I had a big celebration planned at my house, and at the last minute the weather changed and rain was in the forecast. I started calling around, and some places were trying to charge me around $2800 for a 20x50 clear tent. When I asked for a better price, they kept trying to push me toward a white tent instead. I finally called Olympus, and I was so thankful I did. The team was understanding, reasonably priced, and didn't make me feel like they were trying to take advantage of the situation. When the crew showed up, they were all very nice and got everything set up quickly. Pickup was also easy and smooth. I posted a picture so you can see what the clear tent looked like at night. We just removed a few bulbs so it wouldn't be too bright, and it ended up looking really nice. After calling a lot of places, I definitely recommend checking them out. I didn't have a good experience with this company. Main reason why is because they were extremely late on the delivery. They told me it would be by Friday between 11-1pm and that they would call me 15 mins before arrival. It was 12:50pm and no one called me. I called the company and they said they would be at my house by 2:05. They didn't arrive until 2:45pm. It was a huge inconvenience for me to wait almost 2 hours past the latest time that I was told. Worst part about it is that I did not get a courtesy call to let me know that they were going to be late. I just thought that it was extremely unprofessional to not at least call the customer and let them know they were going to be late. Also, the tables and chairs were very scratched up. A couple of the tables even had huge holes in them. I didn't expect them to be new of course, but not nearly as bad as they were. If you're looking for a place with good pricing, this is it. But overall, I wouldn't recommend booking with this company. read more

I used this company for an event last year and all though the prices are great compared to other event rental companies, they lack in communication and promptness. Here are what they lack. 1. Tania said she will send the quote right away but never received 2. Email responses - I had to email them at least 4 times to confirm my order. 3. Phone etiquette. When speaking to Tania, she is very nice, but often get distracted while in the middle of a conversation and I had to keep repeating. I think if they can improve on these 3 areas, their business can go a lot further. Especially as a small business. read more

I am a teacher and a very busy mom, so putting together a sweet 16 for my daughter on a tight budget seemed impossible-that is until I met Tania. Tania is an expert party planner and decorator-she is an artist! I reached out to Tania through Yelp and she responded quickly. I met with her at her studio and shared with her our vision of the sweet 16, she did the rest! At her studio, she put together different table settings, different fabrics, and props and showed us pictures of her past events. She turned our vision to a reality. Her pricing was extremely reasonable and fair. She works with you with pricing too. Once we had our vision of the party laid out with all the materials, she met me at the venue to measure the hall, tables etc and we determined the best table layout for my daughter's main table, the candy table, the cake table, welcome tables, and the guest dinner tables. It was great to meet with her at the venue and see her in action. Once all items were finalized-materials, venue, layout-she called me a week prior to review all items and last minute details. Our venue opened at 2pm for set up and Tania was there with her team ready to set up. Her service offers transportation of all decorating materials, set up and take down. She set up the entire party for 120 guests within 2.5 hours. She even stayed to help me with tables I tried to decorate on my own. She set up materials (plastic cutlery, water bottles, and centerpieces) that were gifts from family members and did not purchase from her. She stayed to make sure everything was perfect and in its place. She even let me have extra flowers and table cloths for last-minute additions. I cannot thank Tania enough for her work. She is a professional, and a sweetheart. She responds quickly and was always available to talk and discuss party. I feel so blessed to have found her. I highly recommend her for all party rentals. Due to current pandemic situation, my now wife and I needed to be creative for putting together our wedding event after our prior plans had fallen through. We went with a beautiful backyard garden wedding at my parents home. We still wanted a top notch event, so after talking with a few rentals companies about how they could help us set up our event, Olympus Party Rentals was our choice. We worked with their coordinator Tania who was an amazing asset. She was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions or changes we would have. Part of our set up included stringing bistro lights across the yard, and Tania was happy to send out someone to take measurements of the yard and discuss possible lighting designs. I had the pleasure of working with Tania this past weekend and she is absolutely the best! I found her through Yelp and it did not disappoint to work with such an awesome person like her! I was able to reach her through texting very easy. All I needed was the white wooden chairs for our party. But she has resin chairs instead which looks just like it actually so I didn't mind too much. You have to order $100 and more for FREE delivery but our order was only $80 so we had to go pick up the chairs ourselves. I had one hecka busy week of planning so I forgot a few things. 1. They open at 12P.M. I sent my helper out at 11 instead. But when he got there, he called her and she still came out early for us to pick up. Not just that, she helped my delivery boy load them up too. 2. CASH only. I totally forgot to give him cash. But we were able to pay through this one website, not really sure what it was. So make sure you bring cash on the day of pick up!! 3. CLOSED ON SUNDAY. So all returns are done on Monday. I was hoping to get it done on Sunday to finish early but we had to wait till Monday. When Monday rolled around, Tania was nice enough to come pick it up because she was not available for me to drop it off. Thank you for being so nice & great throughout!! I've used Olympus Party Rentals a few times now, and have always had a great experience. I've rented a couple of tents from them for our family Christmas parties, and they have looked beautiful. I also just rented 8 cocktail tables -- I was afraid that the bottom of the tables would scratch my wood floors, I mentioned this to the wonderful Tania, and she said she would make sure that my floors would be protected, and they were! Edgar and Tania and Company were a great team - Their communication before our event, which was a mini-festival... and our first one!... ran very smooth. Olympus Party Rentals provided two tents that connected into one big tent.. They were very patient and helped us to trouble shoot and come up with the best idea for a setup. This is amidst, rain, strong winds, and the middle of winter, right before the holidays! And in fact, the day of our event the weather was amazing.. AND.. we were all so grateful for how far and wide Olympus exceeded our expectations.. The tents ended up being way more spacious than any of us anticipated.. and the heaters were a perfect addition to counter the chill. Edgar and Tania demonstrated an amazing work ethic by coming out several times before the start of our event to make sure everything was correctly setup...the tents, plus the attached lighting, and heaters. They were accessible by phone and by text, which was very convenient for me. Also I reached out to them with a little over a week's notice.. so I was so happy they were able to accommodate us. Also, they took the time to answer any questions we had, regarding the setup, rates, additions, etc, and how to use the two heaters we rented from them. We got a chance to visit her showroom and see what she offered. She was very nice, informative and thorough. We were looking for a place to rent chiavari chairs and a couple other things to have for our wedding. She pretty much has everything you need from drapery, table settings, and just a bunch of decor. We ending up getting the chiavaris and bartender service which was priced very well. She also is very organized when quoting you and sending up updates when you make changes. She can email you the quote and update it in real time as you make changes without having to send you another email. She also works with you and was very accommodating. I was the mother of the bride for my daughters wedding on October 1, 2016. First of all, I am a very detailed oriented person as far as décor is concerned. I wanted it all to be perfect and I had a vision before we started. .I had briefly seen a wedding that Olympus was setting up at the Plaza. I thought it looked beautiful. When we started planning for our daughters wedding we priced several vendors and overall Olympus was the best price. At first the main thing that sold me was the pipe and drape shirred white fabric that they use as tenting. We had 200 guests at the wedding. When we first arrived at the outdoor venue, Edgar and Tanya had transformed an empty asphalt parking lot into a stunning ballroom. We had them hang some absolutely beautiful crystal chandliers from the tent. The entrance took our breath away! I had them put a pipe and drape backdrop behind the sweetheart table, with a floral header. When we went to proof it at their location, It was not exactly what I had envisioned and they immediately offered to correct it without any reservation. Tanya went shopping for what I wanted, and it was done! I found Edgar and Tanya to be very cooperative and a pleasure to work with. They did not hesitate to meet with us at a drop of the hat even though they were not close in proximity. Tanya shared her ideas on how to get the most for our money. And we never would have been able to get the fabric tenting had we not used Olympus. Although they weren't our only vendor for the wedding, I am sooooo glad that we used them.
