This place is THE WORST! I collect DVDs and I USED to like to go to this place because all of their…read moreDVDs are supposedly $1 each unless marked otherwise. Some DVDs are priced higher with color-coded stickers to indicate the price. I stick mostly to the $1 one's that aren't marked, but would occasionally pick up a couple higher priced ones. However, the last few times I've gone in, there's one particularly rude and unpleasant employee there who would go through my unmarked $1 DVDs and begin to pull out ones and say, oh this one's actually $3, or oh Disney Movies are actually $3, or comedy specials are $5. Totally ridiculous. Last couple of times I went in I just told him to keep the ones that weren't $1 and suggested that he go over to the dvd section and put stickers on the ones he thinks should be more than $1. Well, I just went back again today, and of course the same guy was there and started to pull the same nonsense. I said to him that the sign says $1 unless otherwise marked and all the DVDs I had weren't marked. He asked me if I wanted him to go through my stack and pull out the ones he didn't want to sell for $1. I told him to forget it and to keep them all and I just left. The only reason to go to this place was the $1 dvds. All of their other prices are ridiculously high. I saw a used Black Sabbath Masters of Reality repress there for $25! I will NEVER shop at this dump again. Avoid! UPDATE: In response to the owner's comments; I'm sorry, but your justification is BS. Your sign at the DVDs clearly says that if a DVD isn't priced, it's $1. It doesn't say "most" are $1. If a dvd is supposed to be $3, put a price on it, otherwise take down your misleading sign. I'm fine with paying more for a dvd. The price isn't the problem, the problem is your misleading bait-and-switch tactics and your rude employees. The first time your employee pulled this stunt, he didn't even tell me he was charging more. He just added more to my total. Luckily I calculated in my head how much it was supposed be before I went to the counter, so I knew something was off. When I called him out on it, he pointed to an unmarked dvd and said, "oh, comedy specials are $5". Give me a break. Do whatever you want, I won't be back, and I'll be sure to tell as many people as I can to avoid your store.
