The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable. The housekeepers, or someone else, should be checking that things work in the rooms. Three lamps in my room did not work. The TV did not work. Some lamps in some rooms are so dim that they are useless for reading. I've been coming here for a few years and the pool has never been in service. The continental breakfast is adequate but they could omit the mini-donuts and pastry and add fruit or something healthy. Add plain, unsweetened yogurt too. read more

After many years of coming into omak and having different hotels, this is one of the best hotels in Omak. They have a pool. They have a hot tub and their rooms are clean and bright. This is the first time I've actually been to this hotel and was pleasantly surprised.They have shampoo, cream rinse and also a great bar of body soap. Hands down one of the best places to be. I give it a 10 all the way around the board. Continental breakfast was excellent. After Service at the front desk was excellent. Again. Hands down one of the best places in this area to go to. This is definitely not the place you select as a "first choice" for a night stay, but it's better than nothing. Could be worse. After striking out at multiple hotels late one night, we found ourselves at the Omak Inn. Staff isn't rude but not entirely friendly or helpful. The rooms definitely aren't very clean. Spattering of unknown substance can be found on walls. Random hair, dust, and bits of rubbish on the floors. The furniture has seen better days. The towels are obviously stained, but hopefully laundered. :/ I wasn't planning to sleep under the covers, but my partner was optimistic. I couldn't tell how clean it was, but didn't smell funny. The television offers only a portion of viewable programming because of an info frame which we couldn't remove. The remote was only 50% functional. The Keurig machine isn't very often cleaned. Morning breakfast consists of a few cold and hot options. Nothing notable. read more

Room was clean but needed a deep cleansing. Many small maintenance issues were noticeable. Wifi barely worked. Password was printed on small paper and lost in keycard envelope so we had to ask staff for it. TV screen stuck on a small window and only enlarges if you press the mute button. Known issue from staff but not mentioned. Remote only works partially with the TV. Pool, hot tub and workout area closed long term. Breakfast featured all premade items. It consisted mostly of plain Biscuits and Gravy, waffles, toast, cereal and yogurts. They had a few boiled eggs Saturday but no more the rest of the time. There were small portioned cups of canned fruit cocktail and individually wrapped convenience store donuts (small) too. Almost nothing I could eat (Celiac) unfortunately. Staff was extremely kind and helpful even though short handed, location was excellent and a literal stones throw from a decent Mexican restaurant. Hotel was fully booked and surprisingly quiet with no disturbances. With pool area fixed and some small repairs/ food additions this would be a great place to stay. We decided to stay at Omak Inn because it was a good deal. The rooms were clean and staff friendly. If you're just looking for a place to lay your head this will work. However the pool was the highlight of the trip for my daughter and that's where the problem came. The pool was closed but the hot tub open - however the chemicals were off in the pool so bad that the entire room smelled like rotten eggs. So unfortunately after one night we checked out despite reserving two nights and moved to a slightly more expensive hotel nearby. However the staff was friendly and understanding. I agree with other reviews about breakfast - they had cereal, waffles, biscuits and sausage, yogurt, fruit and tastey pastries. It definitely met our expectations. read more

This place is a joke!!! The internet is joke. The room smells like baby powder like they are trying to hide the stench of the place. I come here for work and I have to stay in Omak a few nights a month and I won't be staying here ever again. The bed is a rock and damn near touching the floor. It was my fault for not booking my room at the best western sooner. The staff at the front counter was a rude troll!!! No help fixing my problem connecting to their "free WiFi" and if u want to connect a hdmi to the tv u have to go ask for a different remote cuz the one they give u can barely turn on the tv wtf this is 2018 I should be able to hook my ps4 up to your tv and watch what I want.save your self the trouble and stay somewhere else!!!! read more

This may be the worst motel I have ever stayed at ever! The staff is rude and have no concern for the guests. Completely unprofessional with a dog at the front desk. The night shift clerk acted like we're doing him a favor by staying at this motel. The pool had been made unusable due to the roof had collapsed. No discount offered since the pool was unusable. Breakfast advertised as hot breakfast was basically waffle and or biscuits with gravy. The staff did not have hard boiled eggs available so I asked if they had more that they could place in the refrigerator. The clerk said he was not qualified to replenish the eggs as he blew his nose. The business center was available to confirm reservations however I asked the clerk for printing paper but was told that he normally charges for paper but was gracious and gave me four 4 sheets. The staff were mostly helpful and hospitable, yet if you sleep in and don't vacate your room by 1:00 pm, your room will not be cleaned without making a fuss at the front desk! Adrian who works night shift is an awesome employee who is excellent at thinking "on his feet" solving problems to make guests feel that he really cares about their comfort and happiness! The infrastructure is outdated with stained carpets in and out of the rooms, leaky and stiff faucet for the in room sink. The toilet has what seems to be calcium ring stained, and the shower curtain is not good at preventing water from getting on floor! The continental breakfast, for the most part was excellent! For the most part, our stay was economical, and comfortable, and we would stay at The Omak Inn again, hoping that reviews such as this are taken seriously, and will help to improve the experience for future guests! read more

I reserved two rooms, preferably close to one another and to handicapped parking, with the stipulation that mine had to be on the ground floor. At 80, with health and mobility issues, my traveling companion has to assist with my luggage. When we checked in, hot and tired after a long day on the road, we were given rooms in different wings and on different floors. I asked for a map of the complex with room numbers, entrances, and handicapped parking spaces noted and was informed that none was available. Amazing! At first glance my ground floor room appeared spacious and inviting. Then I noticed the free standing, noisy, humidifier, the wide open window above the air conditioner set at 61 degees, the wasp on the inside of the screen (with dime size hole, and the recently vacuumed squishy wet carpet from the doorway to the mini-fridge. I called the front desk to complain and request a different room, expecting an apology, at the very least. I was disappointed, again. An hour later, when a warning light flashed on, announcing that the humidifier was full and needed to be emptied, I called again. Eventually, the person at the front desk showed up to empty the humidifier and help me move to another room. By then I was exhausted. Recommendations: 1. Improve communications between housekeeping and those handling reservations. 2. Provide campus maps, if requested, at checkin. 3. Include customer relations in staff training. read more

We had a great weekend then we checked out and drove down the road about 1.5 hours and realized we forgot our pillows we had brought from home. We immediately called the hotel and were told our room had been cleaned and nothing was brought down but they would go check and NOTHING! Our pillows weigh about 5 pounds each and they were in Green bamboo pillowcases!! They were very expensive Serta pillows. All the pillows on the bed were in white pillowcases and the comforter was white so they new they were left in the room. Shame on YOU! We will never stay here again! read more

If you're ever in Omak (so sorry if you are!) and need a place to stay, choose the Omak Inn over the Peppertree next door. The Omak Inn is a nice place with an indoor pool and hot tub for roughly $40 less per night. It may not be as new, but the staff are very friendly and the continental breakfast is not too bad. They even change the main entree each day. Great value overall! read more

We originally gave this hotel a 5 star review since the late night clerk was so polite and actually seems to care (thanks Bablu). However, due to the horrible female clerk with the pregnant belly and short bangs who showed up after him, we're changing our original 5 star to a 1 star review. She made a huge deal about getting some orange juice from the free continental breakfast room because breakfast had just ended. My husband and I were the first and only people in the breakfast room at 6am and it looked like we were probably the only people in there all morning; then when my husband went get some more orange juice at 10:30am she was blatantly rude and disrespectful saying we can't go in there after 10am after we just paid $70 and gave a 5 star review. This updated 1 star review is solely because of the unbelievable treatment, misbehaviour, and ugly attitude of that pregnant daytime clerk! She's also the reason we'll NEVER go back to Omak Inn and NEVER recommend this place to anyone. read more

I cannot, in good conscience, provide any stars for this establishment. I stayed with this establishment for two weeks, the list of poor service is long, but I will provide a few major transgressions here: 1) They checked me out w/o my knowledge because my bags were not in my room (my job requires me to relocate on short notice, but somebody from our crew always notifies the Inn we are at, and checks us out), 2) Due to a communication error, one of the Inn's managers entered a crew members room demanding that he vacate the room (the crew member was sleeping), 3) Twice that I was staying there (and I heard there were more instances) the "breakfast" was nonexistent, and at times,cold, 4) The employees that staffed the desk in the mornings, that I experienced, were young, inexperienced and seemingly could care less about our observations and requests for "breakfast," 5) Their wi-fi set up can keep you off of it (if you can get it in your room.) if there are too many people utilizing it. In this day and age this seems like a "No brainer." So in closing, I felt that some basic Inn keeper principles are being missed/ignored due to poor management. This is simply based on my experience and observations of said establishment. You may like it. It appears that I am forced to select at least one star. I do this under formal protest. read more

Customer service was horrible, a young lady with blond hair was very rude and was even trying to tell us we had to give an email cause it was the law..Etc Who wears a raider shirt that looks old and dirty to work? Very clean well kept hotel. Quiet at night. Some furnishings a bit dated such as the CRT TV. Overall a very nice find at a reasonable price.

First the positives. The young girl on duty was great. Very polite and helpful. The rooms are quite large and the breakfast was standard but had a fair selection. The negatives, for me, outweighed the positives. The furniture was outdated, not comfortable, and worn. The halls and room STUNK! Obviously someone smoked in our room and this should of been addressed by the cleaning staff. The walls are very thin so I could hear sneezing and talking next door. I wish I would of spent the extra $10-20 and stayed at the best western. read more

A lot has changed since we stayed there 2 years ago. We switched hotels halfway through our stay this weekend. The carpets were stained, our room smelled like stale cigarettes and mold and then coming back after it being cleaned it smelled like the the septic exploded in there and it wasn't just a smelly bathroom. This is an older motel, but clean. We had a very helpful staff person assist with check in and no issues with breakfast. This is definitely a " you get what you pay for" place. The price is lower than most natuonal hotels, but it was fine for our 1 night stay. Our room had a small refrigerator & microwave. Bed was comfortable enough. Basically no complaints. read more

Diane, 11:30 a.m., November eleventh. Entering the town of Omak, one hour south of the Canadian border. I've never seen so many apple trees in my life. As W. C. Fields would say, I'd rather be here than Philadelphia. Thirty-four degrees on a definitely overcast day. Weatherman said snow. If you could get paid that kind of money for being wrong sixty percent of the time, it'd beat working. Mileage is seventy-nine thousand three hundred forty-five, gauge is on reserve, riding on fumes here, I've got to tank up when I get into town. Remind me to tell you how much that is. Lunch was, uh, five dollars and some change at a fruit stand that's on State Route 97. That was a bag of pink lady apples, cherry pie, and a cup of coffee. Damn good food. Diane, if you ever get up this way that cherry pie is worth a stop. Okay. Looks like I'll be meeting up with the, ah, Omak Inn. Shouldn't be too hard to remember that. It'll be at the north end of town. I guess we're going to grab some dinner at the Koala Street Grill. Eat whatever crawled down the railroad tracks off the mountain. When I finish there I'll be checking into that motel. I'm sure the sheriff would recommend that place as it's clean and reasonably priced. That's what I need, a clean place, reasonably priced. read more

My child and I stayed here for 2 days. We got a King bed room. The suite part of it was a nice addition. The carpet was nicely clean for my child to play around on, a 2 year old. The bed and the bathroom were nice and clean. Also having the fridge, microwave and coffee maker where awesome! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was I was disappointed in their breakfast selection. As I have a child with me, he needs some kind of protein to keep him full, bread doesnt cut it. So I was really disappointed when there werent any eggs(other than hard boiled) or some kind of meat either days. Other than that, they did have a good selection of other foods and drinks. And a big thank you to housekeeping for making our stay so welcoming and enjoyable. The second day we were there we went out visiting and when we came back carpet was vacuumed, towels were all replaced, amenities restocked, and more. I had only asked to have carpets vacuumed and trash dumped before we left. It was great to come back to a cleaner room than I was expecting :) Overall it was a great stay and very enjoyable at a good price! We will stay again when we come over to visit. We didnt go swimming in their pool but we looked in and it looked nicely kept and clean. Thank you from a grateful mom :) read more

Horrible service! Rooms and lobby smell like old ash trays. I was given a room that had not been cleaned and another room with un-made beds. When I asked for a new room I was treated poorly and was not give a room. I was never even greeted when I walked to the front desk. I also witnessed other customers treated poorly and disrespected. Stayed at the Omak Inn. Will never stay there again. The young blonde on a saturday day shift was very rude. Ni introductions. We were like scum to her. her name was Araya or something like that. She did not even know what to charge us & gave us three different prices going up each time & to take it or leave it. Our room was filthy with no towels. The carpet & bed spread were stained. Dust covered the area. When we asked for a refund, Araya refused. She refused to change our rooms & refused to give us towels. She informed us that she was not housekeeping & we would have to get towels from the. we saw the cart but no housekeeper. Then, we heard screaming & it was a blonde housekeeper with thick glasses yelling down the hall at no one. She told us we could have two towels only & was very rude. Then, there was a dark haired around 9 year old girl on a Hover board going up & down the halls with no parents in sight by herself. The next day, we had to print one form off. The same little girl was at the customer service for over 2 hours as we kept checking every 15 minutes. Again, no adult in sight. When we finally had the computer, there was no paper. Araya again refused to get us any paper while sitting behind the reception area flicking her hair. When we checked out, we asked to see the manager. Araya said she could not be contracted on the weekend & she did not have her number. When we asked to speak with the owner. She told us even though they lived in the hotel, they could not be bothered. We attempted several times when we arrived home to call the manager. there was no way to leave a voice message. The 2nd time we called, there was a hang up. The 3rd time we called, someone answered but there was a baby crying loudly & another hang up. We will never again stay at the Omak Inn. It is old with broken down furniture. A very rude staff. We retired from the hotel business. & there would be firings. We would not even give this one star. read more
