Tony may have some customers that like him; apparently they haven't been dissatisfied with his service, otherwise they'd likely get to know his angry, revengeful side. His service was inadequate and lacking. When we reached out to him about it he became very upset, unprofessional, and immature. We then wrote a review only for Tony to search for our personal facebook page from his wife, Kristina's profile and personally threaten our staff and threaten to write a horribly untrue review of our business, so we deleted the bad review, which I suspect has happened with numerous other people he has threatened. UPDATE, after writing this Tony has messaged me that I must be unhappy in my life and that I should seek professional help and said he knows my wife and she wouldn't be happy with me writing this review.. Tony from On The Spot Carpet cleaning showed up at our business smelling like marijuana and was highly unprofessional, leaving ladders, cleaning materials and overall having a bad attitude. He was brusque on the phone and when we were speaking he received a phone call and over hearing that conversation was wild. My review was removed - not sure why. So I am reposting because I believe in giving praise where it's due. Moving sure is stressful, and I am so happy to say that the cleaning part of the move was the least stressful and most successful thanks to Tony at On-The-Spot-Carpet-Cleaning. Tony came recommended so I called him and he was accommodating and willing to do the big job. I thought I was going to have to call one person to clean the carpets, another to clean the house, and I thought I was going to take a load of garbage to the dumpsite. This company can do it all. The carpets were very dirty from wear and tear, 2 dogs, and 6 people trampling in and out for two weeks helping me move. Tony was willing to work with my budget, set a date, showed up on time, did the job beautifully and restored the carpets to almost new. I was amazed at the amount of work he did, and his follow through. He even found my daughter's earring somewhere in the bathroom and made sure he left it for me. First let me say that Tony is an absolute machine. That guy will hustle the entire time he is there. His team of guys he brought with him were polite, professional, clean cut, and hard working. I am more than happy with the work they did for me, and let me tell you this was no easy move. I lived in a fourth floor walk up that they moved me out of. Now the carpets. Tony came over and couldn't have been more accommodating in terms of the excessive dog hair from prior tenants and working around my busy schedule. I was worried because I am constantly in and out of the house and was worried that the carpet would stay wet for at least a day or two but luckily that wasn't the case. Apparently he has this new High tech vacuum systems and my carpet was dry by the time he left. Like I said my carpet was filthy with dog hair, dirt, human hair and other gross filth and by the time tony left it was spotless! Ok it's sat the 27th my wife spills wine all over our rented vacation home. It not ours but a family's friends time share. We call Barry's carpet cleaning and there's no answer. Next we call oxi clean carpet cleaning because we saw the great reviews and are desperate so the owners won't bill our credit card for the damages of the house. But the lady says we don't specialize in wine removal because we use a dry bonnet cleaning method. So she suggested we call Tony from on the spot carpet cleaning. When I called he said he was off this weekend but said he better come now anyways because you don't want to let the wine set in. We were located past Yankee point just south of the highlands. He arrived right on time and got on his hands and knees for at least an hour and a half. I called and he was polite on the phone and came the next day. He gave me a quote for about 150-180 for 1 bedroom and an 8 foot hallway in length. I specifically asked him on the phone if he moved furniture for the cleaning and he said yes. Needless to say Tony came and prior to starting the job was showing me videos of him when he was a bodyguard and other things. I had no idea what this had to do with cleaning our carpets. He did show us some before and after pics of soiled carpets which I appreciated. Bottom Line: He DID NOT move the furniture. After the job was done, NO FURNITURE was moved. I was not home before he finished and left. I looked over the job, moved a small humidifier and there was still stains under there. Waste of time and a big disappointment! Mind you it was raining and the end of the day and he went the extra mile to help me out and I really appreciate it man! Little known fact: he also has a junk hauling service which also has great prices. That was another huge hurdle that he helped me get over, because I had a bunch of unwanted furniture and things out back and on the side of the house that looked just awful. I don't know where "Tony" was when I called them to clean a carpet, a rug and some stairs. The total area was about 300 sq ft. There are about 12 stairs and two landings. They were fast, polite and gone in a minute, leaving my carpets soaking wet and, as I could see when it all dried a day and a half later, still dirty in the same spots that were there when they started. I know stairs cost more, but the total charge, the one we had agreed upon was then padded by taxes, materials, equipment charges, etc until it was far beyond that price, with really awful results. Maybe the guy is no longer there. For Tony's sake, I hope not. read more
