Mark Kelly should be ashamed of himself. He somehow has a General Contractor's license. He made and submitted a contract to me to bring several projects "up to code" This included work on my water heater and the crawl space under my house: strapping ducts up off the ground, priming rusty pyramids, and installing a vapor barrier), to name a few. The work was sub par and incomplete. Other workers under the house took pictures of the mess and shoddy, sloppy, cheap work he was supposed to have done.Absolutely appalling. I had a Manometer Study furnished to Mark Kelly showing the exact slope of the foundation from front to back on a 5ft grid pattern. This study was furnished by a reputable and local foundation repair company. The fact that Mark Kelly is discounting the problem and then avoids communicating over the phone to solve the issue speaks to his lack of integrity and customer service. A 1 inch crack in my home's foundation was missed by Mr. Kelly. The crack runs down the cripple wall and through the footing. You could see daylight through it from the crawlspace. He should at least try to rectify the situation by running it through his insurance if he has any. At the very least talk to me over the phone. We may able to agree on something before I take him to court. read more

We scheduled Mark for a home inspection on a property we are in escrow on. Mark was super available, answering his phone right away and being flexible to come on a Sunday (Labor Day weekend, too)! My buyer needed an inspection on a 5 unit apartment building in Morro Bay - we called Mark on short notice and he was ready and eager to inspect for us at a competitive rate. At the inspection he was very attentive and pointed out issues, and explained ways to rectify the issues, to my buyer. I am impressed with my Home inspection. Just 2 weeks after closeing Escrow I had a major leak in my hall bathroom. I attempted to adjust the cold water stop and water began flooding under my bathroom sink. After reporting the plumbing issue I was denied by my Home Warrenty Co. I called Mark and he wrote a memo to the Warrenty Company explaining that he does not include photos in his Home Inspection unless the issue needs to be corrected. Mark gladly assisted me in obtaining the approval needed and the Home Warrenty Company sent a plumber to replace the stops in both of my bathrooms. His explanations were almost too thorough -- the attention to detail seriously caused my fiancée and I to question if we should back out. Had a home inspection done by Mark. Had questions about the inspection. Mark called and was VERY CONFORTIONAL about the question I was asking. Simple question like how old the water heater is and what inspection was done on the forced air heater. Which can be Very serious issues. He did not inspect either one only a visual on the water heater. The Forced air furnace is located in the attic. Mark said it was not accessible. Which is not TRUE.!! I have over 25 yrs in the HVAC TRADE. All Heaters MUST be accessible for service or replacement.!! The thermostat had a low battery display. A simple fix to test out the furnace two AA batteries in the thermostat. I feel like since this a condo inspection that he did the VERY basic inspection.
