I will be reporting this company to the California Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA). Thankfully, we had the battery checked elsewhere and learned there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. It is deeply upsetting to see an elderly customer pressured into buying something she did not need. Seniors deserve to be treated with honesty and respect, not viewed as an easy sales opportunity. In my opinion, trying to sell an unnecessary battery to a 90-year-old woman during a simple roadside assistance call is unethical and unacceptable. We trusted AAA to send someone who would help us, not someone who would try to take advantage of my grandmother.
