To me this is nothing special. I was hoping it was since it's more local for me. Prices seem high for what you get You have to pay an extra dollar to get potatoes instead of grits ... even waffle House has that figured out that there's no difference. We recently moved to Bluffton from CA. Out looking for breakfast we saw Omelette Cafe and decided to give it a try. We have returned on a regular basis. The breakfasts have large portions, the quality is very good and the kitchen turns orders around very quickly. We live the service, the young ladies serving are very helpful, very friendly and fun to talk with. I definitely recommend Omelette Cafe for breakfast and lunch. They have a killer Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. read more

Food is not bad but there is absolutely no ambience to the place. It is cold, literally and figuratively.

The staff was great and attentive with great service. However they have just opened and there is a lot of staff. The food was hot but some of it was not good. Selection is limited in my opinion and having to add sides. So I ordered the "Big Breakfast" and it was a little odd. It comes with 3 eggs, 3 bacon, 2 sausage patties, grits and 2 pancakes. The scrambled eggs were extremely scrambled into small kernels, the bacon was as wide as a shoelace, the sausage didn't have any flavor, the grits was served on the plate next to the eggs and ran over half the plate into the eggs. Now the Pancakes were big and fluffy. They were the star of the meal and would comeback if I was just wanting pancakes. The coffee is good and hot. Hash browns would be better than the grits if they have them. I gave this place 3 stars because of the staff and it's new. I am hoping the catch up with the other places around with a more full menu. Total for the "Big Breakfast" with a coffee and water was $14.87. read more

This place should not even get one star... if you like lots of inflammation, this is the place! Every single food item that I had was dripping with butter and oil. My toast even came out dripping with butter. The omelette was so saturated with butter that it made the entire omelette wilted. You cannot even taste the food! No restaurant should be using the amount of butter that they used. The quality of the food is along the same lines as Waffle House, but Waffle House May even use less butter than this place did. I never leave negative reviews, but this sure deserves it. Will never go back! read more

I have eaten here a few times and one thing I've noticed is the cook staff is RUDE! The head cook Diego (I was told his name) refused to remake my BURNED Belgian waffle for what reason I'm not sure my waitress had to ask him three times! Ridiculous. I won't be dining here again. If food isn't up to standard you should be able to send it back without issue. I gave two stars because the wait staff is always polite and professional. read more

I tried this place for the first time today. Orders two breakfast plate to go with bacon and sausage in each plate two orders of pancakes and raisin toast.. wen home a breakfast was missing bacon only in the one I got . Small amount of egg . Went 6 miles back to complain the same girl I gave the order to said oh I thought you said? No I didn't I told her I told you exactly what I wanted . Plus the receipt is not itemized so I don't know if I paid for what I didn't get or not. She really did the order cost me another 9 bucks in change. I said everything there now? She said yes. Guess what? I got home still missing food... This was the first and last time I go to this place ! Then at the end the girl gives me a dirty look like I did something wrong ? Very bad service in my opinion! Wasted money wasted gas ! Ended up eating a cold breakfast that in my opinion wasn't worth it ! read more

Loved it. Been there twice this week. Omelette was terrific. Lots of filling. Next trip did blueberry pancakes. Fabulous. Three were too many, as they are big and fluffy. Coffee was good too. breakfast on 9/17/19. my western and my wife's spinach omelets were both tasty enough to get 3 stars but.. we substituted rye for wheat =$1.00 , hashbrowns or tomatoes for grits= $1.00 each. Swiss cheese on the omelet tasted strange. the omeletts are made with only 2 eggs and are so thin they look more like a crape. coffee was good. they won't give you hashbrowns or rye toast but they will put broccoli in for free; like that's normal. ? because this is the closest restaurant to our house we really wanted it to be better. we will go back and try lunch. for being an omelet house they badly miss the mark. total cost $24.00. value = $18. next stop the bacon diner. read more

I was excited to see a new breakfast place near me. Unfortunately I do not recommend eating here. The food was awful. Silverware was dirty. Their was a leak in the ceiling. The appearance of my food was unappetizing. The slab of craft cheese on my grits made it even worse. And the environment of the place is so uninviting. For an omelette place, they probably made the worse omelette I've ever had. The only good thing was the staff. They were friendly. read more

It's a shame! Wanted to give it try with my fiancé, we were told to seat anywhere but, had to sit on the same side for " social distancing" from the other tables. we waited at least 5 mins before we pulled a server asking for menus. A large party of 6+ were not only seen before us with a server but menus and all were given long before us. Now I'm not one to complain especially since I am in Food and beverage myself but that is ridiculous. 5 mins people walking by us and nothing, I would have been fine if we had gotten a hello from someone so we know we are seen. Wear earmuffs if going to Omelette Café in Bluffton! The noise level is deafening, so that my husband and I couldn't even talk to each other at the table. Before entering the café, we noticed the grass was about 6 inches high, with weeds plentiful. What a first impression! While the staff was attentive, and the food service was quick, the presentation of my House Omelette was very sad...just plopped on the plate with cheese oozing out of it, and no seasoning at all. I don't understand the extra charge if you want to order something other than white, wheat or raisin toast. For instance, if I wanted to order rye toast it's .75 extra! Really? Or, if you want hash browns instead of grits it's $1.00 extra. Are you kidding? I know they recently opened, but they have a long way to go before they get our business again. read more

I work at a cafe called "Another Broken Egg" located on Hilton Head Island. Out of curiosity I decided to give this new cafe a chance. Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly welcome and shortly greeted by our server. The service was great, continuously checked in on us. The food was the prime factor however. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak omelette, this was the perfect selection for lunch, which we were having at the time.
