I guess I have a new favorite Thai place in town. the staff and provider I work for talked about how good this place is and I wanted to give it a try. I love it! food could be a little bit more spicy but it is so good. It does not feel heavy or anything. Just tasty and amazing. I had their lunch special yellow curry and it was really good. great portion and tasty food. will definitely return here.

Ommmmmmm, YEAH! I was greeted by a friendly and fun loving staff...smiles on all of their faces and laughing their way through the evening from the kitchen to the counter. It was a contagious positive energy that flowed throughout the entire restaurant. I started with a classic - Thai Iced Coffee - perfect! Then came the THAI SALAD with peanut dipping sauce. The freshest of ingredients imaginable, probably from local farms up here in Ojai and a thick and tasty peanut sauce that was just right. The salad had the freshness, the crunch and the flavor. Finally the BACON CHOW MEIN. The noodles were a nice al dente and the broccoli, celery, cabbage, carrots and sprouts were fresh, crunchy and delicious. That this place happened to be an eight minute walk from my Airbnb makes this a heavenly find! Right on Route 33 on your way into Ojai from the 101... Make the stop! It is out of this world.

Rarely do I love EVERYTHING about a restaurant, but this place immediately captured my heart. From the street it appears to be just some small rinky dink road side restaurant but once in the parking lot the street sounds disappear and the enticement from the elephants draws you inside where we were pleasantly greeted by the business owning family. We chose our seat in the corner with a great view of the mountains and full view of the restaurant floor and kitchen. I'm a big fan of the open floor plan here. They make great use of the space. It's a very inviting, comfortable and homey vibe. I love the table linens and decor. Each table has a copy of a raving local review of the restaurant from a well traveled foodie. We arrived at 11:30, right when they opened (a few minutes before even). The menu has a great array of options to choose from: making it a good place to come back to over and over. Once we decided on our desired dishes and had our orders taken they turned out of food so fast! They brought each dish out as it was ready; so, not all together. But one by one they came out within 5 minutes of ordering. And oh mannn, that first bite was soo succulent and delicious. I had the pad see ew, which I now would like to eat for every meal. The noodles were sooooo good with the oyster sauce flavoring and the veggies and tofu were cooked perfectly. I loved this dish and had my left overs cold for dinner which was also so good. My husband had the drunken noodles with pork since they don't serve the orange chicken until dinner time. A good excuse to get him out of his comfort zone, and he's glad it did. He loved the drunken noodles and how flavorful the seasoning was and clean and fresh it all tasted. My mom had the green curry lunch meal with tofu. "Creamiest most delicious curry I've ever had" she remarked. Their coconut milk or however they prepare their curry is very special here and makes for a smooth, delicious, creamy curry. Very soothing for the throat and the stomach. And not spicy at all. This place is a gem! We will definitely be coming back because I'm already craving some more. I can picture swinging by for some take out after a busy day of work. Bright things in our future knowing this place is so close to home.

Delicious! We are new the the neighborhood and our go to Thai place in ventura is closed on Tuesday's. This place ISNT! And it's right around the corner. We ordered to go and the phone service was very friendly and through. Only thing that i noticed was the food had zero spice, I suppose I'll ask next time for chilies to be added. It's my fault though as the place we order from asks you how spicy you want your food from the 1-4. This place was great. Huge servings. Very fresh and the BEST Tom Kha I've ever had! read more

Wowow this place is delish!!! All the standard American style Thai with some edgier less we'll know but yummy dishes mixed in. The atmosphere is super casual. Maybe too casual? But the food is to die for. The one thing this place could really use is an overhaul of the wine list. The wine is both boring and bad. Seeing as how they're so close to Ojai (wine country) and the food is so fantastic, I was expecting more (much more). If they had good wine, I'd try to move in. But as it is, this will be my go to any time I'm in the area. read more

Ordered for the family tonight and was sadly let down. The wontons were very plan and each wonton had one bite of chicken in it would not get again. I had the chicken chow main and it was seasoned well and came in a large portion. Family also got sweet and sour chicken which was full of veggies and yummy chicken but my dad got shrimp stir fry it had 4 pieces of shrimp and they were under cooked. Sad but still trying to support local businesses. Only reason for 3 stars is the Thai tea is good:) read more

We've been here twice now, as it's just up the street from our house. I used to work at a great Thai restaurant in LA, so I have pretty high standards for Thai food. I put off going here for a while because I didn't think it would be able to compare to what I was used to in LA. But for such a small restaurant way up in Oak View, this place is really good!! Their weekend special (kao soi curry noodle soup) was great and something I had never had before as was their Tom Kah soup. Service was awesome too, and the restaurant has a homey, small town vibe. I've been coming here for about 3 years. The ladies are amazing! They are so happy and friendly. Everything I have had here has great flavor and fresh vegetables. They serve a vegetable soup at the beginning of the meal and my sister and I literally would drive up just for it. Pad see ew is another favorite we order often. The Thai tea is a must to accompany the meal. If you want great Thai food, incredible service, and a calm atmosphere this is the place to go! read more

These people are very friendly, and whenever I have visitors it is the go-to place to take them--eating there, or takeout. High quality typical Thai dishes. Of course, I like the drunken noodle, eggplant, satay chicken, and Any soup including coconut and the wor wonton...now I have to get that one tonight! One of those places where you can always just get one more dish if you can't make up your mind, and leftovers, if they remain, are never a regret. read more

The food is extraordinarily good. My favorite dish is the green curry. They use the highest quality ingredients. I've had takeout -- that's all you can get during the lockdown-- seven times in a month and can't get enough. I'm now exploring some of their special dishes. This restaurant has great vibe and lovely people working there. The food was prepared authentically and was delicious. Our request was to have the yellow curry to be medium spicy, but it didn't have any heat to it at all. Nevertheless, that was easily remedied and the meal went on. We enjoyed Tom Yum Kah with Shrimp, yellow chicken curry (great balance of protein and veggies), and tofu pad Thai. Definitely will come back again! Oh the Thai tea was on point! read more

When Om changed ownership several months ago, my family and I were a bit nervous. Since then, our fears have proven unjustified. The new owners have kept much of the existing menu and added a few items of their own creations. The food is delicious with fresh ingredients and that "made just for you" taste. No steam-trays or greasy pre-prepped dishes here. The decoy has been freshened up a bit, but it remains a warm, comfortable dining experience. There's even some tables outside if you prefer. Om's signature curries are fantastic!!! They vary with the seasons and depending on availability, they may have mango curry (Yum!), pumpkin curry (also Yum!!) or other fun creations. Their soups are especially wonderful as we head into colder weather. And if you're fighting a scratchy or sore throats or a full-on cold, their homemade soups with help get you back on your feet and feeling better. And they are delicious, with several types of beautiful mushrooms, crisp and zingy lemongrass, and fresh ginger. Yum! Om's prices remain very reasonable, with generous portions and very pleasant and attentive staff. They do a brisk To-Go business and always take time to confirm everything in your order is just right, so you don't get home and find you have the wrong order. Always look for or ask about their specials! They have a frequently changing side menu of Chef specials and there are often some unique and fantastical culinary creations offered. Om is in the process of obtaining a beer/wine license, and anticipates getting it soon. I hope so, because having a cold beer to balance the complex blend of curry spices (that I ordered just a bit spicier than I should have) would make Om perfect! Om is a much-appreciated gem of a restaurant in the Ojai Valley. You won't be disappointed. read more

Jaeb and the servers are kind and polite. The food is amazing and the restaurant is clean and comfortable. Like being at someone's home. Wear shorts or business casual, it's all just fine. Jaeb will make it FRESH using FRESH meats and vegies when you order. Nothing sits around. You can HEAR your food going into her huge pans...sizzle! My husband and I LOVE going to Om. Only negative is it's not open on Sundays, but hey, they have to rest. They work so hard to make your meals right and the Orange chicken is made with BREAST MEAT CHUNKS not slivers of greasy thigh meat. There is nothing even close to a meal at Om. Excellent Thai Food and a favorite place to go with friends! I usually order Pad Thai with Shrimp, Pad See Ue with Chicken (flat rice noodles with brocolli) and Kang Ka Ree (Yellow Curry with potatoes and Tofu) along with Thai Ice Tea. Also I usually ordered brown rice with the curry. Excellent. Yummy! A favorite in the Ojai area. read more

Love this place! I want to come here everytime I come to California. Got fully satisfied with the Thai Stir Fried veggies commonly called Pad See Ew, I like it with lots of fresh vegetables and mushrooms and tofu. Without Om Fusion, Oak View wouldn't be the same! Om has the best Thai food (and greatest service!!!) in the Ojai Valley. Not to mention Ventura and Oxnard as well. Wherever you are, Om is worth the drive. The food is delicious and has that home made touch. read more

I just tried the bacon fried rice at the recommendation of a friend and it was delicious. The service is good, even though it's busy in a Wednesday at 7 PM. You can tell the locals love this place by the sheet number of to go orders. read more
