It's all who you get here. I thought everyone was good until my last two visits, yesterday's being the worst. I asked for a simple clean up and she thinned out my eyebrows and burned/irritated my the skin around my brows so bad my eyes with the thread they were swollen for about 36 hours. I had to use gel eye patches to bring it down. I told her it was too thin and she responded with no, they're good. I won't be back. The last visit I did the brow dye and thread and it was just messy. I had to run back home to do some damage control. I've had great experiences with two other women but unfortunately I won't be returning. read more

I have been getting my eyebrows threaded in Hicksville for years even though I no longer live near there. I find the local eyebrow threading spots are nowhere near what I got in Hicksville so that's where I stayed. Until this past Tuesday, that is! I went into OM on the $5 threading offer to find a clean little salon and a woman who was very eager and thankful for my business. Best part? My eyebrows look awesome! Would not recommend to go here, I've never had such a bad experience getting my eyebrows threaded. I have a nice arch shape and my eyebrows are easy to thread, however she didn't know what she was doing and was thinning out my eyebrows. Which resulted to my eyebrows looking uneven. I went to take advantage of $5 eyebrow threading from a post I saw on FB. The place is small but clean and she was always making sure her hands were sanitized and cleaned the chair before and after I left. I ended up doing the eyebrow treading and tint, I loved it. Just got a terrible, uneven, shoddy, sloppy threading job from a "practitioner" going at LIGHTNING SPEED that ripped WAY too much hair out of my eyebrows (which, btw, are actually super thick with a great arch - how fucking hard is it to work with great eyebrows???) and made them look like two tiny misshapen caterpillars on my face. There's nothing that can even be fixed until they grow back in, hopefully someday. Word to the wise - avoid this place like the plague. read more

Literally bought a Groupon for eyebrow threading while waiting for my egg sandwich and walked two doors down and used it- fabulous! My children were with me and they had a comfy couch to sit in. DO NOT GO! She tore off some of my eyelashes and was not remorseful at all. It was my first time using this place and I picked it because of the reviews and proximity to my house. I was a walk-in and was happy to see no one was there so I got seen right away. I told the lady I needed eyebrows and lip threaded. She started threaded right away and was going really fast AND ended up pulling some of my eyelashes off !! I have had my eyebrows threaded for years and never ever had this happen. She was rushing and was careless. I had to stopped and asked for tissue because my eye was watering. She quickly apologized but proceeded to make excuses. I understand things happened and I am pretty laid back when it comes to accidents but she was not remorseful at all. My left eye where the eyelashes were pulled is still irritated from the thread. I am sad to say I am not going here anymore. i was going for a while and the owner was honoring the groupon price for me. Today i went and got my eyebrows chin and upper lip threaded. upon finishing, the technician said "35$" because i had a full face threading. I corrected her and said it was literally my upper lip and chin and cleaning of the eyebrows. then she said you did your neck. at this point i continued to say no my chin is not my neck. . i had to whip out my phone to look at groupon rates and she called the manager on her end. after some not very nice conversation, the manager said i should have bought the groupon. This was not what was told to me initially. The technician said "well i wasn't here when you had that conversation so you have to pay what i ask for ". no lady it doesn't work that way. The owner had told me to NOT purchase groupons and they would just honor it out of courtesy. Now the story changed. After i got upset, the new price was 24$. How does that happen??
