Do not hire this company. They regularly engage in fraudulent, dishonest business practice and will scam you out of money with their bait and switch price schemes. Be sure to read carefully what they provide in writing because it will not be what they told you verbally. They will quote you an initial price and then change the price to double the quote. I have reported them to the Maryland State Department of Licensing and Labor for Fraudulent Business Practices. And am in the process of filing a complaint with the better business bureau. We had a verbal agrement for $125 inspection charge which would be applied to the initial treatment if they did the treatment at the same time. I agreed to the initial treatment for $175 and then a quarterly charge of $125 for regular maintenance. But then they gave me a bill for $300 for 2 services in 7 days. And they refused to do a 1 time service $175. They wasted my time. And my tenant's time. And refused to honor our verbal agreement for the $175 treatment after wasting hours of my time. I have already disputed the charge on my credit card. But please be warned... they will charge your card even if they don't actually do the services. read more

I called to remove a hornets nest from a branch in a tree. It is a smaller tree so the nest was not terribly high up but it was built near the end of the branch not near the trunk. The company only provides the workers with extremely short folding ladders maybe 5'. They need a taller 8' or more folding ladder to properly get under the nest to spray inside as to disturb the nest as little as possible. This way they kill the queen & the majority of the hornets inside. The technician was very nice & we looked for a taller folding ladder in my garage but we did not have one. So he tried the one he had. It was too short. So he got the taller ladder that leans against the tree. While he tried it shook the branch & the hornets went crazy flying all over. Then he had to cut the branch with my cutters to get to the nest. Cutting the branch made the majority of the hornets fly out & go crazy. They were flying looking for he nest in it's original location above. He disposed of the nest while thousands of hornets still remained flying around angry. I told him a lot of people walk their dogs on the sidewalk where the nest was. So he sprayed something to get them to go away mostly. Within a couple of days the hornets were back in the same location re building the nest. I called back 4 days later & I was told it takes 3-5 days for them to go & they won't re build without the queen. So he dismissed me & my concerns while talking down to me like I'm clueless. So I gave it a couple of more days. Then I called back & they said someone would come back. A day later on the day they were due to return the manager called to say they do not guarantee one time services. They do not tell you this when you call to schedule nor does the technician say if I disturb the hive & they come back it's on you... *but he did say they do not supply the proper ladders for the job. * So now we paid $150 to have the hornets back rebuilding in the same location. The manager on the phone did try to sell me the quarterly plan that does have a warranty. I said no thanks & hung up. I don't recommend using them to remove hornets nests as they don't actually take care of the problem & you are left to finish the job on your own. read more

Careful of the money-pit they put you in. They do not notify you when your contract is being renewed so if you want want to cancel outside of the 30 day renewal window they will charge you a $150 cancellation fee. Given the number of different subscriptions that people have - it can be very challenging to keep track of beginning and end dates. Canceling was also a hassle as management was difficult to get a hold of and were not truthful about trying to get back in contact with me. Even though they serviced quarterly, $50/month + other fees just doesn't seem worth the cost. But besides management, the staff were friendly. read more

The job was simple, remove a dead squirrel from the attic. An odor in a very specific area alerted me to the problem.. I contacted On the fly pest solution company , as they claim to specialize in removing pests. The technician was advised that the attic was full of loose insulation. I asked him about a respirator or eye protection.. I was told he didn't need it. After about 10 minutes the technician comes out of the attic coughing and looking flustered. He says"I can't find the squirrel but there's definitely something dead in the attic" He says wait a few days and the odor will dissipate??? He says I see a burrow but can't find anything. Then proceeds to offer to add covers for areas that showed no signs of any pest damage. AVOID THIS COMPANY...they state pest removal is their specialty; in my experience the only thing they removed was 175 dollars. read more

These guys came out and didn't explain what was included for the fee, nor did they close or foam all the holes where pests where coming in between the rowhouses. A week after they left, I discovered more and more places where pests where coming in and yet they didn't seal the holes. When I called to complain - having to do the work myself - the service person kept cutting me off and was very rude. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I recently purchased a home in Patterson Park and when I first moved in, I hired a company to come out, do an assessment and secure any entry points that mice may be able to come in through. A few months ago, they came out again after I saw droppings in my dining area. The only thing they did was put down a few glue traps. Two weeks later, I saw more droppings. I found out about On the Fly through the Nextdoor App. I called, they came the very next day. They techs that came out were so thorough and explained how the mice were able to get into my home and what could be done moving forward to prevent activity. It took a few weeks because after they sealed all of the entry points - this time with a steel/copper product, the mice were trapped in my house and I still saw droppings - EVERYWHERE. But On the Fly came out every two weeks to monitor. A few were caught on traps, but the bait stations that they had put down were completely empty of the poison which is a great indication that they went bye bye! These guys are amazing and I will continue to use them and suggest them to everyone!!! read more

I had a horrible ant problem that my apartment could not get rid of. There were ants in my living room, office, and disgustingly in my bedroom around the window and phone jack. I could not figure where they were coming in and what they wanted. Tim came out and immediately got to work on figuring out where these ants were coming from and giving his best recommendations on treatment. He was very polite, and promptly on time. He texted me to let me know he was arriving and wore shoe covers to keep my floors clean. He was extremely professional and detailed in telling me what he was doing. He removed the phone jack to dust and bait for ants. He went around my baseboards and throughout the house to preventative treat even in places he did not see ants.
