I do not recommend this place at all. I went to sell some kids' clothes. They say clearly on the signs all over the store and in the front window 'we pay $$$ for your clothes'. I had two medium sized bags that I brought full of gently used and sometimes brand new with tags on them pre-teen girls clothing. It was mostly Old Navy Jeans and Old Navy shorts with some other items mixed in. They took only 4 items and gave me a measly $6! That is not top dollar. It comes out to around $1.50 each. Then they jack up the prices. I saw pairs of kids shoes on the shelf for $15! I can go to Walmart or Payless and get kids shoes brand new for that price! Outrageous! Or I can go to a yard sale for gently used clothing. They took forever and did not call me to say they were done. I had to call them. The wait staff were not organized. Donations all over the place. All of my clothes were very high quality, name brand, gently used, no tears, stains, or excessive wear. Their reasons for not taking my donation was ridiculous at best. For instance, because a very clear pre-teen dress that said "M" for medium didn't fit into their 0-20 sizing. Another pair of jeans that had an adjustable waist was 'too stretched out'. Then I had to wait to get my money from them at the register and a very slow individual took her sweet old time checking the person ahead of me out. They are not worth the headache of getting everything together, hauling over there, try to find a spot in that tiny parking lot, wait forever for assistance because heaven-forbid they have more than one person sorting clothing donations, and worry about pests traveling home with you. You had better just try to sell on Facebook, Craigslist, etc. I guess they forget that their inventory is based off of donations, so I'm not sure why they feel they can be so picky. I had donated here one other time. I got a lot more for my donation then and they took more of my donation. This was a few years ago or so. I don't know what has changed. It's a waste of time trying to donate to this place. read more

We went there to sell some of baby gears my son grew over. Process was easy and the staff was friendly. We ended up spending all the money what we received there to buys some random clothes; like baby air force jacket, a cool looking tiger on the back kind of jacket and etc... it's fun place to look around. I'm picky about second hand clothes and usually don't buy but their clothes are clean and well organized. read more

I was very disappointed by the unorganization of this store. I am used to going to other OUAC locations that are neater & more organized. Not this store. I was looking all over the place for the size on the sign above the rack & never found it. They had enough people behind the register that someone could have been out on the floor organizing. read more

The owner of this place is so rude! The only reason I have gone back is because of the good deals, but not anymore. They wouldn't let my 4 year use the bathroom because of COVID while many places do let you use their restrooms. He said they didn't have the capability and trying to adhere to state guidelines, but he wasn't wearing his mask the whole time, even took it down to talk to my kids.... then in the end after asking why I should be the exception, well, because my kid was going to poop her pants. He said, "Get out!" While my little was asking why he wasn't letting her use the potty. Horrible!!!! read more

The hours listed on this website when I asked Siri to find Once Upon a Child in Clarksville brought up that the business hours were from 12-5 on Sunday. So when I drove 25 minutes to get there at 12:30 they were closed because their hours were actually 1-6. I could not stay until 1:00 so I decided to come back later that day. I called them at 3:30 that same day to ask if I could still bring my things to sell today because I didn't want to waste another 1 hour round trip that I had already done earlier the same day (I didn't say this last part on the phone to the business). They asked how much I had and I said 2 bags to which they responded that was fine as long as I got there at 4:00 because they close at 6:00. I pulled in the parking lot right at 4:00 but when I brought in my two bags, they said they would only accept one bag and that if I wanted to both bags to be looked at, I would have to come back tomorrow. I said that I had called just 30 minutes earlier and was told they could take 2 bags today. No one acknowledged that I had called even though I recognized the lady's voice I talked to. I then said I had come earlier today due to the hours listed when I asked Siri to find the listing. The manager then stated they have no control over 3rd party listings and that the yelp website lists 1-6 Sunday hours. I was very disappointed but only said in a very calm and quiet voice that I will donate them to charity then took the bags out to my car without making any fuss. I had items that I had purchased yesterday that did not fit my son that I planned to return while I was waiting for my clothes to be assessed. I thought about not returning them based on what just happened but I decided that I am the same as any other customer so I went back in the store to return them. The same manager who told me that I was wrong about the business hours started to process my return. I asked him if he had a iPhone to which he said "yes" and then I said that the incorrect Sunday hours came up when Siri showed their store's listing. I was saying this for him to know where the incorrect hours were listed and that any other iPhone user will be shown the wrong hours as well. He insisted that the hours were correct on the "yelp" website and had no interest in what I was telling him. He then continued to tell me that I was expecting "the impossible" and then compared me to customers that come in at 8:40 to sell items when a "random" website states that the store closes at 9:00. I responded in a nice and calm voice that this was not me because I called ahead over two hours before close to confirm that I could bring in two bags to sell. He then told me that I was expecting then to do "the impossible" because there were customers waiting to sell items in front of me and continued to confront me about the situation while he was processing my return. I then calmly told him I didn't want to talk about it anymore to which he responded I was choosing to have an "emotional response" to the situation. I took the money for the return and told him a genuine "thank you" as I walked out without saying a word or acting out in frustration in any way like I had The entire time. It is interesting when men project on women that we are having an emotional response when they can't handle constructive criticism or that they contributed to the bad situation. Maybe he will see this posting if he decides to ask Siri about his own business listing. read more
