As we walked in, it wasn't too busy, we got a table right away. The interior looked super pretty with brick wall background, tables and booths for dining indoor. They had outdoor seating available too. The menu had lots of interesting Mediterranean dishes. We started with the grilled octopus that had delicious seasoning with mix of olive oil and red wine vinegar. The complimentary bread was fluffy, accompanied perfectly with the octopus. The branzino was a flavorful filet, well cooked. The side of spinach was well made too. I loved the lamb kokinisto (from specials menu). The meat was so tender and the sauce was incredible. I just kept taking bites and eventually finished the whole bowl. At the end I took the rice pudding to go and loved the taste of it. Our server Stephen was super nice, paid full attention to all his tables. He told us about the specials of the day from which I actually found out about lamb kokinisto. The appetizers came out quickly but the entree took some time since we had ordered branzino and lamb. They add 3% surcharge for credit card, so take cash if you want to avoid the extra fee. But overall a solid place to enjoy excellent Mediterranean food.

Bronzino has strong lemony taste. But it was cook nicely. Skin crispy and juicy inside. I probably didn't have to squeeze more lemon on it. Grilled octopus was good. I wish the portion was bigger. Love the flavor. Lamb Kokinisto was soft and easy to pull apart. Overall it's a solid place for me.

Service was great and wonderful, the young lady always checked up to make sure everything was great. Food was so tasty & had flavor to it! I had ordered octopus with hummus, it was very well cooked & I had to have pita on the side. I also ordered shish kebab filet mignon & as well very well cooked, not overcooked or dry at all. The rice was plain, which was okay for me. The onions definitely made up for it to combine it together. To top it off I also got fried calamari, it was a little bit chewy overall still had flavor to it. My go to drink was a mint lemonade that they make it into a slushie. I never had a mint lemonade so the taste to the drink was new to me but I loved it! You could bring your own liquor becusse they do not sell that. Overall amazing place for a quick lunch or dinner!

The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the menu had great options across the board. Food-wise, I have zero complaint everything was flavorful and well prepared. A special shout-out to Rola, the owner, who personally came out to check on us and make sure everything was going well, which really shows how much care goes into the experience. It's also BYOB, which is a nice bonus and makes the night even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting again for great Mediterranean food, a fun vibe, and an energetic atmosphere.

One section is garden inspired and the other section has more of a club feel. Our waiter was friendly and provided great recommendations. One of my friends really enjoyed the beef soup, the cucumber salad was pretty much sliced cucumbers, the yogurt dip was fresh and tasty, and the Bulgarian salad was a hit with great pieces of feta. The Deja Vu grilled platter for two was outstanding! So much delicious variety of meats! We added a skirt steak that my friend wanted, plus the pork and beef patties in Marsala sauce, and the white bean casserole. The bean and Marsala dishes were excellent! It was a struggle but we finished all of the meat! Definitely look forward to returning!

The food is a tasty tapestry of fresh ingredients, traditional cooking techniques, and bold spices. Its specialties are as diverse and distinctive as the cultures of the 18 countries it comprises. Located off of Route 46 West in Elmwood Park, King Falafel is where I decided on takeout after a 5-year hiatus. Upon arrival at a laid-back, clean, and casual vibe before the lunch crowd, I placed an order of falafel and Greek salad with the friendly chef/owner, Sami, and exchanged a few words. Their menu offers a wide range with options for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free. The falafel was crispy, not dry, well-seasoned, and served hot with sides of tahini and spicy sauce. The portions were huge and very tasty. The Greek salad was made to order without onions and green peppers. It was large enough for a second meal. The quality and care the kitchen puts into each dish truly set them apart, and it's authentic. The service was quick and accommodating. The price was reasonable, and one is getting every penny's worth, which I can continue to recommend.

It's also a hooka joint and we assume very popular as when we arrived at 2:30 we were asked if we had a reservation in an empty restaurant with at least 80 plus seats. Staff was inattentive and served water in a plastic Poland Springs bottle, no ice no glass. My wife had the Kebab Khash Khash. Sounded great it was mediocre. The Kebab was served over a ragu sauce, literally tasted like bottled pizza sauce. The rice pilaf was uncle Ben's. Not jasmine or traditional basmati. The kebab was good but the complete dis was disappointing. I had the grilled salmon. Same rice and a little sliced onions. Salmon was very good. We felt like they accommodated us but needed us to get out before their regular customers showed up. Fine we were happy to drop $80 on two mediocre meals, a bottle of water and an unsweetened iced tea. Toros can be difficult to get in but it's a true Turkish restaurant with real Turkish cuisine and beverages served without asking like hot tea or pita and hummus. This joint didn't ask if we wanted coffee. We came here to beat the crowded Toros for a change. The place must be trendy as it is impeccably decorated. Back to Toros.
