    The best cuppacino ever!
    Joan M.

The food looked great but had no taste. Eggs none, omelet none, Eggs Florentine-only the spinache tasted good beacuse it was fresh. Hollendaise sauce had zero taste?????????????? However, the cuppacino was the best I ever tasted!

It's kind of a 3 and 1/2 . I ordered my favorite salad- strawberry fields to go. The strawberries, lettuce, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, romaine lettuce all fresh and beautiful. The " toasted almonds" were all literally burned black, half to fully black. And because they were so badly burned, they were bitter. Ruined the entire salad. Because I usually enjoy this restaurant, I wanted to give it a 4, but those bitter burned almonds in every mouthful changed my mind. Will I go again? Yes. Will I order same salad again? Yes. Hopefully this was a one time occurrence

A classic diner with great breakfast options served in an expedited fashion. We were seated in a booth and the seats were comfy. The order was taken, cuisine delivered to be savored. The staff walked around to refill coffee and hot water.

I come here often, there is some consistency with the food, but overall it's okay. Service is fast when I come after 10am

Food was good. Waitresses was nice but not really knowledgeable on food choices. I had the vegetable omelette and home fries

Delicious breakfast platter with great home fries. The omelette was a bit salty but the pancake was delicious and decadent. Fast service and a very nostalgic atmosphere.

I have a thousand reasons spanning over 50 years and a few owns why Omega is my standard for American Diners from I judge all other diners. I've been eating here since the early 1970's with family, friends, and by myself. Many magical moments happened and throughout it all, the food, the staff, the atmosphere have always been like home. I decided to share this experience with my brother's best friend. Remember my brother passed on Labor Day. Since then his best friend I have been meeting every weekend for lunch or brunch in a number of spots he and my brother frequented, like The Great Neck Diner. Today I decided to go Greek. I got the Spinach Pie special with comes with a wonderful Greek salad and soup. Both were flavorful, Rich and had creamy sauce. Several hours later I can still taste the buttery blend. I finished with a recommended Neapolitan desert. Wow. I had to get directions how to approach it and it was amazing. If it's the Omega in new Hyde park or any Greek family diner, I strongly recommend exploring the family recipes the American Dine may offer.

Glass half full, Chocolate Egg Cream. Delicious.

Quick dinner visit at Omega, party of 3. Food was good: Chocolate Egg Cream, Cheese Blintzes with Blueberries, triple decker egg salad and bacon sandwich, Coffee, Belgian Waffle. Service was ok, the waiter was not friendly. NYC Diner, noise was moderate, we were able to finish watching the game.

Wanted vegan options and I find that they don't offer that. Service was way under par. I had to do a lot of waiting for my waitress to bring more stuff and she took her time . The ambiance was dimly light, this facility was in very crowded today and rather loud. My burger was OKAY, just plain and ordinary, nothing to write home about.

After visiting for brunch today, I'm excited to be able to update my review with a full five stars…read more- Swing the Teapot is officially one of my local favorites! I had the tea experience with Black Velvet and it was just what I needed. I'll admit that the licorice and peppermint were very faint, but it was still a tasty tea and sharing a large pot with my partner, we finished the whole thing. My MIL loved her ginger peach tea, and my friends each enjoyed theirs, one getting his go-to peppermint and the other trying the red raspberry and remarking in how pleased she was with her choice. Lesson learned- if you come here and DON'T get tea (with the adorable teapot, teacup and saucer, all charmingly mismatched) you're doing it wrong. Because I'm weird, I just ordered the Irish soda bread with a dish of whipped cream as a "light" breakfast, and I appreciated that the server humored me to the fullest. My partner had a blueberry muffin that he was super pleased with, probably his favorite that he's found in the area so far. My MIL unabashedly devoured her chicken salad sandwich and the potato salad it came with - usually she's picky so that's quite the endorsement. The avocado toast and burger that my friends ordered all looked fantastic too. Great service, delicious food and tea, and very good prices- next visit will be for the live music!

The teas were served in actual tea pots and cups. Food was pretty good overall, my daughter loved the pancakes, which has been the go-to order. Service is a hit or miss depending on the time of day. The first time we went was on early in the morning before noon so it was not busy. My husband ordered the Irish Breakfast, which was very comforting and filling. I ordered the fish and chips, which were pretty good. I took the leftovers home. The price for the dining experience was very reasonable. The most recent time we went was around lunch time and it was buzzing. We were lucky that we got seated but service definitely suffered this time around. For this dining experience we ordered the pancakes from the adult menu. My husband ordered the Shepherd's Pie and I had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. We took the leftover pancakes home as we devoured the Shepherd's Pie and Eggs Benedict. I'd definitely go back one day to experience dining with a live band.

Its a strange black and white stripe decor. The chairs are comfortable. The tables is a tad too high and wobbly. Food, service and ambiance not on par with prices charged. It doesn't warrant a repeat visit even if the prices were lowered. Its missing a chef with a passion to make tasty food. The serving staff needs a better understanding of the menu and what is being served. (Maybe Encourage the staff to eat the food so they can communicate to the customers better or give feedback to the cook about the food quality.)

Crabtree 's did not disappoint. From the welcoming greeting, by professional restaurant staff, and not bored teenagers, to the impeccable service and food, our experience here was a pure delight. My partner had the lobster and shrimp pasta dish and was just as happy. I am a very finicky restaurant diner. I could not recommend this place more. While waiting at the bar for a friend to arrive, I was swarmed by fruit flies, which should have been my first warning sign. The pours at the bar were skimpy, but I tried to shake it off once we got our table. The service there was actually friendly, and our server proudly told us the duck was a top seller, so we ordered it along with a salad and a fish dish. Most of what came out of the kitchen was diner quality at best--nothing special, but not offensive. The duck, however, was a disaster. It tasted old and stale, like it had been sitting in a freezer for months before being rushed through a fryer. The meat was fried to a dry, brittle crisp, and the only flavor came from a cloying sweet duck sauce slapped on top. No richness, no tenderness, no redeeming qualities. We absolutely hated our meal and the entire time we spent there. I can't recommend this place to anyone who actually cares about what they eat.
