Good food, painfully slow service. We ordered for pickup and they said 20 minutes. It ended up being 50 minutes. Anyway, the Greek salad was my favorite part of the meal, it was excellent. The lamb and lulya kebabs were very good. As for the plov, I've had better, I've had worse. The liver cubes were also okay, not great. Their salmon dish with white sauce was very good too. Satisfying and healthy. Tashkent salad was bland and not prepared in the usual style of this salad. I would skip this next time. Turkish Liver appetizer is tasty, delicate, and bursting with flavor. Recommend. Manti were spot on--delicate, thin dough, juicy meat. Would be back for this. Chebureki were on point--light, crispy dough and flavorful meat filling. I try to avoid chebureki because they are so fatty and oily, but I did not feel that with this presentation. Lulya kebab was juicy and tender--a winner out of all the meats that we ordered. Very salty. Lamb kebabs were our least favorite--the meat was dry. Very salty. Lamb back kebab was juicier, so if you're looking for a good cut of meat, this would be your pick. Very salty, still. Place is pretty small and extremely packed. We went there on Sunday afternoon and luckily had a table right away. Service was fantastic, servers were always available and very courteous. Most importantly food was super great. For appetizers we ordered beef tongue with radish, it was excellent and very fresh. Turkish style liver cubes were excellent as well. Crunchy and juicy and nice sized portion. For entrees, we order potato dumplings very good, lamb shanks super good and beef tails were superb, not many places know how to make them but at Omar Khayyam they nailed it. We were invited here so we can't speak on the prices. We also don't speak the language and the person who invited us was communicating with the staff in their native tongue so we can speak on the service. However, the food came out quick and it was yummy. The pilaf's portion was smaller than I've had in other places. But the samsa was pretty big compared to other places. The Greek salad had pastrami crisps on the top which threw me off, I've never seen that before. The place is small and packed tightly so it can be difficult to move around. P.S. She messed up my order and it is ok I would not take my time to sit and write a review if she wasn't so nasty about it when I called. Instead of just apologizing that she misunderstood or that they were busy, she started to accuse me, that I did not order Pelmeni and they do not have it in their menu, (they do have it and she confirmed when I asked if they have) when she recalls me asking about it and going over the order with her. She didn't give me total of the order because she was busy, she said it will be ready in 20 mins when we waited almost 50 mins. Not a place for Muslims with Hijab. I went with my wife and daughter to this restaurant. they asked us to wait for a table. I waited long. Some other people came after and waited too. they let others enter. I asked why. they said just wait. eventually many people kept going before us and the waiter didn't let My Hijabi wife and I to enter. My husband asked this restaurant to reserve a table for 6, but "nooo" they do not do reservations, and they asked us to just come by and they had a table for 6. It was a lie.
