We had a great time at this unpretentious club inside Park MGM. There were enough people to give the place fun energy, but it wasn't too crowded that you couldn't move about the place. And, moving about this place is one of the the things about this place to the that makes it so much fun. There are three main themes areas with music pumping to keep the night interesting. Staff, management, security and bartenders were all fun and professional. Ladies, if your feet tend to hurt on your heels, and you don't reserve a table, be prepared, there are no places to sit and rest. Knocking off a star for that. read more

Wow, what can I say about this place that hasn't been said before? It's awesome, and I'm so glad I went here. I went to Vegas with my nephew for my early birthday trip. I initially was planning on going out for big night club night and had tons of outfits lined up, he hit me with the fact that he didn't want to go to a night club. While I was kind of bummed, I had to respect his opinion. I did manage to get him to agree that we should at least check out the club downstairs (since we were staying in Park MGM). Little did we know this place really was a true gem. I don't think it gets the respect it deserves. I know LV is known for EDM stuff and colossal club productions and expensive bottle service, but this was different. From the time that we lined up to check in we were greeted with a smile and respect. Other clubs will treat you like livestock. Since we were not on any guest list, we had to pay an entrance fee, especially since it was after midnight. The folks doing security check are thorough but hella nice, and I think to me that was already a good sign. When club security is nice but thorough it's a sign, they really take their job seriously, and they also care about you, your safety as well as the safety of others around you and of the facility. From the time you enter the hallway with TV displays, cassette tapes, you already know they really meant it when they said this place was an ode to music and music lovers alike. To my relief and they didn't play EDM, but top 40 and other ish that bumped. I felt a little bad for the bartenders since they were super busy, but they were still cranking delicious drinks while the music was blasting and people waving everywhere for their attention. Yeah its hectic, but did you we have fun? Hell yeah! The main room with the dance floor was super crackin, the DJ played awesome tracks, both old and new, and I was dancing nonstop. Even the people around us were awesome, everyone was in a good mood and I think they owe it all to the vibes of the place, and the good music taht kept everyone moving to the beat. My nephew- who initially didn't want to even go to a crowded place found himself having a ton of fun dancing the night away. I think we literally danced nonstop from 1am-3am until the lights turned on. What an amazing place! I really have nothing else to say that I really enjoyed this spot, and would definitely return when I'm in Vegas, but with a guestlist this time. read more

Wow wow wow. This has easily become my favorite club/speakeasy on the strip. I prefer the vibe of this place over every other clubbing venue around it. If you're an old school hip hop/top 40 head this is the spot for you. I have literally been nowhere else that plays Bell Biv Devoe and other New Jack Swing interpolated with Lizzo and Madonna. If you're COVID conscious like I am, there is an outdoor/rooftop area section of the club. It also provides relief from the sweaty mess of people inside haha. The outdoor area tends to play older music, with the DJ and a bar inside a double decker bus. The inside tends to play, newer top 40 hits/hip hop music. The overall crowd tends to skew a little older than the rest of the clubs on the strip. I also love how the entire resort is smoke free! There's a free, cute photo booth for the memories that will email your photo. Hit up a promoter if you want free/reduced entry into this club. read more

The club is really cool, secret doors that spill into smaller rooms with bars. The music inside kept the dance floor mostly empty while the di outside kept the crowd dancing. The outside dance floor could be improved if they would at least hook up a fan to move the air in what could be considered a brick box heated during the day and no other air circulation. I came here on a Friday night with a party of 10 for a friend's bday party. Nice spacious table space. We weren't crowded or sitting on top of another table who was next to us. Main floor- hip hop. I liked how every so often, there were short performances from females AND male dancers. Enough eye candy for everyone to enjoy. Outside area with the double decker bus was cool. Perfect spot when the weather is just great. Speakeasy room was small and chill. Like super small and there were a few tables and chairs. I feel like this may be more suitable for grown grown adults who aren't wildin out. Only poked my head into the karaoke room but for those who are into that....def check it out. vibes are super great in there, and the decor was very cool and trendy! however. the "owner of the bar" bought my friend a drink and when she signaled to us to drag her away, he was incredibly emasculated and threatened to close the bar! so i probably wouldn't recommend this place just based on the fact that the owner of the bar has a tragically fragile masculinity and has to depend on women in their early 20s for validation as someone who is probably pushing 50. read more

Super fun spot. As we were walking by, in shorts, tank tops and flip flops, a club promoter asked us if we wanted to be on the guest list and said, we just needed to not be in beach flip flops and so we switched out to slide on Vans, which were acceptable. Loved that we were able to be in whatever clothes, and not pretentious "clubbin" hoochie clothes, lol. We were the only people aside from staff, wearing masks. 2 free drink tickets per gal, which gets you either a glass of champagne or a cranberry vodka which is all cranberry with a hint of vodka. Staff were all nice to us, and fun. There's a cool wall of cassette tapes, with a secret door to the speak easy, with fun 80s music playing, and cool old school albums as decor, which you can touch and look at. Outdoor patio area with a double decker bus and DJ was cool. Fun music all around. 1000% sure we were the old folks there, but whatever, we had a good time. This place is a BOP! We got put on the list because we were dancing around The Park casino floor. We waited and thought we'd go up to check it out. The red hallway was so fun and I was already a fan. The bar & dance floor space is pretty tight! But the way the bar back lowers when the dancers come out is SUPER cool. There are midcentury lighting fixtures and floating fireplaces. The DJ was really great the night we went up. We were told about the secret door behind the wall of cassette tapes & we found another one by the lockers. On The Record is a small club/lounge inside of Park MGM. Cover is $40 for guys but getting on guest list is easy and its free. If you stay at Park MGM it is free also. Typical club line set up. The hold you in front to make it look busy, but inside it is pretty dead. Dress code is stupid, people were getting in with shorts and t-shirts. Set up is decent, nothing compared to the big clubs in vegas. The "speakeasy" is a small hidden bar area. The door to get in blends in with the OTR cassette wall. They do keep headcount so once it is reached, they hold you outside until someone leaves. Free to sit anywhere, music is not as loud. Drinks at the bar and speakeasy cost the same. Typical overpriced drinks. Old Fashioned - $17 Jameson Ginger - $16 Decent spot to hang if you are staying at Park and can get in for free. read more

This place was so cool!!! A promoter outside of MGM was able to bring our party of five to the front of the line immediately. They required masks inside due to COVID, including on the dance floor. We were able to pick a record off of the wall and bring it to the bar. Then, you pick a song off of the record and the bartender will make you a drink inspired by that song. Of course, I picked Mamma Mia off of an ABBA album. My drink was so good! I have no idea what was in it, but I wish I asked so I could make it at home. They have vinyls for sale at the front. However, you can't buy the ones that you bring to the bar. Recommend this to anyone in Vegas!!! read more

I reserved table service for the first time through the promoter Robert Gianoulakis. He was very accommodating and responsive throughout all my questions and concerns. When we got to the club he walked the 12 of us into the club. I was very happy with the area he held for us as we were a large party. The servers and the vibe was right up my alley. Little did I know that 04/26/2023, Flo Rider would make a guest appearance. This had to be the best club experience. From the service, to the music, and the amazing servers, I can guarantee that this won't be the last time I will be attending On the Record. Checked this place out for the first time a few weeks ago and had a blast. It's a new spot at Park MGM, and a lot more fun than the big nightclubs because you feel at home in here. It's a lot different from most of the places in Vegas, they have live music, sometimes a band, even these really cool karaoke rooms if you wanna rock out with your friends. There's a cool patio out back that's sorta like an inside/outside too. I read a lot of reviews of this place and it just looked interesting so my wife and I had it circled as a place to check out. There is a lot going on with the different rooms which we like. So many lounges and speakeasy places are boring after awhile no matter what they do. This place knows what it wants to do and they deliver that experience. There is something here for everyone. They even have pinball machines for people who want to get their game on. The bus is a really cool element and I like all the cassette tapes on the walls that are there to give a classic feel without being cheesy. The DJ booth is half of a car which was also cool. If you want to get your nostalgic side on, this is a place to go and scratch that itch. My wife and I ordered a couple of drinks and enjoyed the scenery. We did some people watching and listened to some music. It gets pretty slammed in here so go earlier if you want to avoid the sardine can feel. Also, if you are a big dancer, the floor is small and is almost there just because they need to have one rather than making it a focus. This place is LEGIT! Such a fun place with good vibes and AMAZING music. The DJ was awesome playing oldies, hip hop, and everything in between. The inside is really cool with vintage/retro inspired decor: old cassette tapes line the walls, neon lights, old school television sets, mood lighting, and unique surprises around every turn. Workers are friendly here & the dress code isn't too strict so if you happen to go to a Knight's game then want to venture on over here in your Knight's attire you as myself & my friend's have never had a problem getting in. One night they were actually giving away free drinks for wearing Knight's gear. SWEET!! Only till midnight though. A few of my friends & I really like to come here. The music is good & I LOVE the little shows that the performers put on every once & awhile. I'm not sure of the name of the rooms but outside the DJ is in a red bus, cool scene when looking up & seeing the surrounding hotels. There's actually a little door in the corner that you can order food from. I've never done this nor can I say I've ever seen anyone eating food there...hum? There's a red phone booth that is actually the door way from outside to inside near the bathrooms. Then there is big glass doors that allows you into the bar right next to the outside area. I had no idea that the performers come out onto that stage there & does performances as I've only seen this once. I believe I've posted a video here. Then you go past this bar to the bar on the other side that may actually be the main bar that we hang out @ a lot. The bar shelves actually drop down & a stage is on top of it & the performers come out & do a little dance skit for us. Super cool!!! There's plenty of places to do table & bottle service which I haven't done yet. There isn't any place to sit unless you can get away with sitting @ a table that hasn't been bought yet or your get yourself a table. Then there's the hidden Speakeasy room behind the wall of cassette tapes. I've been in here a few times. Its small & they have nice, heavy glasses but you can't take them out. You have to put your drinks in a plastic cup on your way out. I think there may be another hidden room in this place but I"m not sure. I think the next time I go I may inquire on this. Great thing is I've been here through Evenbright events & through my host. I'm able to get myself & my friend's on the guest list so we get in for free (even guys) & us ladies get two drink coupons which is good for champagne or vodka. Drink coupons are usually for the ladies. Which is good cause drinks are a little pricey ($17 for well vodka) but hey then again it is Vegas. It can get a little confusing when going up to the club to find the right line to stand in to get in as there are a couple & they do have signs out stating what the lines are. Seems like the one for guest lists or non-guest list is to the right of the entrance. The lines can be long but don't let that scare you they do move kinda fast. Best bet is to get there a little bit before the club opens @ 10:30pm. If your not into big, huge night clubs & like small, lounge like ones then this definitely is a place to check out. Since this is located inside Park MGM if your going to go on a night of a Knight's game get to the hotel or down near the Park way before the game gets over if its a 7pm game, usually gets over by 10pm/10pm cause traffic is horrible to get down here & parking is crazy too if your going to use the parking garage. They will charge you more to park in it on a game night. I took an Uber from home one night & left my house @ 9pm & it took me an hour to get down to the Park where it normally takes me about 20 minutes. The Park gets busy & its a fun place to hang out after your done @ the club or before you go in. Check it out & have fun!!! read more

The things I liked: - cool old school memorabilia decorations like old concert posters, record albums, cassette tapes, old TVs, a cool Dj booth that's a half of a car, pinball machines. Brings back a lot of memories - outdoor patio with a bus that was converted to a bar and Dj booth - small private venue if you see any artists perform here. Wyclef came out of nowhere and performed and made the night fun. - some cool weird performances they have the girls do on stage that are kind of nothing like you've seen before - Things I didn't like: - $16 drinks but hey it's vegas and that's the norm - very small so you have a hard time walking around without bumping into people - not many bathrooms - very small dance floor (if you would even consider it a dance floor) - seemed to be more guys than girls the night I came Overall it's worth coming to check it out.
