Really nice hotel! Comfy beds, clean, atmospheric. My only complaint is no coffee or free breakfast, but they don't say there is either. Free parking, nice fruit water, and very quiet. We would stay again and we are some picky mo fos

We had the pleasure of coming to the Omni hotel for an event. We did not stay at the hotel as guests, however, I want to give a shout out to everyone that worked with us during the event. Sara and her team who helped us during the event were just awesome. They were helpful, answered questions, no matter how much we bothered them, and really made the event so much more easy because they were there for us when we needed them. Thanks for everything!

Loved this hotel!!! As others stated, it is undergoing a renovation but we too chose to stay here due to the close proximity to the downtown mall and some of the restaurants we wanted to visit. We stayed here for our anniversary, which I noted in our booking. Omni's Guest Experience Manager Meagen left an amazing surprise in our room- a bottle of sparkling wine, cupcakes, and a sweet note. It was so thoughtful! You will never forget those who go above and beyond like this for you. We love the close proximity to the downtown mall and our favorites- Jack Brown's, book stores, a wine store, and a new movie theater right next door! The hotel's renovations will surely be impressive. That being said, we did not experience any of the construction noise. We enjoyed the amenities in the room and felt comfortable. I loved the new decor and style in the room! Note: we were in a rush when we got into our room, so pictures were taken right before we checked out. The room was clean and everything put away perfectly when we got there, I tried to do my best to clean up for pictures before we left! Thank you Omni Charlottesville- we hope we will be back very soon!

I had always wanted to stay in this hotel during the Christmas season, and I finally got my chance! First of all, their customer service representatives are great over the phone. I ended up having to reschedule last minute, and they were super accommodating and helpful. With my rescheduling, I also opted to bring my whole family (two little ones) and upgrade to a suite for about $150ish more. Sweet deal, I'm glad I did! The extra room had a whole other bathroom, TV, pull out couch, and refrigerator. It was a great place to hang after the kids were asleep. It came with a small folding crib too, but it looked kind of old, so we went with our pack n play. The furniture and decor was a little outdated, but it was still charming. We liked our view of the downtown mall and our proximity to all Charlottesville has to offer, including a super easy trolley stop that brought us to the Grounds of UVA for free. For the holiday season, they decorate the atrium and at one point, there was even a little holiday concert. When we checked in, they gave us little activity packs for the kids. My daughter was a big fan of their cucumber water in the lobby, too. Our favorite thing the hotel had to offer was the pool and hot tub. It was just so cozy on a cold day. The hot tub is on the upper level, the indoor (heated!) pool is on the lower level, and the seasonal outdoor pool is right outside some glass double doors. There's a gym, too, if you're one of those people who is into exercising on vacation ;) They have a little bar/ restaurant which was pretty quiet and low-key. Our stay came with a free drink that my husband happily partook in. I will say the parking situation is a little confusing. Parking is free, but it's also a lot where you might end up paying if you don't know that up-front. We ended up having difficulty getting out of the garage and needed to call for assistance. Overall, it might become a holiday classic in our family. We look forward to returning.

Great place to stay! Close to VU and Monticello. Rooms and amenities are great. Gym has weights and Peloton. Marissa in the cafe is great! Coffee, breakfast danishes and lunch are excellent. Staff is very professional and welcoming.

There's some construction going on but they kept it classy on the side we were staying on.

This hotel was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. My son and I stayed for a week with my small dog while here for children's hospital. They kept the rooms beyond clean. They were so helpful. And the pools and hot tub were fabulous.

Hotel is clean and decent, but there is some very loud construction going on all day and past 5pm. Would call ahead to ask if they are done drilling and grinding on the walls all day before booking.

Not family-friendly. No kids channels on the tv. No free wifi ($10 a day). Only perk to this very dated hotel was the location.

Valet parking was easy and stress-free, which always sets the tone. Jeffrey was incredibly polite and helpful on the phone when I called to update my reservation and add my status--small interaction, but it stood out. Check-in with J was smooth and efficient, and Alister greeted us with so much warmth and positivity. You could really feel that the team works well together and takes pride in what they do. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and modern, with a lovely view that made it even more enjoyable. The hotel feels very well managed overall--everything just runs the way it should. Location is another huge plus--right near UVA and central to everything you'd want while visiting Charlottesville. Without hesitation, this is the best place to stay in Charlottesville. Highly recommend and would absolutely return.

I had hoped that it would offer a high class experience, but it was just okay. The room had some minor aesthetic touches, but in substance was pretty standard. The entrance to the hotel felt a bit cramped, and the building seemed centered around the restaurant that didn't have much for me. The sheets caused some skin irritation, and I wish all hotels used the most hypoallergenic detergent available. From a service perspective, it was quite good. I was offered an early checkin and also took a late checkout, so I got a ton of time with the room. They also stored my luggage, including various baked goods, after I was done. So I got a lot of value out of the room. The question to me was how this hotel would compare to the others that are in downtown Charlottesville; would the experience be worth a bit more than the more standard Marriotts or various others. I was not convinced that it would be worth spending the extra money on.

I haven't stayed at many places that feel more like a five-star resort than this one. Driving up to the property felt like being in a car commercial, rolling hills, gorgeous scenery, and impeccable service waiting the moment we arrived. Check-in was seamless. We stayed in one of the rooms in the new wing, which was absolutely stunning. In 2017, the hotel completed a multi-year, $2 million renovation and expansion, and it shows in every detail. Our room overlooked the grounds and was part of the beautiful new addition. The room itself was spacious and elegant, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and a cozy nook perfect for reading or relaxing. The bathroom was equally luxurious and practically begged for a long shower. Waiting for us in the room was a handwritten note wishing us a wonderful mother-daughter trip, along with thoughtful gifts from the spa. Another nice touch: branded, reusable water bottles to use at the filling stations around the property. I loved this sustainability piece that doubles as a keepsake. During our stay, I walked the grounds, visited the spa, and toured the Southern Living Idea House which is on its ground, though honestly, this is the kind of hotel where simply staying on property feels like a vacation. Because we visited in winter, the pool was closed, but seeing it made me want to return in the spring. The fitness center was well appointed, the tennis court s and area were beautiful, and the championship golf course was gorgeous! I'm not a golfer, but I loved looking at this course from the mini windows and patios overlooking it! I'll share more about the spa in a separate review, but trust me, it is not to be missed. And the on-site restaurant, Marigold, is an absolute delight. Jean-Georges' effortless style comes through in both the ambiance and the food. We enjoyed two dinners and a brunch there, and I genuinely wish I could have eaten even more. Wow. Another standout perk is the fleet of BMWs available for guests to check out and explore the surrounding area. We chose to only venture out once, to Jefferson Vineyard, but there is plenty to explore in the greater Charlottesville area for those wanting more. In closing, this hotel is incredible! Perfectly styled and wonderfully relaxing. I will be thinking about it and my lovely time there for many years to come!

From the moment we checked in, every staff member we interacted with went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They also provided us with a lot of recommendations which we appreciated. When we first arrived, we had a quick lunch at the grille. It overlooked the driving range with a beautiful view. They had a lot of food options. I got the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. We also dined at Marigold each morning for breakfast, as it was included in our stay. The omelet was amazing! We ate at Marigolds for dinner as well the last night, and the food was truly unbelievable. There's clearly a focus on fresh, local ingredients, and the menu offers something for everyone. Highly recommend the truffle pizza and the shrimp salad! We also took advantage of the spa during our stay. We each had a massage / facial. The spa was also beautifully set up, and I really enjoyed the steam room and sauna. The only thing that would've made it even better is if there was a private pool for the spa guests to use as well. The massage was wonderful though and very relaxing! We also got to enjoy the pool. It wasn't too crowded and the pool itself was luxurious. Keswick Hall is truly a gem in Charlottesville. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

When we finally decided on this hotel, mainly because it was halfway to our final destination of Pennsylvania, and it looked quite interesting, I had trouble booking through their webpage. Maybe you can blame it on me? I just couldn't quite get the system to accept the "check in--checkout" dates. So I gave them a call and booked through a representative located in Las Vegas Vegas. Everything went smoothly. She was very friendly and accommodating. We actually loved the curvy roads leading up to the winery and hotel. That portion of the trip would've been better in our roadster for sure! We were checked in by a friendly gentleman named Thomas. He gave us a room next to the outdoor pool. Finishings kind of reminded us a little bit of the accommodations. It was peacefully decorated, and mostly comfortable except for the couch. We were only using it to lounge in and something more comfortable would have been desirable. I took advantage of the dry sauna and hot tub, which was a short walk across the parking lot. We tried to take advantage of the grounds by walking around the small lake and through the fields. If they were in a dedicated walking trails, we didn't find them! We took a tour of the main house and enjoyed our French inspired continental breakfast, though croissants would've been a nice touch! The vistas from the winery and the hotel are quite spectacular! If you're looking for boutique or personalized lodging with beautiful surroundings, this may work for you!

Yes, that would have worked, but I also would have missed the experience here. Being off season one cannot take in all the amenities like the pool, some of the outdoor activities, and just the ability to lounge or otherwise enjoy the surrounds while staying here. However, it still turned out to be a great experience. You need to pass through a double gate to get to the lobby. The first one would take you to the Trump Winery and the second one to the Estate itself. Yes, it is still a hotel, but it feels like a country club from start to finish. The place is small enough where they, for the most part, go off your name. Dinner reservation? Okay, here is your table. Done? There is no tab (or tip for that matter). Yes, you still need to pay for it, but it just goes on your room bill seamlessly. Want something? Just ask. From the tiny two-seat bar to anything else, service is pretty personal here. For dinner the ESTATE SALAD - Arcadian green mix topped with tomato, watermelon radish, goat cheese and golden beets dressed with Trump Blanc de Blanc vinaigrette, was amazing. My main of DUCK - Pan roasted medium-rare duck breast with cherry port wine sauce, honey glazed rainbow carrots, wild rice pilaf with estate grown herbs, was the best duck I have had in a very long time. Plus, having a flight of Trump wine (white in this case) gave me a preview of the winery I would get to tomorrow. The Viognier I found to be the surprise interest out of the four I tried.
