This is one of my favorite boba places. The boba is always fresh and has a nice chew to it. The workers are very friendly and polite as well as quick with their service. The only con is that there is a bit of a wait if you go anytime between 5 and 8 pm just because of how popular it is. But the wait is worth it! There is a small seating area inside, but much more outside as well. My favorite drinks are the omomo matcha and the strawberry green tea, and the oolong creamomo. read more

We were near by the area and my kids wanted to try this new location. Personally my first time at any OMOMO Tea Shoppes and it's not really my kind of tea shop. However the two drinks I ordered were good, I don't know if it's something I would always have. My coconut pineapple drink wasn't bad. I just didn't get a lot of coconut, but nice pineapple bits. My second drink was the Avocado smash with strawberry bits. I love avocado shakes and this was interestingly good. The strawberry bits were good, but I don't think it really accompanied the avocado flavor. If I'm nearby again and the line is not wrapping around the building and I want some fresh fruit smoothies, I'll try OMOMO again. read more

This review is less about the drinks Omomo offers and more about the containers they use. I'm an avid Omomo customer and enjoy their drinks almost every week, but I've repeatedly run into the same issue: the metal lid covers can be extremely sharp. I understand that holding the cup by the lid isn't the intended way to carry it, but it's a comfortable and common grip for many customers. In the past, I've received minor cuts from the metal edge and simply treated them with a Band-Aid. However, on my most recent visit, the lid caused a much deeper cut to my finger, resulting in significantly more bleeding than a typical paper cut. Because of this experience, I believe Omomo should consider redesigning or improving the metal lid covers to reduce the risk of injury. While this may not affect every customer, it could pose a safety concern for others, including children, who may similarly handle the cup. read more

I've been to the chino and irvine locations, yesterday was my first time visiting the Brea location! the interior is beautiful. I do wish they had some 2-seater tables, but given the plaza it's in, and how much foot traffic Omomo gets, I understand why they opt not to. Nonetheless, I've never had a bad experience ordering whether it's packed or no wait at all. Service has always been super quick and efficient The white peach oolong tea, 80% sugar is forever my Omomo go-to. With cheese cream top if you're feeling more of a dessert drink, or no cream for something refreshing. 10/10 would recommend! read more

The inside is very aesthetic and minimalist. There are no tables inside, so this is more of a grab and go, rather than a stay and chat. My go-to is an Omomo Matcha w/ boba & 50% sweetness. I decided to try something new today & ordered the Oolong Milk Tea. The tea flavor is strong, which I really enjoyed. The texture of their boba is the perfect chewiness. Their drinks tend to be on the sweeter side, so I would recommend adjusting the sweetness. Sometimes, the 50% is still a bit too sweet for me. I always get the Matcha Cortado but decided to get the Ceylon Cortado with Tiramisu foam and Jasmine Cortado for my sister. Always on time and respectful if your order didn't go right. There was one time my drink wasn't sealed all the way and they offered to reseal it with a new seal. This is strictly a pick up and go space- one bench (pictured) that looks like it's there for photo ops. No tables so don't plan on coming here to hang out or study. The selection of drinks and quality are better than average- very similar to Sunright in taste/value/selection/variety. The price point is average and the wait time was quick. TLDR: love their matcha, super efficient, parking is a struggle I was pleasantly surprised when OMOMO came to Brea and compared to the other locations (cough cough Irvine), the lines aren't atrocious. The employees are also crazy efficient; I'm talking Henry Ford assembly line level. I'm usually in and out in under 20 minutes, which I am so grateful about. I have only tried their OMOMO matcha (minus the brulee) at 80% and 50% sweet. The 80% is perfectly sweet and carries a strong matcha flavor. In comparison, the 50% tastes like water with a hint of matcha. I wish they would have told me that adjusting sweetness means using less matcha powder (I'm assuming the matcha powder is sweetened and that's how they partly adjust sweetness). Omomo is Korean for 'oh my goodness' and that is the only proper response to the excellent boba and fruit tea offerings here. Lines are usually a bit long but they move fast. Current favorites are the mango and strawberry tornados as well as the seasonal offerings (their current watermelon one is sublime too). Everything is fresh fruit and made to order, the cheese foam is actually foamy with a nice level of salt, and they even give you a nice looking bag for larger to go orders. Everything is perfect here but mind you, the pricing can get scary if you're adding a bunch of custom ingredients, like $8-10 range. read more

I decided to try Wicked which I believe is one of their new drinks. It is a matcha drink with ube paste. I got 80% sweet which was perfect for me.
