I can't say enough positive things about this company! Today, my kids saw a snake in the garage and they came same day and caught 2 huge black ratsnakes! They also set traps, blocked possible entry sites into my home and applied repellant. The technician, Ryan, went above and beyond by taking time to show my kids the snakes and answer my curious son's many questions about them. He triple checked every where around my home to see if he could find more. Ryan was professional thorough and friendly! I had birds trapped in my range fan vent. Abdou came out pretty quickly, removed my range fan vent, put his hands in there and pulled out the birds. I was not about to do it, lol. Abdou also got his ladder out and put a mesh patch over the vent on the outside do the birds could not come back again. Great work! Fast and efficient. After complaining and requesting the manager call me upon returning from vacation, he called and heard my side of the story. He apologized for the rude behavior and mix up and the lady wrote me an apology letter, which i found very touching. Prior to my appointment, the company emailed me directly and called me for confirmation like I requested they do. When the technician showed up, as always, he was extremely polite and apologized again for previous mix ups and said the entire company was undergoing training and streamlining things. Now all customers will get phone calls two days in advance. It looks like they've taken real steps to address any lack of organization. In the past nobody urged me to sign a contract. I just called when I needed them. Last year I asked about a contract. In the past I've had worrisome carpenter ants but no more. Other services, too. I've been trying to get the owner out because he's a little more knowledgeable about my problem, but to no avail. He keeps sending other people out in his place. By far, they have received the best and most consistent ratings of any pest control business, and there is a good reason for that. Scheduling, and if need be, rescheduling has never been an issue. Crooks. Recommends treatment of termites based on left over shelter tubes from a treatment I had done over 8 years ago. Obviously a shake-down to try and strong-arm me into paying for another termite treatment. "Manager" recommends I check with the department of agriculture because he claims the regulation is that if you've had a treatment done in the past I need to have one done again. Basically recommending to me that I treat my house to kill termites that are already dead for several years. Trying to get me to shoot a dead horse by buying a $500 bullet. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. One of my neighbors alerted me that he noticed a basketball size "Bee Hive" hanging in one of two tall trees in my front yard. Despite the fact that it couldn't have been hanging more than 12 feet above ground, it was so well camouflaged that I had absolutely no clue that it was out there and had been walking right under it for months. It was a Saturday afternoon so I thought there was no way that I would be able to get a hold of anyone who could come out to remove it but all I kept thinking about is my neighbor and her granddaughter who are both allergic to bees. Luckily, I found this company on Yelp and they came out within hours of my call and removed the nest at a reasonable cost. Based on the other reviews, I see that they are not perfect but based on the way things went with my experience I would definately use them again. read more

I was having a problem with hornets getting into my garage. I called at least three well known pest companies, but was told that they would have to come and survey the situation. They also stated that they needed to be certain that the technician would be safe. Once they completed their assessment, they would give me an estimate. If I accepted the terms, they would then return and complete their work. All Star, to their credit, gave us a flat rate and came prepared to do the work. Al donned his safety attire and went to work getting rid of the hornets, and he guaranteed that they would not return. We were extremely pleased with his work and will switch over to All Star once our contract with the other company ends. read more

I've lived long enough to know, you're best to be very wary of service people who enter your home. For whatever reason, it seems that an overwhelming percentage of them are unscrupulous characters, who prey on desperate homeowners who find themselves in a bind.... ALL STAR PEST CONTROL HAS PROVEN ME WRONG. I had a mouse problem in my basement, the exterminator Al showed up, on time, and very professionally and courteously solved my problem in record time. This man had pride in his occupation. He wasn't interested in conning me or trying to take advantage of me or my wallet. He diagnosed my problem, fixed it, and only charged me a nominal fee for what could have been a very expensive solution. Beware of pest as well as All Star Pest Management! I called them for an estimate. The lady on the phone told me that the estimate is free unless their staff has to climb up to the roof. Staffs came and looked around and concluded the action plan. Then, at the end of their visit, they pulled out a ladder and insisted to climb up to the roof. At that point, it was obvious that they were just trying to get paid. Since I already paid for the $75, I went ahead and used them for getting rid of my mice problems. Guess what, they came and set up traps and baits. They are going to return in a few days to check on the status. No sealing the holes, no extra service that you and I can not do ourselves for fraction of the price. Beware of rats. That's all I am saying. read more

Honest, friendly, very helpful - gave me some tips on making sure no future weevils. Patiently answered questions about treatments and how/if they would affect my pets. Found All Star on line and since they were local I called them to remove a very large wasp nest from our shed. The technician came out and removed the nest without a problem. Something I wouldn't have wanted to tackle as it was a very large nest with a lot of angry wasps in and around it. He was very pleasant, gave me the price right up front and cleaned up the nest and took it with him. I would definitely use All Star for any future needs. read more

I am very impressed with All Star. I had a pest problem in my attic which was making it unbearable to sleep in my own bedroom (a scratching sound that was coming from the attic). Al came out and when I described my problem, he knew it was mice just from the sound I described. He took the time to go up to my roof and assess it and then also took his time up in the attic and set up traps all over. Within 24 hours, the scratching sound was gone completely! I could not believe it. Al came back to the house a week later, and boy was he right, many mice were caught in the attic, as we had a serious infestation. We had an inspector named Seddiq come out for an inspection of an older home we were planning to purchase. My Realtor had to call to try to locate him after he failed to show up during the expected window. When he did arrive we were with another inspector and he spent a few moments with the Realtor as she pointed out some obvious damage from carpenter bees and a location where the other inspector had been stung by bees on the roof. She came back to me a few moments later with a quote to get rid of the bees. Within twenty moments of his arrival he was sitting in his car talking on his phone and waiting to be paid. I asked our Realtor who had been walking with him if he had checked any of the termite risk locations the main inspector had noted. He had not. She had to tell him to go look at things and he did so grudgingly. This repeated three times with him having to be urged to go look at sites of concern before returning to his phone. Finally I begged the main inspectors pardon and we went to ask him if there were any problems. He presented us with the bill and quotes for two kinds of bee removal services. His entire manner was unprofessional and bored the entire time he was on the property. He spotted nothing that wasn't pointed out directly to him and had to be directed to even glance at areas of concern. As we paid for an inspection this was unacceptable. We are considering hiring another company to redo the inspection because we can't trust results from this one. read more
