I came to On the Record for my birthday and had a great time! The theme of the club is really cute and it also has a hidden speakeasy with great cocktails. Love the vibe of this speakeasy! If you're looking for EDM music, this is not the place for you. But, if you're looking for old school hip hop/chill music, this is the perfect place to be! We were given two tickets for free champagne and were able to get in for free the first night since we had tickets to see Silk Sonic. The second night, a promoter asked if we wanted to be added to the list and we said yes (of course). On the Record has two areas that play music, one inside and one outside. The one inside is set up like a normal DJ booth/dance floor, while the outside area has the DJ spinning tracks in a bus. They also have a few private karaoke rooms along the back wall that looked like fun. While my husband and I were walking around, we stumbled upon another speakeasy! It's been a while since I've been here, but after attending the Knights game last Friday and meeting up with my very convincing sister in law, we decided to go. My sister in law has a friend who has a hookup here, so we got a table for free, which was so nice. It didn't take us very long to get in, but it also didn't take a long time for anyone waiting in line either, which is super nice. This "club" is literally the best and honestly I barely consider it a club. It feels more like a house party. The best part? There's too many to name so I'll try my best to name as much as I can. There's no dress code for starters. Like I said, we went to the knights game that night, so I was literally in leggings, a knights sweatshirt and a jean jacket. There are also so many cool hidden spots here. There's an outdoor area that makes you feel like you're in London with a double decker bar bus. They're even playing separate music out there. There's also a hidden karaoke room, too. I'm not sure if you have to be on some secret list to get in there. There is also a hidden bar room, with really cool craft cocktails. That's behind a hidden door along the hallway on the way to the bathroom. I finally got to go in here this past time and it's just SO cool. They also have a little stage area where occasionally there are dancers that come out to perform to different songs. It's seriously so cool. And the tables? Definitely worth it, but that's also coming from a local who is spoiled and hates to nightclub without a table haha. I love this nightclub because they don't play that loud house music. It's all the tunes we grew up with and love. It's literally a millenials dream! This will always be my favorite nightclub that doesn't really feel like a nightclub. The security here is a joke. My husband and I were walking through the MGM casino and was invited to come to here, we literally just got back from walking the strip and didn't have time to go to our room and put anything away. My husband asked the front person if we can bring our vape in, and the person said it was fine as long as we don't use it. While we were waiting in line, the security guy was taking forever with the four people in front of us and wanting to recheck people's bags even after another security person checked them. As we were still waiting in line another security worker opened up another line but ended up taking all the people behind us, which caused us to wait even longer. When it was time for our turn, security saw our vape pen and told us we had to throw it away, even after we explained the person said we can bring it in. Our vape pen was pricey so of course we chose to just leave instead of dealing with the whole situation. But I can see why this place is asking people to come in for free. I came here with my girls on Friday Night and this place was poppin'! We had a table near the DJ area by the dance floor. This was my first time at On The Record and I really enjoyed it. I'm not sure what type of music is on normally but there my fav, hip-hop, was played all night long. Best of all was that there were dancers with amazing choreography dancing on stage to the music. Overall the vibe was really chill and reminded me more of a lounge/concert rather than that of a club. The only negative was that it got pretty chilly toward the end of the night since our table was facing directly toward the exit leading to the outdoors. There's also a photobooth near the exit, which is the perfect way for you to remember your night. The description mentions karaoke but I didn't see any there. Perhaps that something that happens during happy hour. I'd be interested to come back to check it out! read more

On the Record was PERFECT! If you want an easy atmosphere to dance without the Vegas clubby experience, this is the place for you. The crowd was a little order and so respectful! No one grabbing you, no one trying to dance up on you. At one point a guy told my friend, "I just wanted to tell you how pretty you are, nothing more. Have a wonderful evening!" Then he left and went back to hang with his friends. It wasn't a line, it was a kind gesture. The best part of On the Record is the open air area in the middle. The DJ is inside of a giant double decker bus. So.Cool! Inside the DJ spins from a car. Seriously, the whole vibe is the best, not to mention the playlist was right in my pocket. Fortunately there wasn't a line when I rolled here after 311 day part 2 concluded. Drinks were easy to get and the DJ played some killer 90's alternative rock & hip-hop tracks. We spent New Year's Eve here and it was so much fun! I loved that they didn't pack it tight, so there's space to walk around and dance. The music was amazing. All good old school hiphop, disco, soul, rnb. Mixed crowd. The most polite bouncers I have ever met. One of our friends ended up throwing up since he didn't eat dinner before and was mixing drinks, and probably dehydrated from the Vegas weather and they didn't kick him out. They just told him to put sunglasses on. Lol. When it came time to leave, they helped him out through the elevator since they were scared he would fall down the escalator. Definitely won't be coming back here again. Came here with my group this past weekend July 8th (Saturday) . Was on a legit guest list promoted through TikTok that said we ALL would get in free both females / Males. Showed up around 11:30pm guest list promoter had us free before 1am in text confirmation. FALSE! Front line staff by door was BEYOND rude and had stank faces. I showed them the confirmation text from my promoter and they still charged us guys $70 and still had females free, (mind you promoters text are saying "free before 1am" So right there was an issue. Given the time it was we had no where else to go with out dealing with crazy lines so we ate this admission fee, even with that it took us SO long to get it cause there is about 4 other lines they cater too, so basically guest list is pointless. Got in and WAS BEYOND PACKED! I do Vegas all the time, have done VIP and regular admission. Do NOT go to this spot unless your VIP or have a table. It was shoulder to shoulder packed in the narrow dance floor. Don't let the Tic Tok videos hype you up! You can NOT go outside unless your VIP. The hidden speak easy room was booked for private event so was not able to check that out. Mind you this is a lounge not a standard Vegas club, but absolutely not worth the $70. There's so much hype over the Hip Hop being played, you can barley hear the music and the music was not even a vibe. Also Usher do NOT go here every night his concert do NOT bank of that. Yes I know it's Vegas and they cater to Females, but again I repeat if your NOT doing VIP and your willing to waste $70/$80 at door fellas plus drinks go for it, this spot is NOT it at all. I'm going back to Vegas July 21st with my group and will be doing a real Vegas club cause it's more worth it. We spent about 35min in here and was beyond disappointed and left, will be spending money elsewhere and going through promoters who honor their word/confirmations. read more

Went in with a group of gals through a promoter, which I recommend. We got a table and bottle service, but I do not imbibe. The gals were friendly and attentive. The space here has a funky design with little nooks to find private karaoke rooms, as well as a hidden "speakeasy" bar area. The main space is a little awkward and doesn't quite facilitate dancing. I appreciated that the volume was more appropriate than a typical club, but I didn't really care of the mix of music playing that night. Cute afterparty club venue. This was advertised as the spot to be after Ushers concert. It's located inside the Park MGM Hotel. Drinks were tasty while still tasting like alcohol. Admission was included in our concert ticket package but cover charge could vary between $20-$60 depending on the event and time of entry. We stayed until around 2:30am before heading back to our hotel room. DJ was on point but could have played more up-to-date hip hop. There are quit a few "side-rooms" with various themes for more intimate parties and a separate VIP room we did not have admittance to. The DJ in the VIP room did play a better set of music just based off of what we could hear. read more

Managers and Security are pure trash! Our group of 6 arrived at 1:03, free admission for ladies ended at 1:00am. We paid the cover, no problem. We inquired about what time the location would close, and the manager stated 3:00am. We paid the cover with anticipation that we would be able to enjoy the location for at least 2 hours. Well 1 hour later, the security is yelling and screaming to tell everyone to leave. Literally screaming in a rude and condescending tone to tell guests to leave because the location is closed. We talked to the manager on our way out, and he tells us "We tell guests 3am, but if we are not making money, we close early!" He then proceeds to tell us how terrible his boss it, in an effort let us know this is normal behavior and no one cares about lying to their customers. I really enjoyed the music at this venue. I danced all night. The staff were actually polite & cordial which was extremely refreshing.

Came here because a promoter invited us and implied that Usher would be there and would perform at the after party. Made us get there by 11:15pm, waited in line for an hour to get in and then waited until 3am at closing and Usher never came out to say hi or perform. We saw him pop his head out of the VIP section around 2:45am but that was it. False promotion by promoter and social media pages, please don't make it seem like we're gonna see a celebrity on if we're not. Spoke to security on the way out and they told us Usher usually stays in the back VIP and rarely makes an appearance. Will not be coming back! So much fun! Went for an unforgettable girl's Vegas birthday trip. We had a bottle table which made it easy for us to have a seat at all times and fast access to drinks. The music was on point for our ages...haha! 90's to 2000 hip hop. When it was too hot inside we danced outside under the stars! They have two djs. One inside and one outside. Professional dances are performed that are entertaining. Also, they have a speak easy and a Photo Booth to take pics for you. That was great for taking group shots! I asked security and she told us the truth. Usher dont be coming to the club and if he does, he stays in VIP so youll never see him.
