Same terrible experience/customer service as everyone else that has documented on here. -No one answers the phone for weeks. -Impossible to book an appointment within 1 month, only availability 3-6 months out and never on a Saturday. -Took over A YEAR to schedule a message on a Saturday. -Groupon has expired due to their limited availability. -Front desk lady was not helpful, didn't listen, and was quite argumentative Didn't try to understand my situation and tried to charge me $20 to keep my appointment and honor the couples message Groupon, even though I was there by myself. My boyfriend and I originally found On Cloud Nine on Groupon with a couple's massage and absolutely loved the service! The owners and staff of On Cloud Nine are sweet and accommodating. Our first visit was for a 1 hour couples massage. We immediately purchased a 90 minute massage after that initial visit. They offer so much within the massage itself and other services in house. Wow I really like this place I made an appt got there early and was told my appt was moved to 30 min later....normal I dont mind but she was really rude about it and when I got there at 1st every thing was closed ....I had to wait in my car till someone came out. Even checked online to see if they were open.Then when I told her never mind,(because I had appt somewhere else)she responded with an attitude that sound like at threat she replied with you will be charged for missing the appt. .....wow . Such a lovely experience. I purchased a couples massage on Groupon and it was so relaxing. My boyfriend and I both appreciated it so much. Our service was provided by Sabrina and Anne. They were both great. I'm happy he got Sabrina because she was a little more experienced and he deserved a good massage. Anne did great and was really gentle but she didn't massage the bottom of my feet which is why I'm giving a 4 out of 5. I felt that my massage was a little cut short. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly and she was telling us after that we will eventually have high expectations since this was our first massage experience. She said some people get lazy and so like a simple finger tip massage, I found this funny because that is what I felt I had experience with Anne. I called 3 times 20 min before or appointment and every 10 minutes after that to let them know we would be running 20 min late. No one answered the phone. We get there and the lady in the front says she's been sitting there the whole time. Well that sounds very suspicious because there are multiple reviews on yelp where people could not get anyone to pick up the phone multiple times throughout the day. She then tells us we will only get a 30 min massage instead of the full hour. We said we would like to reschedule our appointment then, either later on the same day or another day. She tells us they have a cancellation/rescheduling policy of $20. She could not show me anywhere where it was stated. I looked online a 2nd time and there is nothing stated about any monetary fee. There is a Cancellation policy which I took a screenshot of and included here and it proves my point. I also included a screenshot of my calls which were not picked up and the 2nd time I called is when I left a message. So after we decide to reschedule and pay the fee, she gives us the credit card slip to sign and it says $21. We told her she told us it was $20 and she then told us there is a $1 credit card fee. She said it's normal. No where is it stated there is a $1 credit card fee. Also, she should have told us she is charging us $21 instead of $20 like she verbally said. This place is VERY sneaky and deceitful. They lie to you multiple times and add bogus fees. They claim there is a $20 cancellation fee which is not stated anywhere. Then they charge you $21 without telling you. This place is horrible and that is all BEFORE they even offered any services of a massage. When we went back a few weeks later to get our massages, both of our massage therapists were great. They knew what they were doing and their massages ARE better than any $20 "foot" massage that you find everywhere. Although it is unfortunate that I will probably never come back to On Cloud Nine Day Spa due to the front desk and ownership. Amazing experience!! I purchased a couples massage off of Groupon. We checked in and were greeted right away. After we were ushered to the waiting room (for less than a minute) and our masseuses introduced themselves (as I was making myself a complimentary chai tea ) and led us to a very tranquil room, with soothing background noise playing softly. The oils they used smelled amazing! The hot stones were perfect! AND the spa was very clean. Our massage was great, I wish I remembered the two ladies names. (I believe one was Sabrina) My bf and I both loved our massages! Definitely will be back. Can be pricey without Groupon, but they give you a coupon for a discount% off of your next massage if you book it (: Don't know what the other lady was saying about not having appointments, I heard a receptionist say 3 weeks in advance on the phone to someone but I'd rather wait for an AMAZING massage then spend money on a not so great one that isn't booked in advanced. Came here with my girlfriend for the Groupon deal and had a very nice experience. There were a few iffy parts that I'm willing to attribute to having just opened, but I will be returning and will update my rating then. The receptionist was a bit cold, and we waited 20 minutes even though we had an appointment and were there right on time. They asked me if I wanted tea which I agreed to. They pointed me to the hot water pitcher and the tea bags, only for me to find that the only tea they had was some "Women's health" tea. Concerned that this tea might induce a man-strual cycle in me I passed. The massage itself was quite good if you like pressure, and I do. I was concerned that the petite lady who was my masseuse couldn't even begin to break apart my rock hard chiseled physique of uber manliness. I was quite wrong though, she WORKED me over. They do a hot stone massage as well which if very nice and super relaxing. Other than the lukewarm welcome, a couple of other negatives. The walls are quite thin and you can hear stuff going on in the other rooms which does break the calming spell a bit. Lastly, my quads were REALLY sore and I asked her to leave them alone. She must have forgot ... cause when she pressed into them I got a rude awakening to be sure. They offered a 40% off discount on other services if you bought them that night, so I picked up a deep tissue massage for another time. It's pretty rare to find a massage place that provides adequate pressure for someone of my size and build, so I am more than willing to come back for that. read more

Before I start, let me say that the massage I received was very good. I suspect it would have been perfect had the customer service not been so terrible. My wife and I were in town for a prenatal appointment and set up a couples massage directly after her appt. we were running late, so we called to let them know, to which they responded "no problem, well see you in a few minutes." After having some trouble finding the place, we showed up roughly 20 minutes late for our 60 minute massage. We were given the sign in sheets and told something to the effect of "hurry these in so we won't have to cut you short." The therapists came out and introduced themselves and brought us to the room. Massage started at 10:30, and ended at 11:00. HALF the time we paid for. My therapist mentioned something about it being shorter during the massage, but I did not expect it to be cut in half. My wife, 18 weeks pregnant, was quite upset, and broke down in tears as we left the room. The manager asked what the problem was, which we explained we did not realize it would be cut short, let alone in half, and that we could have easily rescheduled had we known that would be the case. We did not get an apology - no discount for only having half our treatment - no offer to finish the rest of the appt..... Nothing. Instead the manager told us that the receptionist did say it would be cut short. WHAT?! We were told to hurry so it wouldn't be cut short... Not "hurry so you can be cut short." Not "we can do a massage for you, but it will be cut short - would you like to do that or perhaps reschedule." Nothing actually helpful. Don't go here. And, if you're reading - the two therapists that worked on my wife and I - you were great - I highly recommend getting a job where your management and service desk staff are as good as you are. read more

I originally purchased either a groupon or travelzoo (can't remember which) certificate for a massage and facial last year which were so wonderful that when I was offered 40% services for the next visit, my mother and I purchased another facial/massage package. This place is not fancy, but the massage and facial were excellent. My mom called to schedule a massage and had no call back for 2 days. When they called, she told them that she wanted a same day appt and now she was not able to find the time and would call back at a later time. I called last week to schedule an appt knowing that they may not return my call back the same day but they never called. Today, a week later, I remembered they did not call and called them and got an answering machine (as always) and said I no longer want the gift certificate since this is the 2nd time I have called to make an appt and no one calls back in a timely manner. I received a call from Raquel (do not know if she is the owner) who said "you can bring in your gift certificate for a refund or mail it in" and did not even bother to apologize. The customer service here is horrible and that is sad because the owner did my facial (not sure of her name) and she was very nice. I do not know many things. I don't know why the sky is blue although I learned it in science class multiple times. I don't know why my car is perpetually low on gas. I don't know how to convert kilometers to miles from the top of my head. One thing I do know though, is how to tell if a massage is excellent. 1. An excellent massage should be personalized to your preference of degree of pressure and areas of focus. 2. An excellent massage will be given by an excellent therapist who will prep you before the massage, ask you questions to make sure he/she knows what you want, then also end the massage with some conclusive remarks and send you on your way. 3. An excellent massage should take place in a quiet, clean room at a comfortable temperature. 4. An excellent massage will leave you relaxed, at peace and pampered. 5. Lastly, an excellent massage becomes even more excellent when priced at a reasonable and affordable price. I have gone to many massage places and have tried many groupon deals. This by far was the best massage I have gotten in years. Maybe with the exception of a hot stone massage I got from Glen Ivy last year. I love how they mix in hot stone with swedish. Lorna was my therapist and she was absolutely fantastic. She was able to work out the knots in my back (which not many people can do), and she did it without leaving me in pain or feeling sore. I see some complaints about them selling you the 40% off deal, but honestly, 40% off is a great price. I know when I am being scammed, but this did not feel that way. I didn't feel pressured what-so-ever and I can openly admit that I bought three certificates for future use, and will be back to On Cloud Nine. read more

One of the most important things about getting massages is the ability to be able to get all loosed up (after a stressfull day) then hop in your car and take your tired (now rested and peaceful) Arse home so you don't want to drive to far after you are relaxed. This location is less than 5 minutes from my home and Lorna did the TRICK last night on me. I was so Happy and elated after my Massage. I have had a extremely stressful week with some serious matters going on at work. Side note: back in the day "Spearment Rhino" was next door LOL Very nice interior reception area, "Spa" fragrances greet you as soon as you step in the door, calming colors in the corridor and the rooms are private rooms. I did not hear anyone near me at all. The room was the correct temp, blankets clean and Lorna only spoke maybe once or twice when I asked her a question. She had a CD Player in her room (the CD skipped a few times - NOTE to self next time I will bring her a gift of a new CD LOL or it could have been the recorder) you have your choice of oils they can use (I did not know this until afterwards) I believe she used something Citrus on me (i'm allergic to Citrus BTW) but not their fault I could have said something but seriously I was in BLISS and figured I would take a benedryl later. Lavendar, Mango, Lemongrass, Tangerine and unscented are your choices for oils. Here is a tip they did not wipe the oils off of me, in some places they place hot wet towels off of you to remove all the access oil they used during the massage or they have a shower that you can wash it off afterward. I didn't mind because after confirming it was indeed Citrus that was used I raced home to scrubb it off. They offered a 40% off deal for first time visitors and you may purchase other treatments to be used in the future if you take advantage of the offer during your first visit. This was my second time here. I used the groupon for couples swedish massage. It's a good value but you can only use a groupon one time. We called to make an appointment and they had nothing available for another 4 weeks. We wanted it to be around Valentine's Day but the soonest appointment we got was February 26. We arrived a little early and had to fill out a paper for new guests. We then had to wait another 5 mins or so to get into our room. This place has a relaxing vibe and they are all very nice. Our massage was amazing and overall the experience was good. They also provided water, coffee, and chocolates. We also received 30% off the next service. Overall great place. We were regulars and found this place thru Groupon back when we first started. That's when they had the buy one get one free any service. Sadly last time we went the owner did not want to offer us the same deal we've been receiving simply because she didn't want to. Myself, a "massage addict" this is by far not a Glen Ivy experience. They focused so much on putting pressure (to the point i had to ask to be more gentle) they didn't even massage. So I got a groupon for a wax here. My appointment was for 9:30am and I got to to the place at 9:25. When I walked up to the door, it was still locked shut and I looked at their business hours and it said their open from 9am, yeah that's a lie. So I had to sit in my car for a few minutes until I saw someone unlock the door. I went in and met with Melissa. It was my first time getting a wax and Melissa helped me out. She explained to me what would happen, how I would feel afterwards and how to treat my pain afterwards lol She was very sweet and got the job done quickly but it felt forever to me since this was my first time getting a wax and I have a low threshold for pain lol Afterwards, she offered me to have me make another appointment for another waxing and I told her that I probably won't be doing that again lol on the other hand, she offered other services for 40% off so I went ahead and purchased a voucher for a 75 minute deep tissue massage with hot stones for $46. I could've made this review a 3 star rating bc of me waiting for the spa to be open when it should have been open but the reason I am giving it a 4 star rating is because Melissa was patient with me when I needed to take a break from the waxing and took in my quirks when I was trying to alleviate the pain I was going through lol She is super nice and very professional. Purchased a Groupon for a couples massage on December 1st 2017. Called a couple of months ago to schedule the service for my husband and I before it expired. They were unable to fit us in so I had to choose a much later date than I wanted. I had to call to reschedule due to a work conflict and was told that i would have to pay a fee since it was past the expiration date. As a customer service manager I was shocked that there was no accommodation made (just once as a courtesy) since had initially I didn't have much of a choice in the date of my service. I typically use Groupon to determine if I like an establishment enough to use their products or services regularly. Let me start by saying I really really wanted to like this place seeing as I have bought my mother two massage services and my mother-n-law a facial and massage. And now I just feel embarrassed that I would send them there and myself. From the outside this place looks really cute, but once you get inside you realize how dirty and rundown this place really is. First let's start by saying they want $140 for couples massage yet their waiting relaxation waiting area is bunch of k cups/ magazines from 2011/ dirty carpet/flooring. And 20 signs in there waiting for you to tip tip tip tip. Than as you make your way to the bathroom they have about 5 different painting strips and differ paint cards taped to wall as maybe their thinking about painting it in there oh and about 3 more signs reminding you to tip tip tip. So finally you get into the room the walls are cover with maybe candle wax? Or idk what and the table that they have the hot stones that they are going to place on you looks like it hasn't been dusted or cleaned in months. When you get undressed you need to walk to bed to lay down I was so grossed to touch the carpet with my feet it felt disgusting. Finally when I got massaged all I could think about is god are these sheets even washed? Oh and lastly the receptionist is the worst!! She called me to remind me of my appontinment (which is the only good thing) than I ask her can I add on a body scrub she said we don't have time for that? Great way to up sale. If your going to expect your clients to pay good money you need to have a business that reflects that. I really liked this place, and I thought the customer service was great. I got my first Brazilian ever here (got a groupon), and the esthetician made me feel at ease and calm. Wherever you go, your first brazilian will hurt, so forgo that thought right away, trying to get the place that hurts the least, cuz it all hurts. :) What mattered is that she was very informative and sweet. My groupon was accepted right away, and then I was offered no expiration on my groupon for the next two waxes I purchased if I purchase another service, and on top of that, the service price would be 50% off....which was awesome because I am getting married, and my fiance and I wanted to purchase deep cleaning facials. I just got off the phone to schedule my deep cleaning facial and my second brazilian, and she was very informative, letting me know what to do after my facial (to keep the "glow") and let me know that I need to stop taking my skin mediciation (i'm on retin-a to ward off breakouts). Hallelujah!!! Best massage I have ever had!!! Bought a groupon yesterday and hoped and prayed they could see my husband and I today fo a couples/hot stone massage, spoke with Alexis and they had nothing available, 20 minutes later she called me back to let me know they had an opening!!! I was sooo excited, I burst into tears!!!! We came into the spa and it smelled so nice, it was clean and the decor was very relaxing, they offered us water to prepare for our massage. We came in and much to my happy surprise, Alexis happened to be my massage therapist(which overjoyed me),my husband was just so happy to get a massage that he completely forgot his therapist's name(which is ultimately no surprise to me). I found this spa on Groupon. However, I called them directly and they were more than happy to give me the same price. We just got done with our first couples massage. It was very relaxing! The place is in an older shopping center but the inside is cute and clean. Anyways, I rather pay for services at a good price, than a foo foo place that has high prices. We only paid $69 for one hour. Most places charge over $100. Our therapists were Sabrina and Lee. They were very professional and really in synch. They worked on areas that really needed to be worked out. The room was clean and was prepared to give us the full experience. The spa receptionist was very informative and friendly. Just finished up a couples massage that I purchased for my fiance a couple months ago as a valentine's day gift. We both agree that the massage was AMAZING! We've done couples massages at other day spas, but this one was by far the best. I didn't catch my massage therapists name, but my fiance said Lorna was his therapist. Both therapists were so thorough, they covered every single part of our body and they were extremely polite/professional, which is a huge plus when you're lying almost naked on a massage table :) We were literally so relaxed that it was difficult to get up and get dressed. I also loved that they told us which parts of our bodies were the most tense... makes me feel like they were really paying attention to us and not just rubbing every customer the exact same way. The only thing we had trouble with was booking the appointment, but I buy groupons all the time so I know how busy businesses can get when they start offering services through groupon. We just had to schedule about a month out, but honestly the massage was so great it doesn't matter. I just want to mention it because there's always lots of horror stories about using groupons, but this one was definitely worth it!! I purchased the 3 Brazilian wax deal from Groupon as it was a great price. I was willing to overlook the things that I was unsatisfied with until today, my third (and final) visit here left me feeling jipped. There were things like: the fact that I had to call 3 times on 2 different days to schedule my first appointment, or the fact that after I finally got that appointment scheduled I was called and told the tech was out sick and I needed to reschedule hours before my appointment and the next time our schedules matched was almost 2 weeks later(super inconvenient), or the fact that they tell you that they'll call to confirm your appointment 24 hrs in advance but they only did that 1 out of the 3 times I've been there, or the few stray hairs I'd see after I showered when I got home after the wax. Today I was called at 2pm (not 24hrs in advance) and I picked up the call at work bc I was worried they were going to cancel on me again (my Groupon expires in 2 days so I would have had to forfeit my wax.) So I get there and the receptionist asks if I have my stamp card, and I tell her that unfortunately I left it at home. She then tells me I can either pay the $20 Groupon price or $25 to reschedule bc the card was my form of payment. I asked if she could pull up my promotion and visits on the computer (she even said she recognized me from my previous visits), and she said no and those were the only options. I paid the $20 because it was better to do that and receive the service than the alternative. Regardless I was pretty upset about it. Definitely a bad start to a service that I had already paid for in advance and I was really looking forward to. When she confirmed my appointment just a few hours earlier, she couldn't have mentioned that as a casual reminder? Why isn't that a policy here? My visits here were 4-5 weeks apart, so it's not on the forefront of my mind. Definitely not something I think a customer should be punished for and there is definitely an opportunity for their system to be updated. This small considerate reminder could have made all the difference. I brought this point up to the receptionist and she didn't have anything to say. To add insult to injury.. I arrived early and my appointment started 15 minutes late. I could have made it home and back with the card in that time and saved my $20.... The customer service was totally nonexistent in this situation. It was like talking to a brick wall and not someone who cared about making this experience a positive enjoyable one. When there are a bunch of companies that offer the same services as you do, customer service is what makes you stand out and keeps customers coming back. This principle has been paramount at every company I've ever worked for. I've worked for a salon/spa before as well and the system we used (Spa Biz) allowed us to make notes on customers appointments, so I know that if they are using it that making notes of a customers promotions and how many visits are left in a series can be done. Regardless of the technology issue, the receptionist didn't even offer to take a new blank card and put my previous 2 visits on it, and mark the third visit... a totally viable solution to solve this simple issue. It's not like I could come back and try to use my old card that was at home because it says "expires nov 23" on the top. Even though the ladies who performed my services were nice, I won't be back. I was so irritated by the front desk situation that I felt like I was on edge the whole time during my wax. This review is based off the lack of professionalism and availability of this establishment. The owner Raquel is very rude, argumentative and condescending. I can't make this stuff up. If they would get a new owner or someone nicer to run the place then it would be a great spa. A lot of the girls who do the massages and facials are great. There's a few with a bit of attitude or who don't seem to enjoy their job but I always picked a particular therapist who was always very sweet and approachable. I discontinued coming here because the last incident I had left a bad taste in my my mouth. I don't think I should have to argue with someone claiming I'm a liar and saying I never confirmed my appointment when I have receipts of phone calls made and voicemails left to confirm. Purchased a Groupon for a hot stone massage for my husband and he really enjoyed it! He was assisted by Alexis and she was friendly and professional. The environment is nice as well-recently remodeled. He was the last client of the day and he was not rushed. Will come back for a couples massage soon! read more

Just had a microdermabrasion with Melissa, shes such a doll and was very kind throughout the process. However i ended up with a headache after the procedure, which i still have right now..i dont know why, but i think it might be because it was my first time?? ( However during the procedure I was relaxed) I recommend people to try this place out its really cute and it was relaxing..when I was there. Maybe microderms just aren't for me...just took an ibuprofen for the throbbing headache =( read more
