We stopped by this place earlier today to pick up lunch. The staff were helpful with suggestions for food selection. I ordered a mix of chicken adana and shish kebab platter with rice and Sheppard salad, hummus with Turkish bread, rice pudding, and tres leches. Everything together costed $55.25, a little pricey but the quantity was good. I had a cup of black tea while I waited for my food. It took about 10-15 minutes for my order to be fulfilled which was not bad. The food was good especially the desserts. They made a mistake with my salad order so I called them about it. They said they will give me store credit which I accepted. I appreciated that. The ambiance was nice. The restaurant was clean and air conditioned. The staff were friendly. I'm looking forward to trying other dishes next time we're in town. read more

Update made 04/19/2026 A true neighborhood gem! If you decide to dine in, the space is clean, welcoming, and the staff is genuinely warm and accommodating -- but the real star here is the food. This is authentic Turkish cuisine done right. We ordered right before closing, fully expecting a rushed experience -- and instead, I was pleasantly surprised. They included complimentary Turkish bread, and I honestly could not believe how fresh it tasted. Warm, soft, fragrant -- as if it had just come out of a real oven minutes earlier. Not your typical pita -- something much better. I'm not even a big bread person, but this was exceptional. Paired with the labneh (for those who don't know, it's a thick, creamy strained yogurt spread creamy, perfectly seasoned, with crushed walnuts, a hint of garlic, and just the right drizzle of oil) -- it was truly a match made in heaven. Rich, balanced, and incredibly satisfying. They also included complimentary sauces -- a fresh, yogurt-based one (similar to tzatziki) and a bold, spicy red sauce -- both delicious and clearly made with care. And of course, we had to order the calf liver -- one of our favorite Turkish dishes. It was outstanding: tender, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully seasoned. Easily a 10/10. Now, one IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THE MANAGEMENT -- and I'm saying this with full respect because your food absolutely deserves it: Please consider improving the takeout packaging. We ordered a bowl that included both hot and cold components -- all delicious individually -- but everything was placed together without separation. The cold shepherd salad (which was excellent and generously dressed), baba ganoush, feta, and avocado were placed directly on top of hot lamb gyro and fries. As a result, the fries lost their texture, and it made it difficult to properly enjoy or reheat the leftovers. With the quality of food you're serving, this is an easy fix that would elevate the entire experience. Wow - I give 5 stars. Hidden Gem Alert for sure. lol. This is my second time eating food from here. The first time I picked it up in person and it was so clean and nice inside. Items to try: The falafel is fresh and green inside soft and so nice. Definitely my favorite. The chicken Kebob sandwich is everything highly recommend. The Turkish bread is super fresh and soft. Before you come here, consider the fact the salad comes very onion forward. I did not know this and paid the price, as the food later ran through me like the nearby F train passing over Neptune Avenue en route to Manhattan or Stillwell Ave. The Mixed Grill is truly what any person new to this restaurant should try when they come in. It is a great mix of a lot of meats they offer. The entree is $32 and comes with bread, rice, and a salad. All the meats taste fresh and delicious though some of the meat could use a little more time being cooked. I get it though. This is not meat you overcook. If you do, it will taste tough, rubbery, and dry. The service was friendly and the food does come out quick. Three days ago I placed a food order from this place where I have ordered many times before. As always, we chose the dishes we like. When I reached the payment step and entered my card information, I received an error message saying there was a problem and to try again later. So I selected the items again and completed the payment. Shortly after that, I received confirmation that the order was accepted and that it would be delivered. However, when the delivery driver arrived, he brought two identical orders. Luckily, we were able to share one of the orders with others, and overall we really like the way the food is prepared. It is always fresh, and we appreciate the work of everyone involved. Thank you for that. I only have one question. When someone noticed that there were two orders placed for the same day, the same time, and the same address, didn't it raise the question that it might have been a simple human mistake? Perhaps a quick phone call to confirm the order could have clarified the situation. This is not really about the $750 spent on the food. In my opinion, it is about kindness and the way customers are treated. I understand that nobody is free from mistakes and people have the right to make them. I went here again on August 4th. The food was once again overly salty. The sever was slow with the place being empty. My bill price was different from what the menu had showed. There is no difference in the amazingly delicious food served here since the move from Coney Island avenue. Had the best meal last night . A beautiful Bronzino dinner for my husband and the tenderest lady shish ka bob for myself. The service was top notch and so friendly. This restuarant just opened up and the appetizers are really delicious, which included the Sheppard salad, Humous with Falafel balls and cheese sticks.
