We got a flat tire and AAA brought us to this location. Their posted store hours clearly say they close at 7:00 PM, and we arrived around 6:40 PM. We asked the employee if they could please help us with ONE tire, but he refused and told us they had already been "closed" since 6:30 PM. This was extremely frustrating, especially because we were dealing with an unexpected flat tire and specifically came here based on their posted hours. When I arrived around 11:30M on a week day there was only one parking spot left. I walked in to a small line. It took me over an hour after dropping my car off to even get a quote for new brake pads and rotors, and I had to call them since they didn't call me. The quote was almost $200 more than the place I usually go to in LA for brake work. Then they said it won't be ready until 5pm. I left since I had to pick up my daughter from school and took it to my usual place the next day. It is a convenient location, so if you have a few hours to kill the Beverly Connection and CCC are very close by. But my impression is that they have a lot of business and not enough workers. Everyone looked and acted tired and overworked. And they are also way overpriced. read more

I went to go in for a tire replacement yesterday because my rear right tire was low pressure. Nice guys at the shop, able to fix the tire. However, they did a sloppy job. When I left the shop, my tire pressure light was broken and not reading any of my tire pressures, when it was working just fine right before I went to the shop. I called the shop to bring up the issue, but they told me I'd have to wait 1.5-2hrs to get it checked out, which was crazy because I was just there and the issue happened after they worked on my car. I'm not from the area, and so there was no way I could wait that long. When I went to my local shop the next day to check it out, it turns out the entire right rear tire sensor was broken, sheared off, mostly because of mishandling of the sensor when the tire was fixed. I got an estimate of $120+ to replace the sensor, almost the exact cost of replacing the tire! In addition, communication was poor. They gave me no explanation why my tire pressure was low, immediately just telling me I needed to replace it. There was also no explanation on the type of tire they replaced it with. They also tried upselling me on a $300+ battery, claiming that my car "cranked too slow" when it cranked just fine. They didn't even pop the hood to look at the battery. Sounds like a bit of a money grab if you ask me. Overall, 2 stars just because they did replace the tire and I was able to drive. But they did cost me nearly double what I paid for just the one tire by breaking the sensor. And plus the "battery assessment" was way too weird and came off as a way of leeching money off someone who wouldn't know any better. read more

I stopped in for a tire patch after noticing a screw in my tire. The repair itself was straightforward and the technician was honest that it only needed a patch rather than trying to sell me a new tire. The repair cost $65 and they completed it while I waited. The part that stood out to me was the interaction during the inspection. When the employee asked where the issue was, I began looking for the screw in the tire. After a couple seconds he asked me to pull the car forward, and when I didn't move immediately he raised his voice and repeated it very loudly. I told him that I didn't appreciate being spoken to that way, and after that the interaction continued normally and the repair was completed. In the end the work itself was quick and solved the problem, but the tone of the initial interaction made the visit uncomfortable. I went to Just Tires at 8425 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048 (August 1st 2026 at around 10:45 am) because I needed to take the car I am renting from Flexdrive for Lyft driving in for service. I didn't know Goodyear had merged with Just Tires, so I wasn't sure I was at the right place. I asked one of the guys behind the counter (he was about 5'8" tall, big/beefy built, short curly hair) if he knew about Flexdrive and if the place is a service center for Flexdrive. Instead of answering my question, he asked me "What do you need?" I asked him again if he knew about Flexdrive (I didn't want to commit to any service until I knew it was the right place to take th car in). Again, instead of answering, he asked me "What do you need?" and "What kind of car?". I told him it's a Mustang Mach-E, and I needed to know if he knows about Flexdrive because they will be the ones paying for it. He looked at his colleague, smirked, and said to him "Maybe I don't speak English" to him. So, he just insulted me because of my race (I am asian). His colleague who was about 6' tall, slim-built, in his early/mid thirties), decided to help me and confirmed with me that he knows about hw Flexdrive program, started explaining to me the process, and asked me to provide him with my name and phone number to get started. As I was writing down my name and number, I said to him (the slim & young looking guy) "That's the information I needed when I asked him (the big guy) if he knows about Flexdrive which he didn't answer." The big guy heard what I said, got upset, and said to me "I answered you. I said to you what you need." I replied to him (the big guy) "That's not an answer." Then he (the big guy) said to me "DO YOU KNOW WHAT, I AM THE MANAGER HERE. YOU CAN GO TO HIGHLAND" (he was referring to the Just Tires on Highland & Melrose Avenue). I said "That's fine." I asked him for his name right before I left. He said "LARRY, AND I AM THE MANAGER." I doubt he had given me his real name, but I believed him when he said he was the manager by his pompous behavior. I drove to the Just Tires location on Highland expecting another rude person behind the counter. I have extensive experience maintaining and repairing my own vehicles and am well aware of accepted safety standards regarding tire wear. While they cited "safety" as the reason for refusal, the threshold they applied was excessive and appeared designed to drive unnecessary tire sales rather than provide reasonable service. Customers should not feel pressured to spend hundreds of dollars simply because a repair is declined. They advertise tire repairs at $75, which is already high. After asking me to leave my car for up to three hours, they called me back in less than an hour--not to complete the repair, but to refuse service and upsell new tires. I then took my vehicle to another repair shop just three miles away. That shop made me aware of the tire wear without any pressure, performed the repair immediately, and had me back on the road in under 10 minutes. It was a family-owned business with excellent customer service. Their repair fee was only $33, and I tipped the repairman an extra $20 for his outstanding service and still saved money. Based on this experience, I would not return to this franchise location. My sister spent over $700 on new tires and alignment, less than 4 months later she got a nail in her tire and the guy tried to charge her $47 to patch. This is ridiculous! I woke up to a nail in my tire on Sunday morning. Luckily Just Tires was open so I inflated my tire and drove it over. They were able to add me to the queue of people waiting to get their tires fixed. I had been before, bought all new tires there because I had a flat last year, due to wear and tear. My tires hadn't been replaced since I had bought the car in 2018. When I came back to get my car, the tire was patched and covered by the warranty that came with my tires. They also repaired a part of my undercarriage that was taped up, after running over an object in the road. It had been bothering me for awhile and I wanted to fix it but just hadn't found the time and they did it on their own volition. Really appreciate it. Checked something off my list of things to do. My visit could have gone better. I saw online that I could come in for a free consultation, so when I arrived I asked for a diagnostic. The service professional asked me what was going on, so I told him that my tire pressure light had gone on and I had filled my tires with air, and the light was still on. I was worried that there was a nail or something else in my tire creating a slow leak and that it would be better to get it patched right away, rather than driving on it. The service rep told me there were three possible reasons, 1 that there wasn't enough air in the tires, 2 that there was too much air in the tires, or 3 that the light sensor needed to be adjusted. Since every time this is ever happened to me in the past I've actually had some object in my tire that eventually caused a flat, I explained that I wanted someone to look at my tires because I couldn't see any objects and that were in them, so someone would need to put it up on the thing and look at them from underneath. He told me that I had asked for a diagnostic, and that he'd given that to me. But giving me three possible options is not giving me a diagnosis. I asked him if there was a reason why he didn't want to have someone look at my tires, and he said no, why would he want that? We just weren't on the same wavelength, and I had a hard time hearing him because he was soft-spoken and reserved and also wearing a mask. So once again I asked if they could please look at my tires and make sure there was nothing in them damaging them. He explained what the cost would be if they needed to patch or that they would let me know if it was something more serious. The wait was going to be about an hour, so I left to get something to eat at a nearby cafe. A little over an hour later, the service reps called to tell me that my car was ready. I asked if they found anything, and he said no. Nothing? I asked. He said that my tire pressure light had to be reset, and that there was too much air in my tires. I actually had no idea that I had to manually reset my tire pressure light on this car. I've had it for 4 years, but the tire pressure light has never come on. Any other car I've ever driven, when the tire pressure light comes on, it's either because I have a flat or a nail. Or, the tire pressure light simply resets itself once I add more air to the tires and drive a bit When I came back to retrieve my car, I told the service rep that I hadn't known that that was something I had to do, and he said, I tried to tell you, but you wouldn't let me finish. Okay, I guess that's my fault, but to be honest, he never asked me if I had reset the tire pressure light. It only asked me if the light was still on. Anyway, not a big deal, and I'm sure he did everything by the book, but it was very awkward, and I kept feeling like I was insulting him or wasting his time for being a bother or being stupid. And by the end I kept apologizing. I asked how I can reset the tire pressure light by myself so I don't have to bother him again. He said, it's no bother, but then he didn't really tell me how to do it, he just told me there's a button on the dash. Back at my car, of course now I see the button and I guess I know what to do with it (if I remember next time). But this interaction doesn't really make me want to go back there. read more

Do not go to this location. I went in to fix a nail in my tire. They charged me $20 more than the location in Venice, which I was just at for the same issue 3 weeks prior. Then they told me they did a "complimentary" check of the car and I needed a new battery and had no oil in my car. Luckily, I had an oil change, which included a battery check, the day before and knew both of these were false (I also checked the oil level myself when I got home and it was full). I've been going to this location for years, from tire replacements to brakes, yes, they do breaks. My last visit was about a month ago, tire had a nail in it, and I was going to need a replacement, 20 minutes later I was rolling out with a new tire. I love doing community outreach. It is so rewarding to see the looks on people's faces and reactions when they are inside a moment of kindness. That is what happened to me today when I took my car to Just Tires to get the yearly Lyft inspection. When my car was finished and I went back to the receptionist, she informed me that it was $25 and I did not have the cash so I texted my best friend and he sent it via Venmo. Their atmosphere was nice so I was sitting in the lobby, enjoying the peace. Dasiah called me to the counter. When I went over to the counter, she was counting out a stack of one dollar bills and food has just been delivered. I immediately started joking with her. I said, with a smile on my face, "I'll take a little bit of that food, if you can spare it. She chuckled and kept counting the one dollar bills. Then I said, "You have enough dollar bills there to hit the strip club and laughed. Dasiah kept counting and replied, "These bills are for you. We all chipped in and we are paying your fee for the check-up. I was absolutely stunned and I said, "What...wait...what?!?" I'm not usually speechless, but I was this time. By then, my friend had sent me the money so I offered to pay for the services and they would not allow me to do that. Their act of kindness really touched my heart, and it made me feel very special. Terrible Service - Avoid at All Costs I came to "Just Tires" for a simple Uber inspection, and the entire experience was a disaster from start to finish. I arrived at 8 AM, as instructed over the phone, only to be told that the inspection person doesn't come in until 10 AM. Fine, I came back after 10. But then, the rude, unhelpful front desk employee told me I'd have to leave my car for an hour--FOR AN INSPECTION THAT DOESN'T EVEN REQUIRE THEM TO DRIVE IT! They kept my car for 3 hours and then called me to tell me it was not repairable. Their only motivation was to sell me a new tire. My tire had less than 3,000 miles and the nail was in the center of the tire. The cost of a new tire is over $500.00, I don't have a money tree and that is a huge cost. I then took the car to an independently owned tire shop and they repaired flat. I was told by the AAA tow truck driver that Just Tires never repairs flats, they only try to sell new tires.
