I hope this does not happen to any other patient, and I will certainly remain cautious of this dental group going forward. I do appreciate their response and kind assistance to rectify this poor patient experience though. Due to Hurricane Harvey, I had to miss an appointment which their office had rescheduled on me, because Pam scheduled me at the WRONG location the first time. So, I had initially confirmed my first appointment only to find out at the eleventh hour that I must reschedule due to THEIR error. Then I sent a reply to their text stating I could not make my second appointment by replying, "No" to their text, because I was stranded in Houston, flooded without electricity or cell service. Now, I tried to call the office (spoke to Theresa), and she disconnected the call and sent me a bill for $100 for a failed appointment. Wow! What poor and unacceptable client service. read more

AVOID THE PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! Aside from the fact the equipment is old and worn out (the armrest was broken and no effort was made to fix it) things like a HUGE x-ray holder was not covered in a disposable plastic bag as is the standard in other offices. There are other health/sanitary issues that are not up to code. Aside from these matters, I was fraudulently told bogus charges not authorized by insurance were MANDATORY, despite being told by the Texas Dental Licensing department that those charges/services were OPTIONAL (a $42 charge for a "rinse" for a "deep cleaning"). As to the "deep cleaning" that is a JOKE! A REAL "deep cleaning" takes and hour and a half for ONE HALF of the mouth done per session. These people do the WHOLE MOUTH in less than an hour in ONE SESSION! They are a total rip-off.... This review was for the Hymeadow location...there is no longer an office on Jollyville Rd. read more

When we walked in the woman at the front desk called my boyfriend "babe ." I have no idea how or why, but they were trying to confirm my dental insurance through my ex-husband who I divorced six years ago. My boyfriend wasn't very pleased at being repeatedly called by my ex-husband's name, despite repeated corrections. The woman at the front desk also insisted on calling me A-Lee-See-a even though my name has never been pronounce that way. I corrected her seven times. Seven. Seven. Times. When I was in the chair the technician said " i'm from Southern California and I call everyone honey and sweetie. Is that OK?" I said, "I wish you wouldn't." She still called me honey about three times. I asked who the last dentist I saw at that preactice was. I had liked him. I thought I remembered the dentist's name being Dr. Tran, a Vietnamese practitioner. The new dentist looked at my record and said I had been seen by a doctor Ho. He then used these words: "Dr. Ho is Chinese, that's the almost same thing right?" I'm the mother to several Korean American children and I was offended that he lumped all of Asia together like that. (I am assuming Dr. Tran is another of my former practitioners, I am an old person with memory issues.) The dentist took it upon himself to lecture me about my medications even though he had no idea what I was taking, who prescribed them, how they were prescribed, or how often I was supposed to take them. This was by design. Some of my meds have nothing to do with my dental situation and I had no intention of giving him that information. When he began his pedantic lecture I pointed out that he was not a doctor and lecturing me about my meds was not his space. He then doubled down on the misogyny by explaining to me that he was a healthcare professional and had every right to know everything about my health situation. At that point I said I needed to go, and took the napkin off my neck and left the room. The dentist then followed me out to the waiting room, continuing his lecture. When we got to the front desk the receptionist who had called my boyfriend "babe" then demanded my doctors phone number. I told her I was not giving her that information and she got very aggressive about how she "needed" it. The whole situation was gross. The lack of professionalism, overly familiar employees, and misogynistic pedantry from the dentist all made for the perfect reason to live with a broken tooth a while longer. Don't go here. Was just there this week for a cleaning and a refill for a portion of a filling that came out. I've had the unfortunate mispleasure of having my insurance steer me toward Omni for the last decade here and they continue to cycle through staff mostly due to what seems like mismanaged, uninspired, borderline unethical work. The most recent was the surprise fee of $30 at the door for their PPE equipment that was not mentioned during the reminder call and, as I do the math and make observations, the fear they're wearing is in no way different than what dentists have adopted over the past 10 years anyway...face shield, gloves, paper garments/bibs, etc. With the exception of the front office staff wearing the .49 paper masks...way to profiteer off the curing issue and completely over charge with what is simply standard working equipment... Then, of course as they often do, they suggest the most invasive, expensive option for you the patient to incur..."you'll need a crown", which I knew would be the suggestion and I offered back to just try a refill and Amsili said "nah, it'll just fall out". Well, of course it could fall out...it could fall out in a year, a month or five years for that matter: but the uninspired, lazy and dollar sign greed just trumps all other options. Coupes with that, their crown lab sucks at making their craft as the crowns come out like LEGO's with no artistry or conformity to the mold that was once your tooth. Just a brick man...probably the cheapest option they can find to hedge more money to line their own pockets. Of course, they "run the numbers" and come back to shine you on and say the proverbial "you have great insurance...this will only cost you $900". So, I ask my wife and she said our insurance plans rate for crowns is $565 and she too was overcharged for two crowns 18 months ago and amounts to insurance fraud. We called their attention to that and our insurance company warranted a refund for the difference from Omni and, lo and behold, we still haven't received anything from Omni in these 18 months...I'm filing a complaint to the ADA and our insurance today. It's clear what these people are all about and this is simply them taking advantage of people in the NW Hills area and obviously lack the most basic of understanding regarding patient care and reciprocity of "if I was the patient, how would I want to be treated..." I'm just going to forgo my insurance and pay cash at a dentist elsewhere I'd they don't take my insurance...I'm tired of giving Omni the satisfaction of my money, in America, you vote with your dollar and I'm taking my "vote" elsewhere. read more

Stay away from this outfit. Went in late 2020 for a periodontic referral from my dentist. Was told by Dr. Sama that I absolutely needed implants to replace a bridge, AND that I needed them IMMEDIATELY, could not wait. 2nd opinion said otherwise. To add insult to injury they mis-billed the appointment and tried to come back for more money. I had to get them on the phone with my insurance company with me on the line to sort through it. To add more insult to injury, at YE 2020, 2021, and 2022 I get blasted by texts suggesting I use/maximize my benefits/flex dollars. Avoid 'em. read more

First of all every time I been at their office I had to wait from 35 minutes to an hour. Unfortunately I have bad allergies and their office in full of dust, the bathroom locks don't work. Yes that's minor I guess, but also with a limited budget I explain to the doctor how much money I had between insurance for this year and next plus a few saving and toll him what I needed done. This doctor loyalty is to the company they work for and not to the patient and due to the doctor not listening to my budget got me to spend out of pocket $300 for a required molding only to find out there's nothing he can due with the my $6000. The doctor heard that I had $20,000 even after I toll him all I had was the insurance balance for 2019 plus 2020's plus some small savings. Again he said repeatedly there was nothing he could do. Seems like doctors loyalty is The Who owns the dental company and not the customer or care to pay attention to the customer. I would suggest a dental doctor who owns the dental practice or go to a dental town in Mexico and check the many videos of satisfied dental Americans and Canadians who used dental services in Mexico. I finally got through to the Hymeadow office and the receptionist that hung up on my son denied hanging up on him and was adamant they did not take panoramically. Of course I let her know how I felt and told her they are by far the worst I've ever dealt with. I wish I had read the reviews. So he had to pay for more exams at Egglestons office. Right after he had new e rays done, she called him and apologized saying she does have the panoramic! Wtf! So he wasted money because she is incompetent! I wish I stumbled upon these reviews earlier. I was patient here for a year and a half. They were close to my apartment and accepted my dental insurance. Everything started out fine but I ended up feeling like I was scammed out of thousands of dollars and I will never return. For example, I had two cavities in two adjoining teeth. I asked for them to be filled at the same time, because duh! They filled one and another one on the other side of my mouth because it was worse than the one I asked for. Okay, whatever. A couple months, later, I went back for a cleaning and the dentist cleaned out the cavity I asked to be filled and said I needed a crown. He already cleaned and opened it so I most definitely needed a crown at that point. But why was I told I only needed a filling? Why didn't they fill it when I asked? I cried right in the dentist chair and told them I felt scammed. My new dentist said he has to REDO the two crowns I got from this office because they are awful. He took pictures of the insides of my mouth and showed me what was wrong with them. They were filed down and are basically cubes in my mouth (not rounded or natural) and pushed up against my gum incorrectly, which is why I bleed in that area when I floss and brush my teeth. So, that's about $1500 down the drain. Avoid this place!! read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! (This is pertaining to the Hymeadow location). I just went here to establish care and to get a routine cleaning. My appointment was at 9am. I arrived and when I was greeted I was told that I needed to call my insurance company to add the group to my coverage. I asked why I wasn't told that ahead of time as I asked specifically if there was anything I needed to do with my insurance days before my appointment. I decided to just cancel and come back once I was able to get the group added as I didn't want to have any issues with my insurance. They assured me it was a fast process so I decided to go ahead and make the call once I filled out all my new patient paperwork. When I was done completing my paperwork they asked if I did want to cancel as the doctor was in a procedure and running "very behind." I asked how long they were estimating as I had another appointment at 12pm and needed to leave by 11:30pm. They said they weren't sure if they could get me out of there by that time. I am no dentist but I absolutely know that you don't schedule routing cleanings if you are going to be performing potentially complicated procedures prior to a 9am appointment. This was an absolute disaster of an appointment and there is no way I would entrust this office with anything pertaining to my health. They are clearly completely unorganized and could care less about their patients' time. Who knows how the dentists are since I clearly wasn't going to meet one of them today! read more

I hadn't been to the dentist in a while, and knew I would need some work. A friend recommended Omni based on her experience with the dental hygienist. Based on my experience, that friend now feels awful for recommending the place. Here is my experience with Omni dental: First exam was scheduled at Office A, I showed up early to fill out paperwork. I then had x-rays taken of my teeth. After the x-rays, I sat in the chair for approximately 45 minutes until I even saw the dentist. The dentist reviewed the xrays, pointed out what needed to be fixed (fillings and a root canal), and I was given a cost invoice of about $450 for everything. I scheduled the follow up appointment to get the work done. Showed up, was presented with a bill for $675 to complete the work. They didn't offer an explanation for the price discrepancy. I paid anyway. I was told this would cover the expenses. Dentist did the fillings fine, started the root canal procedure, and then told me I'd need to see a specialist at Office B for it to be finalized. I would then have to come back to Office A on the same day so they could finish the crown impression. I was also told it would be a quick in and out procedure at Office B, Office B would have everything, and I wouldn't need to pay anything additional. So I call and schedule an appointment with Office B, but it turns out Office A couldn't facilitate the same day follow up procedure. I book it any way, just to keep the ball rolling. I get to Office B, hand them the referral form from Office A, have to fill out all the new patient paperwork, and pay a fee for visiting (what?). I then get more xrays of the tooth, and wait for 45 minutes (starting to see a pattern here). Dentist shows up, asks why I'm there. I mentioned that I'm here for a root canal; then was asked which tooth needed the work done (huge huge huge red flag). After a quick evaluation, I'm asked if I wanted to do that procedure then and there. Confused as to why I'm having to explain my appointment, I agree to getting it done at the time; as I was expecting. I was then presented with a bill for an additional $1050.00. It's now clear that Office A and Office B are not connected, and do not communicate with each other. It's also starting to feel like the office staff and doctors don't communicate with each other. After discussing what I was told by Office A, Office B explains that Office A was incorrect, and I'd need to pay for the specialist visit, and then go back to Office A to update the impression, and THEN book another appointment for the final procedure. So all in all, I was looking at a total 5 appointments across two different offices to get a root canal and crown fitting. Having just spent an hour and a half of my day for nothing, I opted to leave, and decided to go to Office A to cancel the future procedures and get a refund for the paid services that hadn't yet been provided. Office A was closed at 3pm, not 5pm as stated. So I get to go back again tomorrow to try to close this out. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with a medical office. The back and forth between the offices is frustrating, especially with having to schedule it around work. The fact that Office B had no clue why I was there, wasn't prepared for the procedure, and that Office A fed me a lot of misinformation as to what I was paying for, just broke any patience and trust I had for Omni. I will be looking for a new dentist to finish the procedure. I'm sure it will cost something comparable to what Omni had quoted, but I'm hoping I can find a place with their business together enough to where it doesn't require 5 appointments to get it done. read more

UPDATE: If you look at the other negative reviews (99% are negative), you will notice this Donna H. with Omni Dental responds to the Negative Review requesting that you contact her so she can try to resolve the situation. Well I was extremely curious as to what attempted resolution they would try to make so I called and asked to speak with her. My call was screened and I was asked what I was calling about & I told the receptionist it was regarding my YELP review. She then came back in the line & said Donna H. would call me back. Well she never did! This is just another part of their SCAM. They try to make it look like they care & are trying to resolve negative situations. I would be curios to know if anyone else has encountered this as well. If you have, please share it in your review. Personally I'm not fond of businesses that try to SCAM folks like us. One word best describes this place SCAM! I went back today to pick up my X-rays to send them to my old dentist in San Antonio. I'll be traveling there to get all my dental work done. These people literally put that bad of a taste in my mouth. I have to put the blame on myself though for not checking the Yelp reviews before I went. This was a preferred dental group with my insurance. I've cancelled the insurance and will just pay out of my pocket. Doing so will save me about $2,000. Allow me to emphasize one more time SCAM! To the "Doctors Who Think They Know Best," I literally walked out of the office on my 2nd visit and will NEVER GO BACK! The front office staff were RUDE, the COST for services was EXCESSIVE (quoted me $800 for a bite guard and it really cost $300 from past my fancy, comestics only dentist), the doctors did not introduce themselves and they left me sitting in the treatment chair for 45+ minutes. The DENTAL TOOLS were RUSTY! The tray of scraping tools, mirror, etc were literally rusty and very old looking with wooden handles! (Sound the exit music). I was REQUIRED to have TWO appointments, with the first appointment to establish my "treatment plan," but did not get any treatment on this day! A totally waste of time for someone whom has never had a cavity and only needs a regular cleaning (as I repeatedly indicated). Another issue of frustration was simply scheduling and being REQUIRED TO CALL BACK AND CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT with a lenghty formal message about the $$$ fees incured should I "fail to confirm" the appointment! Front office staff were RUDE and abrupt, similar to all of the staff in general. I pleasantly introduced myself to the masked dental tech and she rudely replied "yeah, I know I saw you (2 weeks ago) last time!" Ummm, she was waring a MASK on her face, give me a break! I signed up for the Aetna DMO because it seemed like such a good deal. It's not. I had to choose between Omni, Longhorn, or Castle. I guess I'm spoiled, but I'd never been to a clinic before, only to individual practitioners. There's a big difference. Before my appointment, I filled out A LOT of paperwork. I had to prove I was immunized, which meant contacting my pediatrician (I'm 29, so I hadn't seen her for a good while), and getting a chest X-Ray to confirm that I don't have TB. Bottom line, it was a hassle. Then the office staff didn't even bother to enter my name OR address accurately. Who knows if they were able to bill my insurance?! The invoice they gave me was unintelligible. I only had an initial exam and x-rays here because a separate visit was required for a cleaning, and appointments for cleaning were a good 2 months out. Not cool. I've never had that at other dentists, even when I was a new patient. The x-rays seemed pretty typical, though I was subjected to MTV blaring in the corner while I got them. The consultation with the dentist was okay, but I didn't get the sense he was particularly talented or interested. Though he was cordial, his heavy accent impeded smooth and effective communication. He did say I had a cavity, which is possible, but I chose to take no action because I didn't feel good about this place. If it turns out I don't even have a cavity, I'll update this when I see another dentist. I hate to leave bad reviews, but unfortunately, I can't recommend this practice. I went in for a check-up, waited FOREVER in the chair for the dentist, who barely introduced himself or talked to me. I'm not expecting a stand-up routine, but everyone hates having their teeth picked at, so say something! His prognosis included a $600 estimate for dental work. If I'm going to OMNI, do you think I have $600 burning a hole in my pocket? Overall, the place feels like a dental school with little privacy between the dozens of patients there at one time. I've been to this Omni Dental location several times. The first few times I went there I was happy with the office, dentists and staff. They weren't exceptional - the administrators seemed to be constantly swamped and unable to talk about future appointments, etc. Also had some trouble with insurance paperwork. But things went downhill. Upon some more recent visits almost all of the assistants were new and very inexperienced. I had to sit and listen to one staff member's complaints about the doctors - talk about unprofessional. This is the type of place that will make you hate going to the dentist. I've gone to a lot of different dentists in my life, due to moving around the country quite a bit, and I have never experienced a dentist office quite like this. When I called to make an appointment, I specifically said I wanted to get my teeth cleaned after she said it would be a new patient consult (alarms went off that this was weird, consult = money). She said yes, it would include a cleaning. Show up for my appointment 15 minutes early, but don't get called back until 15 minutes after my appointment starts. They make me start with x-rays and then the doctor comes in for my consult. In the three minutes he was in there, he tells me that the people who took off my braces didn't do it right so he will need to fix that because it looks like there are small cavities on my front teeth. My braces were removed 16+ years ago and not one dentist has ever mentioned this. Red flag #1. He tells me that I do a great job flossing. I've flossed once in the past two months. Red flag #2. He then tells me that I have two small cavities and tries to show them to me as big black spots on my teeth. These are the same "cavities" that a prior dentist claimed I had, when my last dentist said that it's just where my enamel didn't grow all the way and there's no reason to do anything to them - it's just how my teeth are. Red flag #3. He then says that while I could get away with a regular cleaning, it would be "easier" on the hygienist if I upgraded to the deep cleaning (which I heard them recommend to three people while I was waiting). Red flag #4. I am then told that I can go up front and get my paperwork. What happened to my cleaning? First they tell me that I'm not scheduled for that and I said yes, I specifically requested that. Then (without referring to any schedule) they say I can wait for 30 minutes and they can squeeze in a cleaning, which will take at least another 30 minutes (my previous amazing dentist would have my entire visit wrapped up in 30 minutes). Do they think I have nothing better to do with my day? I've already wasted over an hour sitting in this office for them to do nothing. Anyways, I finally go up and review my consultation paperwork aka how much money are they going to seep out of me on a return trip. Turns out the recommended "deep" cleaning is barely covered by insurance... nothing screams scam to me more than something that your dental insurance won't even cover. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this dental office and will be avoiding all these franchised dental chains in the future. read more

The front staff DEFINITELY needs watering. No smiles or chitchat even with me trying to help them out with that. The back staff seems to be quite similar. You can't really conversate with instruments in your mouth, but she could have at least answered my questions other than one word responses. Dr. Ho is nice, he was informative enough for my satisfaction, however after treatment, I wish he would have stayed in the room until the RDA got everything out of my mouth - I had a few questions. After my mouth was cleared of tools and saliva the RDA informed me I was done and took my chart away while I gathered myself back together. Do I stay here? Is the doctor coming back? Do I leave the room? Are you going to wipe my mouth? Who knows. I didn't see her again, so I left. I'll probably be back solely because it's affordable and adequate. NOT because I love it. read more

I went there this morning for my first appt. I got there 15-20 minutes early & filled out paperwork real quick. Another lady came in after me - we had the same appt time. However, she got in right away & I had to wait 30 minutes. Whaaaat? I finally get back to get started & they did my x-rays. These weren't your typical digital x-rays...no. They are flash-back to the 80's full bite-wing x-rays. EIGHTEEN times I had to open my mouth, position, bite down - click! A handful of times the stupid bite-wing was stabbing me in the mouth as she said "hold it there!"...the seconds turned into minutes as my eyes watered from the pain. All that nonsense took 30 minutes...other offices you do the digital x-ray in a matter of 5 minutes...maybe a few bite-wings too. The dentist quickly examines me. She goes thru the gum sizing & then tells me she sees a small cavity that she recommends getting filled. No showing me with a mirror at the least -- no x-ray to show, nada. Sorry lady - I'm not prone to cavities, & I'm not feeding into your quick fundraising tactic. You would think that coming here you would save some money due to it seems like they are using out-dated equipment & their office looks like it's a free clinic....nope. Not that I so much care about the aesthetics of an office, but that just indicated the type of services (or lack thereof) they provide... There's too many dentists offices around; I'd rather pay the same price & go somewhere that keeps up with the times on equipment. My time, lack of pain, & money are better spent elsewhere. read more

Avoid. They will tell you one thing and then turn around and change their story. Don't trust what they say. Have them type up in a certified letter or something like that so that you have proof. Its sad that you have to do that when you should be able to trust them. They are supposed to be helping people. They will not help you. The only thing they want is money. And if you disagree to pay anything they ask you to pay, they will quickly send you to collection agency without communicating with you first. My advise, go somewhere else. I was appalled by my visit here. I ventured from my usual Dentist because I found a 'deal' on Groupon and thought I would give Omni a try. I don't even know where to start. I circled the building trying to find the entrance (it's not marked) and it went south from there. I pre-purchased a basic cleaning, X-ray and exam. I was leery when I saw the equipment....I hadn't seen those types of X-rays in years - with the plastic bite strips? A white curtain opposite my chair covered the equipment and it was dingy and looked like it hadn't been washed in years. GROSS. After X-rays - the woman left the room with no word- and I waited. And waited. And waited. I stuck my head out finally (no one told me what the delay was or anything that was going on) FORTY-FIVE MINUTES LATER and was told that they were running behind. Finally, a full hour after I walked in the door, the dentist walked in (where was the hygenist???) and looked at my teeth. I've never had that happen before - where the exam is prior to the cleaning? He seemed thorough - but I'm 45 and never had a cavity in my life, no braces, healthy gums - and he is saying I have two, possibly three cavities and I need a "deep cleaning only", which is around $185. Once we do that, he said, THEN he can give me ANOTHER cleaning at the Groupon price. He said that he "...likes to start with a clean slate." CLASSIC bait and switch. Just outrageous. I walked out of there without any cleaning (I wasn't about to spend that), having wasted 2 hours and I'm out the price of the Groupon. I'm headed back to my old dentist - lesson learned. read more

Visiting Omni Dental Group was an unpleasant experience mainly due to the operations. The dentist and assistant performing my procedure (DR. SONALI BHANDARI DDS and WENDY) were very pleasant and customer service oriented. However the front desk receptionist appeared to be inconvenienced by questions or concerns. She would not make herself available to take the time to explain fee(s) for treatment. She seemed to expect the patient should already know this and appeared to be irritated for not understanding. My observation of the dental practice's operations is unprofessional and lacks customer service. The fees are very high in comparison to other practices. I completed my procedure and took my business to another practice were I have been hand held through the entire procedure with reasonable fees. read more

I was told I could get duplicates of dental X-rays for $15 if I move to another dentist. We shall see. Update: Fair place, nothing special. I was able to get my xrays as promised the same day. I thought the girls up front could have been more pleasant and welcoming. Neither of them smile and they were really matter of fact. I recently had an implant done. I had been putting it off for a very long time because I heard it was painful. So thankful I went to Dr. Sama @Omni Dental. The process was great! I was given medication before surgery to help relax me and then I was numbed. I didn't feel a thing and it went by quickly. I would highly recommend going to OMNI For any Dental surgery's. read more

Never the best customer experience at the front desk. I first came to Omni last summer. I made an appointment for a cleaning. I was given xrays and an exam. I has two children in the last 4 years so I needed lots of work done. I had to fulfill all of the dental work (including removing my wisdom teeth) before my cleaning. so here we are 10 months later, and I JUST got my teeth cleaned. I was charged enormous amounts of money and made to come in for a consultation before each procedure. So not only did I know the work that I needed, I had to consult with each different Dr. and then come back on a separate appointment for the actual work. So if time is valuable, Omni certainly is not a fit. Today I am going to do the last of my fillings and I had an emergency come up at work. I called to cancel it. I was treated with out any respect for my job, or my patronage to Omni. I was told I had to pay a $50 cancellation fee for not cancelling with 24 hour notice.. Then I was told that I had indeed confirmed my appointment, which was not true. They send you a text message, and you can not reply to it. Well, I did not confirm it. Even my hair dresser texts me a confirmation for my appointment and in order to confirm it I reply "C" If I don't respond I get a personal call making sure that I am coming in. I know how policies work, and have worked many years in customer service, after all the time and money I have spent I feel that a one time cancellation should be waived to earn back my business. So I am missing work, and getting my filling, and NEVER going back. read more

I'm not sure what the other reviewers expect at the dentist office, but I have been going to this dentist office for several years. If I really thought about it, probably 8+ years. It's not the best dentist I have ever been to, but it is adequate. My only complaint is it seems there is an ever changing rotation of dentists that see you. They each have their own pet peeve that they get you to buy into; receding gums, cracked tooth need a crown, grinding your teeth by this sleep guard, etc... it does get old having to dodge the sale each time. I have pretty good teeth so I have never had to have major work done, just cleanings, x-rays, etc... and overall it is pretty quick in and out. There have been times the office ladies are a little pushy with the "call us back to confirm or we'll charge you $50.00!" but there's been times that I haven't called and I showed up at the appointment without additional fees. If you're looking for a dentist try them out, if you don't like them, don't go back. read more

Horrible experience and overpriced! Insurance does not cover the cost they submit! Have two insurances abs they refuse to bill secondary insurance! Having more tooth pain than before going to an appointment for filling/cavity on tooth that was not bothersome before they touched! Will not be going back! read more

I had a cavity, Omni dental told me I needed an expensive crown which would cost several hundreds dollars of out of pocket expense. And at least two more appointments to do the work. I went to another dental clinic, and was told it's a small cavity and only charged me $75 for the filling which was covered by insurance. No out of pocket expense at all, no pain and I got to keep my tooth intact! read more

Literally the worst dental place I've ever dealt with. The lady at the front desk and the woman she sits next to both were EXTREMELY rude. Every conversation was done with attitude. I will never use them again. The temp tooth they were replacing was so bad they had to completely redo it. Please don't use this company. read more

I went here for a basic cleaning and exam. The office has a strange and obnoxious practice where they have you come in twice on two different days for the exam and cleaning. This probably allows them to increase their insurance billings, but it wastes my time and I don't appreciate that. More seriously, while cleaning my teeth the dentist, without a mask on, kept coughing without turning away or anything; really unsanitary and the clincher for why I won't go back. Other issues: 1. The dentist I saw ask me if I had any trouble grinding my teeth at night. I said "no" and he said "yeah, I don't see any". Then he spent 5 minutes talking to me about how lots of people grind their teeth. Its like he wanted to sell me a doctor's nightguard but knew I wasn't a real prospect. 2. The dentist has some kind of breathing problem that makes it sound like he's snoring while working on you. 3. They're using old and outdated equipment; for example, they are still taking film x-rays (which I haven't encountered in over ten years). The office as a whole looks really shabby and uncared-for. read more

My two experiences here are vastly different from previous reviewers. My first visit was an examination and X-rays only, with the exam completed by Dr. Ho. I was warmly welcomed by the staff on my first visit, and was in a chair at my exact appointment time. My second appointment was today for a deep cleaning. Again, the staff was very friendly, I was in the chair on time, I was fully numbed with both topical and needle anesthetic, and Krista the dental hygienist was wonderful. The ONLY reason I'm not giving this location 5 stars is because the actual office and dental rooms need a bit of a makeover and some surface renovation. I'm very happy with Omni Dental on Jollyville, and very grateful to the staff since the dental work I require is self-inflicted from not scheduling regular appointments. read more

Warning: This dental group charges an extra $30. per visit for PPE charges due to COVID19. I have friends who work in the dental field and this is a higher than normal charge. It was also an unexpected charge and because they don't typically do cleanings during a first visit, I got this $30. charge twice! So, be careful. Ask about charges up front. It was also not a very good cleaning. She didn't floss my teeth, she knicked me twice with the polisher, and she suggested I bring my own vaseline or chapstick next time since my lips were dry and I didn't want the corners of my mouth to crack. Not a good experience at all! I brought my concerns to their corporate office but all they offered was for me to get another cleaning on my time. No thank you. I would recommend using someone else. read more
