    Uptown sundae
    Marie O.

What a delight this place was. A Filipino, Japanese, Asian fusion blend of wonderfulness. I ordered the uptown sundae which was toasted coconut with a purple yam ice cream and mochi. My husband got a Southend one , same but with Marshmallows and fruity Pebble cereal which I actually will order next time. Then we got orders of spicy chicken popcorn that was a perfect balance of fried and battered spicy chicken, loved it. Place was super clean and service out of this world great . They had great food options I'm dying to try next time. Like udon noodles, etc. I'm definitely going to come back. Prices seemed pretty good to me too.

I was craving boba & Binki Cafe was close by. During past visits (+ their Charlotte location) they're usually busy and it can get a bit crowded, but luckily it wasn't and my order came out fast, about 8 minutes. I got the wintermelon milk tea, spicy popcorn chicken, & ube soft serve ice-cream w/ Oreo toppings. The wintermelon milk tea was good. The boba was decent but it was still nice & chewy. I requested my popcorn chicken to be spicy (they use dry seasoning) & it did had a nice kick, but the more I ate it, it became salty. Still ate the rest since it was my first meal & my partner helped me finish the rest, lol. The ube soft serve was really good! The cup portion is huge & the ube flavor is def there! Love that your 1st choice of toppings is free, & if you want additional toppings it's extra. Overall, Binki Cafe has became such a hit ever since they made their location in Winston-Salem. Again, I stated that I've been here a couple of times, but it's been quite a hit or miss for me personally. Last time I ordered their taro & Thai milk tea & it was underwhelming. Their food menu is huge & I like the variety of Asian dishes you can choose from (hibachi, ramen, Filipino food, etc), but I just couldn't pass on the prices since it's pretty steep. But I will say that i'm glad I came back & with everything that i ordered, I was pleased.

Was not the biggest fan almost immediately after walking in. I walked in the door and said hello, the guy at the register didn't say anything. So once I actually got to the counter, I repeated myself and still not even a greeting. I ignored it and went to look at the menu. My sister was with me and mentioned that we have never been here. The guy said oh cool and that was it.. while standing at the counter overlooking the menu, one of the wait staff comes out with food on a tray reaches down to grab the plastic ware and just carelessly tosses it onto the tray and calls for the customer.. within five minutes of being there, I can already tell there was a huge lack of Customer Service. We continue to order food and our Boba drinks. I got the brown sugar milk tea, and my sister got the Taro. They were pretty good. Food wise, I ordered the Japanese curry.. it was pretty good. The sauce was a little too thick. Not cooked down enough.. My sister ordered the the chicken katsudon, wasn't too bad just extra salty with the garlic rice. I think we enjoyed the takoyaki over all of it. The floors were extremely sticky, as well as the tables.. not sure what's going on here, but I don't feel like I'll be coming back.

You're going to want to try it all. It's has a really nice atmosphere. The place is very clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly, and the service is very fast. As for what I had, the Tokyo (Galaxy Tea Series), Ube Sunday with Oreo cookies, popcorn chicken and their Tonkotsu Ramen

The boba and drinks are FANTASTIC!!! I am someone who really loves fruity drinks and the New York galaxy series tea is wonderful. They put a cute little rainbow flashing ice in it and it's awesome. Their service is wonderful as well. They are very quick and get things done well!!!!

I was literally a few doors down at K-Stop and if you know me, when I'm outside for a while, I have to get my boba tea fix. This place is really cute and the staff was very friendly. It's ample seating in the inside. It actually bigger in the inside than I thought. They have quite a few menu items ranging from boba tea, ice cream, and even ramen. I opted to get the chai boba tea with oat milk. It was really good and I enjoyed it. The only thing was that I do like my boba chewy. I think it was a little too soft for me. And I do like ice in mine and it was barely any ice in it. Those are nit picky but it won't discourage me from trying them again. I will do an update and try the boba tea again and hopefully some ramen. To be continued.

Ube. Everything. Always. I've been here for their boba tea but was thrilled to go in for ice cream. Now, I have to plan to go back for their food! We got the ube swirl, dirty boba, and the south end, banana turon. I love all things ube so the ube ice cream was a favorite. It had so much flavor and I love fruity pebbles on any dessert! The dirty boba had so many flavors and it was delicious! I tried a bite of the fried banana on the banana turon and it was so good as well. Can't go wrong with any of these desserts.

I don't feel like this was the same place I went to a yelp event. I came in for lunch on Wednesday and it felt like the staff was bothered we were there. This might be a great place to pick up Boba tea to go but I wouldn't recommend staying to eat. The smell of cleaning products were overwhelming, which should have been my cue to leave. Instead I waited probably 30 minutes for a bowl of mediocre ramen. Come here for drinks not for eats.

Enjoyed the freshness of ramen and loved all the egg options. Steak kind of had a beefy jerky taste and feel. Kids were tickled with their galaxy teas and the options for jelly and pop boba. Two meals, two drinks with tip came in about $60. Portions were decent but definitely a treat of a meal. Kids ate maybe of a fourth of their meals but did give high marks to the fried egg, steamed rice, and ramen broth.

It's a lovely space with ample seating for a bubble tea shop that serves food as well. Tons of great photo op spots. It's a great menu with a wide selection of offerings. Fruit teas, milk teas, coffee series, galaxy series, Pearl lattes, smoothies, slushes, ice cream, sundaes, ice cream related drinks, and their take on a fruit and yogurt soda. Food includes various snacks, ramen and noodle bowls, and rice bowls. I found the ramen to be pretty filling. The Tonkotsu one has a nice flavored broth, a bit on the salty side. I've tried a galaxy tea, Pearl latte, fruit tea and milk tea so far and they have all been great. Looking forward to trying more menu items!

We have visited this location multiple times since it opened in Winston and love that we finally have a café dedicated to boba and unique drinks close by! The interior is always clean, and the staff is always ready to help. For this visit, we got an Oreo Milky Way Series. The Milky Way Series is basically a line of milkshakes. We have gotten their milkshakes before and they have a good flavor, though every time we get them, they seem like they are not cold enough and not very thick. This does cause the milkshake to melt faster, especially if the temperature is higher outside. Also, we requested for there not to be whipped cream on the Milky Way and it was printed on the label placed on the cup, though it was still put on top.

Hanes Mill Rd, this gem is housed in the same spot where the Hwy 55 burger joint was (I sure miss them). Parking is shared with other area merchants, and since it's quite a distance from Walmart's entrance, finding a space is not a problem. The restaurant is well-lit, comfortable and clean. We were promptly greeted and shown to a table. The menu had a great selection of ramen, bento, and sushi. While I was leaning towards sushi, I opted for the chicken katsu bento. The food came out quickly and I was pleasantly surprised at the portion size. Definitely a good value in my opinion. The only disappointment was their take on fried rice, which seemed more like a dirty rice you would get at Popeye's. Honestly, I think white rice would have been a better pairing for this dish. Great service throughout our visit and we're keeping this one on the short list.

They have Malaysian food and a specialty menu for khmer food. Khmer food is not knowned much in the east but its beginning to be more learned about and popular. There food is rich in flavor and there cuisine is mostly known for there use of fresh herbs, coconut milk and aromatic spice paste;known as kroeung(lemon grass paste). I decided to try some entrees from the Khmer menu. I tryed the Malaysian Roti appetizer with side curry. It is so so delicous. The curry is tasty too but a little too sweet for my taste. Main entrees I tryed was the chicken kroeung (sour lemongrass soup) and the braised pork meat on bone cooked in soy sauce( Malaysian style but Khmer people have a similar dish). The chicken kroeung is soup for the soul, filled with alot of green veggies and best eaten with white rice. The braised pork meat is great too. Cooked just right and seasoned good. Its not sweet or salty. Usually I would try braised meat in soy at other restaurants either it would be way too sweet or salty but they made theres just right. Now the Southeastern asian cooking is not for everybody or those who have only tried chinese or japanese food. If you'd like to try something different but oh sooo delicous, khmer cusine is for you!! The staff is very welcoming, friendly and informative. Food came out hot, quick and tasty(bursting of aromatic flavors). I met the owner too. He mentioned he also have a donut shop called Intown donuts and Boba tea..down the road on Jonestown Road. Will definitely dine here again and try there other menu items. Next time am going to try the donut shop before I come here since it closed earlier.

We asked our server if they had anything spicy besides Sriracha and she brought their chili oil. If you like spicy food, definitely ask for it! It had a nice garlicky flavor, wasn't overly spicy and paired perfectly with the pho. We also tried their version of crab rangoon. We were surprised that the filling was green but it was actually really good! We didn't care for the dipping sauce that came with it though.
