We rented a bunch of LED furniture from Opus. The booking process was easy and they were very responsive and easy to book. Even when I added extra furniture the week of they were super accommodating which I appreciated -- but there were a few hiccups along the way. The day before we were given a delivery window - they showed up about 2 hours early, and I was not home yet to meet them. Not knowing anything about what I needed my husband told them to put everything in our backyard. I came home to a stack of high top chairs about 12-14feet high and plastic wrapped. I know this is how they travel, but it would have been nice if they were left in more realistic stacks. Even on a stepping stool I wasn't tall enough to get them unwrapped and down. Then when night came about 2-3 pieces weren't lighting up. I called the next day (the day of the event) and thankfully they were able to send a friend who was coming this way out to replace the pieces. She was super helpful and lovely. As frustrated as I was that pieces weren't working, this extra effort really helped. But then after the party the following Monday the delivery crew again showed up hours early. They didn't even let us know they were there, they just let themselves into our yard took the furniture and left. Had they come when scheduled and let me know they were here I had tip money for them! While I appreciate them not asking for the tip I don't think they should just silently take the furniture. I had a heart attack when I saw it was gone and then had to check the cameras to confirm it wasn't stolen. Also what if our dogs were in the yard? Next time, definitely let people know you're there! Also knocking off one more star because by 10 pm (and the furniture was turned on at about 5:50) 3 more pieces had died and were no longer lighting up including one of the pieces that was replaced that morning. I'm glad the party was full so no one really noticed, but since I paid for light up furniture it was disappointing to have so many issues with it . read more

I requested a quote from Opus after a referral. Nezhdeh came out on Feb 25th to measure the area I need covered for dance floor. After a week of no follow-up communication or quote I called to make sure everything was ok and verify if he still wanted the job. He stated on March 3, 'apologies for the delay. I will work on it today.' 9 days later nothing. As a professional tell me you don't want the job. Congratulations for being so overwhelmed in business. read more

I'm not recommending this business because they're not professional. We were in contact with Nezhdeh to get an estimate for the pool cover and party rentals items. We agreed to meet on 9/19 and he cancelled on us the morning of. When we reschedule with him for the following day, we had agreed to meet at 5 pm, he would come to our house at 3 pm, which was not what we had agreed with. We have requested again for a meeting at an actual agreed time, and he didn't even respond to us. Please understand that we are the customer, we are busy, and we don't work under your schedule. I wish I could give zero stars. In all my years I have never experienced a less helpful company. I had a large order for an upcoming event and unfortunately we had to switch locations last minute. Although this is an inconvenience for everyone involved, Opus was the only company that was completely unwilling to accommodate in any way. They told us they were not able to deliver to our new address which was about 35 minutes away from the original one and that we would not receive any of our money back. My husband and I hired Opus Rentals for our intimate backyard wedding reception. We originally found them to build a deck over our pool with a dance floor. They have so many affordable add-ons, we ended up using them for all the rustic tables and chairs, pallet walls, bar area and a couple barrel tables for a game area. Nez and his team at Opus Rentals were absolutely amazing throughout this entire process. Nez scheduled to meet at our home to look at the space and provide suggestions. I must have changed the order 20 times, but Nez was patient and continued to provide excellent service. They were prompt with scheduling and had such great follow-through. They showed up on time and were the most efficient team, setting up the pool deck, dance floor, tables and chairs in about 5 hours. They also removed all of the equipment a day after the event. This is the second time I have used Opus for a party. Even though my order was not huge, Nez was always super responsive and worked with what I needed. They are one of the few companies that have Chiavari high tops in black. The quality of their chairs did not disappoint. They take great care in covering them and protecting them from scratches. This was an indoor party so I requested that extra felt tabs be placed on all the chairs and tables. Nez accommodated for a small additional fee which was definitely worth it. Had a baptism luncheon 8/13/16, and wanted to rent a open air all fabric tent but with only 2 weeks notice it was unfortunately booked but Opus Event Rentals was beyond accommodating and understanding of my situation. Would recommend using Opus rentals for any furniture you need for a party big or small. I only needed to borrow their half round farm table and the process from pickup to drop off was smooth and seamless with no issues. In an over-saturated wedding rental market, Opus wins! Very affordable prices, fast response times and flexible to work with. We have made several changes planning our wedding and Opus has been responsive and understanding each time. Nezdeh is great to work with and even willing to meet to go over inventory. Nezhdeh really bail me out last weekend with a massive event in West Los Angeles. I needed four wooden bars and he was the only place in town that still had some inventory left since the weekend was Lunar New Years and the Super Bowl weekend and all the bigger companies had there inventory on trucks that were going north. The bars looked great and Chang Beer and the 626 Night Market were very happy with them... as well as I was... There pricing is very reasonable and not bloated. They weren't chipped, broken, or f-ed up in any manner like some of these hack rental companies are around Los Angeles proudly do. He arrived on time and when he said he would and came to pick up the bars when he said he would. The transaction was very effortless.
