Parking can be a little difficult especially if you come during lunch time because there are a ton of restaurants in this plaza. The staff is friendly & service is quick. The inside is very aesthetic and minimalist. There are no tables inside, so this is more of a grab and go, rather than a stay and chat. My go-to is an Omomo Matcha w/ boba & 50% sweetness. I decided to try something new today & ordered the Oolong Milk Tea. The tea flavor is strong, which I really enjoyed. The texture of their boba is the perfect chewiness. Their drinks tend to be on the sweeter side, so I would recommend adjusting the sweetness. Sometimes, the 50% is still a bit too sweet for me. Omomo is always great for the aesthetics. I've had Omomo since the hype started in 2020, but I think the rest of SoCal has caught up to them. Flavor/menu wise they don't really stand out crazy above other spots anymore. So if you're looking for a CUTE spot and this is convenient for you, then I would recommend. This is one of my favorite boba places. The boba is always fresh and has a nice chew to it. The workers are very friendly and polite as well as quick with their service. The only con is that there is a bit of a wait if you go anytime between 5 and 8 pm just because of how popular it is. But the wait is worth it! There is a small seating area inside, but much more outside as well. My favorite drinks are the omomo matcha and the strawberry green tea, and the oolong creamomo. read more

We were near by the area and my kids wanted to try this new location. Personally my first time at any OMOMO Tea Shoppes and it's not really my kind of tea shop. However the two drinks I ordered were good, I don't know if it's something I would always have. My coconut pineapple drink wasn't bad. I just didn't get a lot of coconut, but nice pineapple bits. My second drink was the Avocado smash with strawberry bits. I love avocado shakes and this was interestingly good. The strawberry bits were good, but I don't think it really accompanied the avocado flavor. If I'm nearby again and the line is not wrapping around the building and I want some fresh fruit smoothies, I'll try OMOMO again. read more

I do wish they had some 2-seater tables, but given the plaza it's in, and how much foot traffic Omomo gets, I understand why they opt not to. This is strictly a pick up and go space- one bench (pictured) that looks like it's there for photo ops. No tables so don't plan on coming here to hang out or study. The selection of drinks and quality are better than average- very similar to Sunright in taste/value/selection/variety. The price point is average and the wait time was quick. We came by this OMOMO location after having a lunch nearby, and I would say the experience was ok. I had the Avocado Smash and found it delightful. TLDR: love their matcha, super efficient, parking is a struggle I was pleasantly surprised when OMOMO came to Brea and compared to the other locations (cough cough Irvine), the lines aren't atrocious. The employees are also crazy efficient; I'm talking Henry Ford assembly line level. I'm usually in and out in under 20 minutes, which I am so grateful about. I have only tried their OMOMO matcha (minus the brulee) at 80% and 50% sweet. The 80% is perfectly sweet and carries a strong matcha flavor. In comparison, the 50% tastes like water with a hint of matcha. I wish they would have told me that adjusting sweetness means using less matcha powder (I'm assuming the matcha powder is sweetened and that's how they partly adjust sweetness). Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded! Wow, I remember when I first stood in line at the (now closed) Alton Parkway shop several years ago. It was tasty, don't get me wrong, but I never went back there again because it was an hour wait. Recently I was at the mall nearby and saw that they opened this new location. Walked inside and basically waltzed to the register with no hassle. What was a hassle though? Parking on a busy Friday night. I circled the lot three times with no luck, then I accidentally turned towards In-N-Out and got stuck with other cars trying to enter the drive-thru. So I gave up and parked on the street a short walk away. I think I saw one small bench inside. Otherwise, you pretty much grab your drinks and go on your way, it's not really a place to linger. Their menu has coffee, milk teas, fresh teas, cheese foam (Creamomos), fruit teas, specialty offerings, and seasonal items. Toppings available for additional charge. The Oreo Brulee Green Milk Tea is pretty much what the name implies: swirls of green tea, custard, and crushed cookie bits. Creamy, though I would have liked more green tea flavor.
