I have only had positive experiences at this place. Found lots of quality things that were very well priced & the staff was kind.

This particular location is not organized at all, selling a bins sky high and takes over a week for them to go through your bin then to turn around and give you little to nothing. It's funny they want to be picky about what they buy when their store is full of very used looking dirty items that are over priced. Low quality, the one in Cape Coral is 100 times better. read more

I had some items to sell and a friend told me about this place. I thought it would be a great option, as I had a lot and thought it would work well. I was NOT looking to make a huge profit or anything, just get rid of some barely used baby items. We had twin great nieces that would visit periodically, so I had 2 of everything! I was warned in advance that they may not take what I had as they are picky. I guess it depends on who is there at the time. I told them I had 2 baby swings, that also doubled as chairs. With instructions, and all accessories and they were remote controlled. I also had the receipts because they came with the extended warranty for 3 years. These are just over 13 months old. Absolutely no wear or anything wrong with them. (Pics attached) I brought one in and went to get other one, she said is this it. I said yes, I'm going to get the second one. She said "don't bother" I would only give you $5 each. What! I then asked about the walkers, basically the same response. I was amazed! Poor customer service, I don't mind saying "no" but the attitude was a bit much. I asked about the baby life jackets, which still had the tags on them! Never used, receipt showed I paid $30 each! Yep, $5 for each. I really felt it was an insult. I understand making a profit is important in retail but that's ridiculous! I called a local church and they put me in touch with 2 families that needed help. So gladly, I donated everything I had to 2 families that were in need. Won't ever return here again. read more

Very good prices for new and used baby clothes. I buy clothes for a charity that I volunteer for and look everywhere for the best quality I can get for a competitive price. I always end up back here. Every item unless new has been washed and the store is well organized and kept neat and clean. I find the women who work here helpful and knowledgeable about the inventory. It seems the complaints here are all from sellers that were rejected or given less than they imagined their items to be worth. They are picky here and it shows in the selection . You simply can't get a bigger bang for your buck than here in my opinion. read more

Spacious,well organized,clean store. Great place to buy and sell used kids clothes,toys and furniture. You wont make a fortune on it,but hey you get some fast cash for your gently used kid's stuff! If you also planing to buy,you can get great deals with their reward system. I find brand new highend stuff on multiple occasions. Stuff is nice. Typically, the staff is rude and not very sociable. When I am selling, they are very quick to point out any soil on the equipment I'm turning in. However, they have many items in their store that are in need of cleaning, especially their shoes, which are usually very overpriced. Everyone that purchases clothes or equipment from a store such as this knows that they have to wash or clean before using anyway. I have been to once upon a child stores in other states and they provide a way more pleasant shopping experience. My advice to you would be to avoid this store as they do not realize that to provide great customer service and frequent return customers they have to be more pleasant and less judgmental. We we are all just young moms in need of reasonably priced used products for our babies and toddlers. Likewise, we expect better more realistic pricing for our already used items. Otherwise we are better off dropping them off at the local Goodwill. read more

Store itself is clean and well organizer. The cashier was so rude that it makes me not want to ever go back. no interpersonal relationship skills whatsoeve. I don't know what qualifications is used for hiring managers but they shouldn't be so desperate to fill a position..... this young lady had absolutely no common sense. read more

I was not impressed with this store. Not only are they extreamly picky about what they will take on consignment, but their prices are not that great. I brought new, never worn items and the rejected them. They also paid me very little for the items that they did buy. read more

Personally, I went in and purchased ALOT of onesies. Never had my son wear them, or at least most. Went in a month later after I cut the tags off (same day as I took them back in store to resale) I was told they wouldn't take them due to basic wear and stains. I did not tell them my son never wore them and they were purchased from them. Soooo long story short, this is stupid. Lol read more

Staff was not wearing masks, however, customers were required to. As I stood in line with a full cart there was 4 people behind the counter with only 1 checking out mean while the line was getting longer. Finally it's my turn to check out, I'm not greeted I'm told " we are bagless" which meant they didn't have bags. I had 24 items to check out in a 6 inch area. I'm watching and thinking it looks like maybe a double charge. The checker gets to the end and says that's $124 No thank you, no bag, I have to grab all my items and carry them bagless. Got home, sure enough, over charged. Not worth the time to drive back and deal with rude staff. Next time I'm in town I'll drive right on by. read more

The rudeness of the manager is astounding. I'm assuming the lady with glasses, a blondish pony tail and no customer service skills is the manager. The other ladies especially the one who checked me out was amazing. We laughed, it was great. Maybe the manager needs a laugh as well. FYI, If you choose to sit things on the floor for others to touch, especially toddlers and kids, YOU are taking the risk of something happening to it. Not the customer. That is a choice you made. And yes, it was "UNBELIEVABLE" the manner in which you spoke to me and my 2 year old. You could have easily removed the swing the first time I removed her from it. But you chose not to. My hands were full, you provide no bags and no type of assistance. Again that is a risk YOU take, when YOU decide to display something on the floor. I do hope she was just having a bad day and this is not how she normally speaks to customers, but upon reading previous reviews I feel it is a daily occurrence. read more

Once Upon A Child is the best children's resale store in our area. You can expect to pay a little more than other thrift stores but most items are in like new condition. The store is well organized and clean. I found several clothing items appropriate and unique for my growing son, books for my 3rd grader and brand new jeans for my 1st grader for half retail! The store clerks were welcoming and helpful. I learned about the store policies and trade-in program. I'm looking forward to bringing in our outgrown items so I can shop for more! read more

I've been there twice. 1st time w/ my dtr & was surprised by their Very large selection of infant clothes.. (All separated by size). Went alone yesterday as a 1st time grandmother & had a field day picking out the cutest tiniest outfits & a pack n play. One of the assistant helped me break it down & she couldn't have been friendlier, polite & helpful. Happy w/ the pricing. The clothing ranged from $1.50- $4.50. & my pack n play( which looked brand new) was $50. Definitely will be a repeat costumer. read more

The items they sell are not any cheaper than buying it brand new especially the big items. Customer service is horrible. I gave them Carter's brand clothes new with tags on them and a new un opened box of muslin baby blankets. They gave me $9. Don't get yourself ripped off by selling to them or buying from them. read more
