After shopping around places for the best offering price to sell my engagement ring I accepted an offer of $3000 from Mitchell at Victoria Goldia. Due to the cut of the diamond, Mitch explained that while the diamond was beautiful the cut was preventing a better offer. Mitchell spoke that if he were indeed able to sell the ring for a better profit than expected that he would split the profit with me. I didn't put a lot of "stock" into this claim but accepted the offer nonetheless. Less than a week later Mitchell called me and told me to come pick up another $500, since he was able to sell the ring for $4000. I was in complete shock! He didn't have to do this. I would never have known and had already resigned myself to having the "deal" be done and over. Yesterday, I drove to his Nashua, NH location and he handed me $500 in cash. He and his lovely wife, Dianne, are such personable, kind and truly good people. I will be a repeat customer and will sing their praises to anyone looking to conduct business with fair, honest people. The women here are wonderful! First tried Shnayder's and the man wouldn't even give me a quote because he said it was no where near what I wanted. (Tried there before, was offered 1/4 of the price I eventually sold that piece for) Next came here because of all the wonderful reviews. Was trying to sell one piece because I thought I could get more money for it. The women looked at the piece I was wearing noticing it was a cheaper less timeless/desirable piece and wanted to know why I didn't want to sell that one instead, (because it was a butterfly) since it wasn't as good a piece. She suggested I keep my better piece and offered me very close to the same amount of my better piece and even offered to GIVE me a similar, cheaper piece to replace my piece on top of what she offered me for the piece. I left with the money I needed, a pendant I liked, and got to keep my better more exspensive piece as well. Never expected such honesty and generosity from a pawn shop. Outstanding customer service and the absolute best prices around! Today was the first time I ever went to sell gold, so I called a few places and got a feel for the price and Victoria Goldia was hands down the fairest prices around. They were only about 2% of spot! so I felt extremely satisfied with the exchange. On top of the fair exchange price, they were also very kind people.
