they threw it over an open flame or back on the smoker which isn't commonplace in bbq as it's supposed to be smoked, pulled and served nice and juicy so I assume this was also leftovers. There were sections of it that were charred so bad it was like a burnt chunk of wood that was inedible but a little more than half of the serving was edible with bbq sauce. The Ribs were actually quite good! They were juicy and fell off the bone which is key for good BBQ but they did not redeem the meal yet only added an extra star to this would-have-been 1 star review. The cornbread waffles were floppy and cold, seemed more like an undercooked eggo than a modified cornbread from a good BBQ spot. The beans were fine, nothing to write home about but not disappointing in any notable way. The chips were very good and seemed like they could have been made in house but didn't see or hear anything to confirm this and I wasn't there for chips anyway. My Wife and her Mother both ordered cocktails at $16 a piece, when my wife tried to modify the type of liquor in her cocktail she was told they were batched (pre made In large quantities) with a certain brand of liquor which is not awesome but I guess acceptable for a brewery as it's specialty is supposed to be beer, I did not try any beer as I don't drink much especially on a Wednesday so unfortunately I can't judge the place's brewery ability which also lends itself to the 2nd star. When my wife's cocktail was served the server came out with a shaker and did the performance which I thought was also weird as we had just been told the cocktails are batched so we know you just poured pre batched cocktail in a shaker and shook it. We made our feelings known about the brisket and they were nice enough to refund the extra 1/4 lb we ordered which we did not ingest. The whole meal came out to $147 and we tipped fairly as we really held nothing against the server. They take your card at the door and put a $1 hold on the card which I don't love. After the meal the whole transaction turned into 2 separate transactions for the full amount of close to $200 one of which was taken right out of my bank the other pended for THREE DAYS while my bank held the funds. They should just charge you once the meal is complete. I really question the owners ability to run a business and make smart business decisions including hiring a good Chef. I will not go here ever again and I advise others to stay away unless a change is made. I hope the owner re evaluates his business model and his seriousness to be good because as the only actual bbq place within a high traffic big retail market they really have all the reason to be great. 2 stars. If you read this and say "food costs are high so they can't afford to throw away the leftovers from Father's Day and it's hard to run a small business!" Then maybe should volunteer to be their holiday leftover eater, as the only BBQ place in Salem I'm sure they are not struggling to make it as a small business and it's absolutely unacceptable to serve 3 day old meats. Brisket should be an absolute shining staple of a BBQ restaurant and they should take it very seriously. If these meats weren't leftovers and were in fact prepared the day we dined there then this place really is 1 star and needs to fire its kitchen and get someone serious in there.

This ownership previously operated another pizza shop (Prime) in East Hampstead a few years ago, but sold it. This Niko's is not connected to Niko's in Salisbury MA. The place is casual which is order at the counter with inside seating. The menu offers traditional & specialty pizzas, hot & cold subs, pasta dishes, fried foods, chicken wings & fingers, salads, roast beef sandwiches, gyros, steak tips, stir fry chicken, grilled chicken, small treats, and cooler drinks. The pricing seems fair. I stopped by Niko's Pizza & Roast Beef in Pelham for dinner takeout recently. I ordered the 12" Philly Steak & Cheese Pizza ($16.50 plus tax) and a Jr. Roast Beef with cheese, BBQ sauce, mayo, & horseradish ($9.75 plus tax). My order was all set to go in 18 minutes. I actually ate some of the pizza hot out of the oven with the Jr. Roast Beef in their seating area. The pizza was really stuffed into the box, which expanded to 12.5" × 13". The crust was a bit overdone, which was dry & crunch outside with thicker edge crust, softer inside, topped with shaved steak, peppers, onions, provolone cheese, oil & no sauce. Some ketchup for dipping this pizza helped when I got home. I also enjoyed Phily Cheese Steak Pizza the night before from another new pizza shop in NH, which also had American cheese (instead of provolone), mushrooms, sweet pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese in addition to what I had at Niko's. The Jr. Roast Beef was loaded with plenty of James River BBQ sauce, mayo, rare roast beef, cheese, & horseradish on a soft hamburger bun. This roast beef was a pretty good and tasty version of a smaller NS MA roast beef plus horseradish. I would come back here if I'm already in the vicinity. I would probably order the super beef 3-way and a pasta dish next time and pass on the pizza. 3.6/5.0
