The first time I used Serenity was when I had eye surgery last year. They did a great job getting…read moreme to the surgery and the follow-up care. Always on time. Never rude or impatient. But now, when I need their help for another surgical procedure, they refuse to answer their phone. They refuse to return calls. They don't answer my text or email. They have ghosted me. I have no idea why. No explanation. Nothing. I thought maybe they went out of business but they are still all over the web and have reviews from people this month. It makes me angry. Very angry. Update (about an hour after posting the above): Travis called to apologize and explain that he has been busy attending to the birth of his pre-mature daughter and a staffing issue. I understand that he is busy with some very important issues. But, that doesn't mean he can ignore his ringing phone, ignore voice mail messages, or ignore a text message and expect clients to be happy about it. Here's what I did in similar situations during a very long professional career: 1. Be prepared to answer the phone whenever it rings. Calls are automatically forward to your cell phone so this is not impossible. Just step aside and answer the call. Everybody will understand. 2. If you miss a call, make sure your VM greeting explains when you will be able to call back. Then be sure to schedule a time when calls can be returned. You might need to schedule more than one time per day. 3. Reply to text messages as soon as they are noticed. "Just got your text, calling back now." or "Will call back in xx minutes." 4. Always answer calls, texts, or emails the same day that you received them. Never let them go unanswered. Never leave your clients wondering if you are still in business. This is the sort of commitment that a professional career demands. I already gave Travis three opportunities to do the right thing (two calls, and a text). He only found the time to reply after I posted this negative review and sent him a strongly worded email. And, another service has been booked. So, I am not inclined to remove or change my rating. I did say that I will consider using his service next time. This time will be a lesson learned the hard way.
