I have never left a review for a business before, and I am generally a very understanding person. However, I feel compelled to leave a review for this business for the sole purpose of warning any future patrons of this business about the outrageous (and harmful) experience I had. I scheduled an appointment at Omni for a dip manicure with Vy. I made my appointment far in advance. When I arrived, after being seated, no one addressed for about 15 minutes. I finally made eye contact with an employee, who said "we will be with you soon." My manicure did not start until almost 25 minutes after my appointment time, although only one other customer was being served. From the very start, Vy was incredibly rough. My nails were short when I came in, and she proceeded to aggressively file them in a square shape--twice cutting into my nail bed, which hurt so much that I retracted my hand in pain. At this point, I thought about saying I didn't want to proceed with the manicure. I truly wish I had left. Next, Vy used a nail drill--on my natural nails. I know that the nail surface must be buffed, but it didnt appear that she was using a proper head for natural nails. She used the nail drill so closely to the edge of my cuticles that she made me bleed in multiple places--it hurt SO much that again, I should have declined the services at this point. One of the attached photos is of a spot where I bled. She was quick to put Neosporin on the cuts, but never said acknowledged when I pulled my hands away in pain. Rather, she commented on the fact that: 1) my nails were "too short," and 2) at another point, asked me "if I had ever had a dip manicure before." Yes, I have had MANY. Other than sanding my nails and filing them to the point of bleeding, she did nothing else--did not trim cuticles or prep my hands in any way. She also never had me wash my hands at any point, which is VERY alarming considering she then proceeded to use dip powder from a jar that is used for all customers. That is so unsanitary. She proceeded to apply dip powder INCREDIBLY rapidly, overpainting the adhering glue coat onto my cuticles and fingers. Intermittently, she would get up to answer the phone, spend time on the computer at the front desk, put away other polishes--she truly could not have demonstrated less concern for my appointment. Once she was done applying the dip, that was it--appointment over. Never any hand/skin treatment, massage, etc. Yet I was there for 1.5 hours. I then paid with a card. My hands were stinging and I was truly on the verge of tears as I looked at the receipt and thought about whether, for the first time in my LIFE, I was not going to tip. As I started to fill in the tip line, she stopped me and said "no, we don't take tips on a card--cash only." I crossed out the tip and truthfully told her I was sorry but I had no cash. She then said "okay, you can add the tip to the card this time." I couldn't believe this exchange--especially after what had just taken place over the past hour and a half. I left the salon with every single nail aching. I decided to write this review after seeing the state of my nails after removing the dip properly (repeatedly soaking in acetone). It is simply appalling. Attached is a picture of what my natural nails look like at present: every nail has a CURVED INDENTATION horizontally across the nail bed (right at the place that was the base of my nail on the day of my appointment) from the sanding tool/drill that was used. Each nail has been sanded so dangerously thin that my nails bends at the center when I squeeze on the outer sides of my fingertips, and I am in pain as I type. I have never, in my life, been harmed by a manicure experience--until Omni. If you have not been to this business before and you're considering it as a first timer, please let my experience be informative and please go somewhere else. I really hope this review helps someone else avoid this awful, outrageous experience. read more

I usually don't post on Yelp because I think it can ruin businesses based on people that are NOT critics. BUT because I loved this place so much and want the world to know about them I decided I'd take one for the team and give them the rating they deserve! My friend and I went during our work break and I just thought I would give them a try. We both got dipped nails and OH MY GOODNESS HOW I LOVE THEM! Vi did my nails and I literally just gave her the colors I wanted and said, "I trust you, do what you think would look best." And my nails are so cute!!! I told her I wanted them to look girlie and pretty for Valentines Day, and she did just that! I cant stop showing off my nails to people. You go in and the ambiance is WONDERFUL, you sit in couches and if you get a pedicure they put oranges and things in the water... HOW COOL IS THAT?! They also serve wine, have relaxing music, and are just overall so sweet and helpful. And did I mention how well priced they are?? These people are definitely on the top of my list for nails salons!! The one thing that threw me off was that you need to have cash tips, not with the card. But she was so sweet and just told me, "next time, don't worry about it". She completely let me off the hook, and I have absolutely no issues getting cash for them next time. :) Over all they let us enjoy our break and have one of the most relaxing couple of hours I've had in a long time. The woman was unfriendly and said to just call because it's appointment only. Later while we were talking, she called her friend and spoke in Vietnamese in front of me. Later I found out they were fully booked that day, but she should've just said that initially instead of leading me on by telling me to call. I understand they have protocol to follow and would've been fine to come back another day, but the way they handled it, they acted as if they didn't want me there. Plus the inside is small and cramped. There's other nail salons in the area that are bigger and the employees are welcoming and act like they want you there. Today was a very off day for the staff. Jasmine didnt do a good job removing all the callous. Then she sprays witch hazel without warning me and it got in my eyes and stung for awhile. The dip manicure was very painful today. Both girls (Lee and young girl with short bob) cut my cuticles with the nail drill. My left nail cuticle stung like heck when she sprayed alcohol and put top coat on my skin cuts. At the end, I paid $100 and they didn't offer discount for the poor service. I ended up tipping them 10% because I'm nice but I probably didn't need to tip today. I probably won't be coming back. I used to drive 30 min to see them, but don't th it's worth it anymore. After my visits here at Omni Nails I can say with confidence that, I'VE NEVER BEEN SO IMPRESSED WITH MULTIPLE NAIL TECHS AT ONE SINGLE LOCATION I found this place close to my house after I broke a nail at work and needed a salon that was open later. I showed up to my appointment with Jasmine. First of all, these ladies have SO MUCH attention to detail. Something I am grateful for that I get the pleasure of actually relaxing and don't have to watch over and ask to shorten a nail or file a bump out of the nail polish. Vi, the owner, also worked on my nails to help the other girl finish. I felt so bad but ended up being there a little past their closing time however they were so nice about it, didn't rush and did an amazing job. We passed the time with great conversation. My second time back I brought my mom -- she had the basic manicure and said it was WELL worth the price. I always opt for dip. This time around we had Susan and Ty. I'm so impressed with this salon and all the ladies that work there, I no longer have to worry about my nail tech being booked out or what days she works . Hi! Just a few thoughts on my experience for anyone who might be curious. Omni Organic Nails is natural and non toxic. Love that! (Had a lot of allergies as a kid.) Owner dreams of opening more natural salons. FYI: "Tru Bru Organic Coffee" is 20 feet away! Nice lil' all natural-themed day out :) Price was super reasonable for service and quality in my opinion (comparable to any other salon visited--minus the harsh chemicals!) Staff were all very nice, hospitable, and intent on making their clients happy. I won't put names here because everyone has their own preference! But my mom, good friend, and I had a good time. Facility is brand new as well with plenty of windows and comfy chairs and a light rustic feel. I tried their powder dip manicure since I am always up and about and wanted something slightly more durable. My nails came out great and well groomed, and still look fresh. Bonus: I was told a 10 day warranty comes with this service and they'll fix it if something happens. (Probably need to keep my receipt just in case? So far so good.) Good hygiene was very important to them, which is a relief! The tools and even the liner of the foot tubs was one-time use and recyclable or disposed of. Reservation recommended. Also, maybe pick a day when not in a rush. They are fast, but I would allow time for any mishaps--my friend bumped her wet toenail on accident and they took time to re-do the whole nail. Of course, I might be a bit biased since I like natural products, but I really did go home happy too so that's what really mattered! Lastly, I did eyebrow and armpit waxing. For brows, I let the stylist do what was best for my face shape. My leap of faith went just fine, thank goodness! For anyone with something particular in mind, I felt it would be easy to tell them by showing a photo reference or something. Good thing: after each service, they made sure that I was happy with my experience. I was totally scared about my first armpit waxing, but it went better than expected. (Note: Definitely researched and grew out the hair accordingly. #longsleevesfordays) There is a little private waxing room and the stylist made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Of course waxing does hurt a bit (duh), but it was fast, neatly done, and I am no longer scared. Hello smoothness. Overall, it was a great Saturday after a long week of work! Saw that a new nail salon recently opened right by my house, so I had to come check it out. I called right before coming and was told that they could take me in right away. As soon as I got there, I was happily greeted by their friendly staff. One thing I did notice was that there wasn't that infamous chemical smell that usually hits your nose as soon as you walk into a typical nail salon. Instead, the salon had a fresh citrus/lemon scent which was all the more relaxing! They also play relaxing spa music in the background which was nice. They offer free champagne/snacks/water, and have a huge selection of organic nail polish colors that cover about 3 walls of the store. I went in for just a regular pedicure with basic French tip and they did not disappoint! I love my new toes!! Ended up paying $30 with tip included. To soak your feet, they use hot water mixed with lemon/orange slices which explains the pleasant aroma of the salon. They also use clean, disposable tools and open the pack right in front of you so if you're a germaphobe you don't need to worry about the cleanliness of their tools. Another thing I liked was that they don't harass you to do other services, but instead they ask nicely and politely smile when you decline. If you're looking for an "organic" and no-smell place, I wouldn't recommend.
