Chick pea salad. Tomato rice soup

CASH ONLY!! Wow! Instead of only having a Wear A Mask sign on the door, how about one that says We're a CASH ONLY deli? Finding out at checkout is weird. On a better note, this place is good The turkey is better than at other delis in the area. I tried the tomato rice soup and chick pea salad. Both were good. There's a wall of drinks and chips. Huge selection. Lots of sandwich specials. Seemed like it was filled with regulars. Its a good Manhasset deli when in the area.

Clean, friendly, and delicious! Fresh sandwiches and big flavors! Make sure you swing by- you won't regret it!

Black and white and red (and eaten) all over (Manhasset).

"Manhasset Deli is better than Orlando's" said the masses. I've heard it many times, but never ventured further down Plandome to give it a shot. And then I found myself without lunch this past Thursday and thought, why not? Well, I wasn't too impressed. The inside feels like an old world deli, or at least something from the 1940's or 50's with brown tiling and finish. The little shelves of knickknacks on the back wall by the registers adds to it and in turn, this added to my already high expectations as I figured a classic spot would have some quality grub. The jury is out on that. They're selling a lot of food here with their rows of freezers, salads, hot stuff, and beer? Cool. But on that chilly day I wanted a warm sandwich to heat me up. There was a menu of specials, but nothing sandwich-oriented. The employee was friendly in helping me figure out what to get. He suggested chicken cutlet, pepper jack cheese, and Cajun mayo on a hero. Simple enough. It was a decently-sized sandwich though came in at almost $10. I brought it back to work and took my first bite. The chicken, albeit better than Orlando's, was tough and somewhat dry. The cheese was a nice gooey addition and the mayo brought me the heat/warmth I was looking for, but should a sauce be what's remembered on such a simple sandwich? I think not. Overall, Manhasset Deli didn't live up to all the hype. Maybe it was what I ordered. Maybe I need a return trip to sample other items and specials. Im down, but it won't happen until I have another reason to go, and it won't be my first choice. For now, Orlando's wins out.

I was looking for a Italian shop where I could get a slice. It had been a while since I was in that area and 'think' Delicacies took over that spot. There is ample searting here too and I think more people were taking out food than sitting We were well greeted as we walked in to the "Sushi Section," and walked through the gateway in to the main deli area. The store is long and narrow with plenty of stations of foods. Honestly, there was some good looking food here. I was with my friend who ordered a simple turkey sandwich while I wound up with just a bagel and cream cheese. It was almost sinful looking at all the great food around us. The team here is wonderful and everyone is clearly focused on their customer's experience. Looking forward to going back soon and trying some of their delicious looking food.

I wasn't sure where/what to order as it was kinda not organized very well, so I walked to the register in the back of the store and ordered. There was a bit of a wait and the place is just not set up for standing near the counter waiting for your bagel. The bagel was excellent (as it should be in NY) and I'd probably stop in again if I was staying nearby.

I really enjoyed the Town Dock which had roast beef, pastrami, salami, and melted provolone cheese. I got it with the Russian dressing. It was a great combination of flavors, and it really hit the spot! My wife likes cold sandwiches and she got the Viking with the variety of cold cuts, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. I tried a couple bites and liked it as well. we also tried the homemade iced tea, which was good. The staff was very friendly, and made the sandwiches very quickly. They also have three tables in the front where you can eat. You get a very homey feel from this deli. Definitely recommended!

I don't live in Port Washington but have no problem driving the extra 20 - 30 minutes two towns over to get my family's breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The food is excellent and still very affordable. Walter & staff are very friendliness and are on a first name basis with most of their customers. Conveniently located on Port Washington Blvd, which at times can be very busy, but there is parking in the back and street parking is also available.
