Does great, timely and excellent work. Pricing seems a bit high, but not really considering the quality and care that he puts into the work.

Do Not Hire - Disrespect, Poor Workmanship, and Broken Promises…read more We hired Fireplace Solutions and Services for a $37,000 fireplace remodel, and the experience was extremely disappointing. Although, in general, the fireplace does look good from afar, as you get closer anyone will notice the inconsistency and lack of workmanship. Especially for a project at this price point. Note: We did use very large format tile (4'x9') but this was communicated to their whole team multiple times. The project finished on time (2 weeks) but was clearly rushed. Our biggest complaint was about the hearth installation. It was the last thing to get done and was rushed leaving uneven and chipped tiles, untooled caulk between the floor and tile, grout haze, and some other minor items. Also, I raised concerns about the original thermostat placement three different times and was told it wouldn't be an issue. It now reads 16 degrees higher than the rest of the room. Although it was moved when they came back that day - see below - it has left a drywall patch that I now need to take care of. The owner (Steve) initially seemed helpful and agreed that all the issues needed fixing. A crew came back but spent just 2 hours doing cosmetic cover-ups. They left a bad drywall patch, didn't recaulk, and left even more grout hazed than the first time. When I followed up, the owner (Steve) completely changed his tone. On the phone, he told me "All you guys do is keep b***hing" and called my wife and I ungrateful. Since then, he's ignored all my calls and texts. I've only asked for partial reimbursement for the bad drywall patch and damaged hardwood floor -- and have heard nothing back. (They damaged the floor by dropping a tile). Now I am left covering these costs and possibly redoing the entire hearth at my own cost. This company showed total disrespect, dishonesty, and poor workmanship for us as clients. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

SRG…read moreHardscapes then installed an attractive, terraced retaining wall to manage the slope from the house down to the sidewalk. The work was done quickly and efficiently even in this summer's blistering heat. In just three days, the yard went from dirt to beautiful, tiered flagstone walls. The quality of this team's work is excellent. Sergio, the owner, provided a complete written quote that outlined the pertinent details and was supported with AI generated images of the "after" look, which confirmed that we were on the same page regarding the design. Once underway, the job progressed quickly and smoothly. (We're doing the planting, which is in progress.) Would we turn the SRG Hardscaping again should we need stone or brick work in the future? Absolutely.

The final result came out absolutely stunning and better than we could have imagined. What really stood out was their communication. Out of the 12 contractors we interviewed, they were by far the most responsive, professional, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Their quote was right in line and there were no surprises along the way. If you are looking for someone to build you a beautiful retaining wall and deliver great work while keeping you informed every step of the way, I cannot recommend them enough.

He explained what was being cleaned and why, and also walked through the minor repairs that he did on the roof. This transparency was very appreciated and helped me understand what was going on. Our household also has several pets and RJ was very considerate of them during the cleaning, going the extra mile to make sure what he was doing wouldn't upset them. For the value of the cleaning service, I am very happy! Also want to ensure that RJ is recognized for both his customer service and for his professionalism during the cleaning process!

I got up on my roof and saw some cracks in the crown that I had sealed with calk years ago and they had expanded over the years. Rick and his son came out and told me the crown needed to be redone but it needed to be done when it warmed up. I asked if he could but some sealer in the cracks so they didn't get worse over the winter. Which they did. They came back the middle of May and repaired the crown. I also had him look at where the water was leaking from in the basement because I wanted to know if I should have him reseal the cap on the bottom of the blocked off flue. He said with the new crown there shouldn't be an issue with it. He could have easily said I should reseal it so he could make a little more money. But he has the kind of integrity you don't find very often anymore. I would recommend him to anyone who needs anything for there fireplace.
