The shop service experience was pretty much straightforward, dropped off the car talked to the insurance companies and they worked everything out. There was a small issue with paperwork but that was insurance company related and quickly resolved. They didn't have a few parts in stock so we had to wait an extra few days for them to get everything repaired. Quality takes time and this job shows how they took time and used proper skill to restore our vehicle to mint condition. Can't speak for costs since it was all covered by the insurance. The estimates given to the insurance company didn't seem overpriced to me though, but that's coming from someone with no prior body shop encounters. And hopefully this will be our last. First time I went to get the car I left work 2 hours early and drove almost an hour to get there to find scratches on the new fender. They buffed them out and I went back the next day to pick. I'm not happy with it but after seeing that they chipped and dented the paint in the door and touched it up with dark grey paint and all the marring in the paint from improperly wiping down the car I decided to take it home and take care of this my self. Luckily i detail cars on the side so I took it before it could get any worse. They're parking lot is small so they park the cars close to each other. That's most likely where the dings and chips came from. The bumper was sticking out and I was missing a mud flap. When I asked about it, the guy said that's a special order. They rigged a clip to fit into the fender to hold the liner. It's literally threaded plastic they screwed in and cut the part sticking out. Big gaps and the bottom of the fender stick out. Probably not the best place to take your vehicle for body work. Also my fog light was working. Found it in the trunk with the damaged liner they swapped out.
