I try to be very disciplined in leaving 1-star reviews, but this business deserves it. I came in with a scratch that started at my driver-side door and ended on my passenger door. I was quoted and given an estimate by an employee. I called back to schedule a drop-off and a woman who called herself the owner was so difficult to speak with. Not only did she over-talk me, but she bad-mouthed her employees. She followed by saying her employee shouldn't have given me an estimate. I said, well why is the employee working there then? The owner replied, "Well she's new." To which I responded, "Well why was she left alone then?" I continued, "I have an estimate in the name of the company and I'd like to drop my car off and for the estimate to be honored." After going back and forth for 18 MINUTES, she finally agreed to "allow" me to drop my car off so that SHE could take a look. I got to the business, and the owner was even ruder in person. Then she said, well this quote is no good. Let's walk outside so I can give you a real estimate. Then she said, what [former employee] quoted you doesn't cover repair. So the scratch will still be there. After more back and forth arguing bc she wanted to double the price on me even though I was holding the work order in my hand showing her, I just left. My time and well-being are too important. I saw other negative comments about storage fees being 3x the industry standard - it's true ($110/day). I saw comments about the owner being unpleasant - it's beyond true. Avoid this place. It's not worth the price or the headache.

That part remains a mystery) My father and mother were at my house to give him access to the vehicle ) Per my parents, he showed up right at 10 AM ( our scheduled time for service was between 9AM AND 10 AM. Shortly after that I received and phone call because I was working, Informing me about a "semi-stripped T-40 Torx BOLT HE COULDN'T GET OUT BECAUSE SOMEONE IMPACTED IT IN THERE" He would need to come back after i got that bolt removed because he didn't want to try to get it and make it worse. He would however, need to collect his 100.00 service charge. I had my dad pay him and he left without even atempting to get to the dent. I thought it was legit until i got home and saw that NOTHING OUTSIDE OF clearing the personal stuff from the trunk of the vehicle ( THAT I DID THIS MORNING) had been done, and the Torx bolt he sent me pictures of was perfect, not a mark on it. I was able to easily( in about 5 minutes) get to the dent with a standard Ratchet, extention, and a T-40 socket bit. STANDARD VEHICLE PANEL CLIPS were able to be removed easily with a panel pry tool (WITHOUT BREAKING THEM) Bottom line, i guess it was too much work to remove a couple bolts and clips to get to fixing the dent. His original quote was $350.00 which included his 100.00 service charge. If you are going to advertise Mobile service you should have all of the tools needed to remove panels with you in your service vehicle ( which was apparently just a standard white Hyundai sedan). NOT MY IDEA OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE OR BUSINESS PERSON. I WILL NEVER recommend Optimum Dent Removal to anyone. In fact they have made my list. When people ask me " Hey do you know anyone that does..........." My answer is "well i do know someone but i would recommend you NOT CALL OR USE THEM, and here is why" After getting home and removing everything he couldn't or didn't want to or lied about. I texted him, I told him that i was able to get everything out of the car easily and nothing was stripped like he said it was, i was not having him back here and to enjoy the 100.00. He read the message 2 hours ago and has not responded. He must be driving around collecting 100.00 service fees from unsuspecting people for doing nothing today. Oh by the way , $350.00 for one dent(that i was willing to pay because i do not have to tools or experience to do it myself) Is pretty high. Had I known he did NOTHING , I would not have given him the service fee, because he didn't provide ANY service. Took my sorry looking 2012 Toyota Corolla to Dave & Jim's for body repairs that were sorely needed…read more A 3 x 5 inch rust spot on the hood, rust on the left and right sides of the front windshield and on my hood the paint was literally flaking off (with no rust underneath). There were several other minor dots of rust here and there as well. This would be an investment for sure, but since my car works great and it being a Toyota, I felt this would help my car last another 5-8 years. In my mind the quote was reasonable. However, it turned out that the entire roof was rusted beyond just the one visible rust spot, so there was more work required than originally estimated. It took an extra week for them to make the repairs, but that was reasonable considering the extra work. Dave & Jim's stood by their original quote and did not charge me for the additional roof repairs. I am not only very happy with the repairs they made, but I am beyond grateful that they honored the original quote for the work done.
