I dont normally rent any jumpers but this past birthday our family had ordered one from Manny. He was good at communicating and prompt. We rented out a jumper for a Saturday, he dropped it off Friday and didnt pick up until Sunday, so technically we had it for longer than what we charged for. I guess he didnt need it since it wasnt booked and we didnt mind having it so we did not complain one bit. The whole process was simple, from booking, to payment, to pick up and drop off. I reserved a jumper from them years ago and I remembered the great service that was provided. This time, I was able to reserve the jumper on their website. Make sure to use their $5 off coupon code! Also, make sure to check your junk email for confirmation after you booked with them! I requested 1pm and they arrived around 10am which was fine with me. I requested to have it get picked up at 8pm so I won't be charged an overnight fee, but they said they were going to pick it up the next morning anyway. Used Manny's Party Rental a while ago so this review is late. I booked everything through the website. I contacted Manny's through email to see if they could deliver the night before as I had a balloon vendor coming early morning. They said yes. A few days later, I wanted to be sure so I called and texted. They said Manny would be in touch. I got a new invoice with a new delivery date a few days later. Ok Cool. The day before the event, the delivery driver called confirming delivery for tomorrow. I said no, I have a new invoice that says delivery is today. He said no problem. So the delivery guy came over to set up the 20x20 canopy. The back wall was tied extremely crooked. Great. Asked him to re-do it but he didn't want to. Felt like it was an inconvenience to him. Uhm, walls cost extra $. So if it's not to my liking then I'm going to say something. Especially when other vendors are going to show up to decorate. Also, one of the metal poles left wet dirt on our cement. The dirt was from a previous party that the canopy was used at. My husband tried to fix the walls. Even the roof cover was drooping, hanging over the side all ugly. I saw my niece's canopy today at her party and it was a lot nicer with bright lights. Service was just nonexistent and the driver/delivery person didn't care at Manny's so I won't be ordering again. read more

Their website lets you go through the steps to place an entire order, only to not have any payment options at the last step. Then I get a text from an 800 number offering to help. When I reply to the text..... nothing. I won't be using this company. Their website made booking for rentals extremely easy. During the time of purchase, there was a coupon code available that took $5 off! I rented chairs and tables for my events and the company was very responsive when we needed to contact them and responded in a timely manner. The only minor issue I ran into was that a few of the chairs and tables I received were dirty with mud smudges and a couple of chairs had small piles of dirt fall out as we were unfolding and setting up which caused a delay in our set up which we didn't anticipate having to clean spray everything down. I reached out to Manny and and he was extremely accommodating and polite about the situation and assumed full responsibility and offered compensation for the trouble. He replied super quickly and I loved that about their customer service. We rented on a busy weekend and the company asked if they could drop off the rentals a day early and of course, not a problem and the pickup time was 11:30 AM the next day. We stacked and set everything neatly to the side ready for pick up the night before and the employee came around 7 AM instead which I wasn't prepared to be awake for after an extremely long night. I rented a jumper and table/ chairs for a party last weekend and was extremely disappointed to find the state that it was in. It was clearly a very old jumper. It didn't inflate fully and was EXTREMELY dirty! I had to go in with wet wipes just to make it look decent. I was also not happy with the fact that the jumper was not secured in any way - no stakes or sand bags were used. The toddler tables and chairs looked like they had gone through a beating. They were in rough shape. One of the tables was lop sided with two of the legs missing the rubber caps. They were also really dirty so I had to hose them down before the event. This was the first time renting from Manny's and needless to say. I will never be renting from them again. read more

We had our Christmas Party for Staff and Family at Foothill Gym on Friday. We ordered a bouncy castle for all the kids. They delivered in plenty of time. Super friendly and castle was perfect. Cleaned prior and set up for us. We actually had the castle inside the gym. Very reasonably priced. No unexpected issues, everything above expectations. Extremely happy. Sometimes you don't know how things will turn out when using a company for the first time, however Manny's is in my books from now on. Won't go anywhere else. I think tone and friendliness dictates how a conversation will go. I called to get a quote, and immediately the women who picked up the phone had an unfriendly and demanding tone. When I asked for a specific quote, she wanted to know more details (I had already done my research and I knew what I needed), but I gave her the details anyway. She gives me a quote, then, when I asked what it included, the woman wanted to talk to me as if I was a child and clarify her stance. Not only is that unnecessary, it pushes people away. In my case, just as she saw me as a replaceable customer, this is also a replaceable business. Clarification is okay and welcomed, however, not when being talked down to like a child.
