Breakdown of buyback prices for 2 board games. I'm assuming they paid more for the one still wrapped in plastic.

Tried dropping off a few boxes a few weeks ago and was turned away. So rule of plastic bin is being strictly enforced. I didn't complain and left. I had forgotten bins were preferred, but had never been turned away for bringing boxes. So I took those items to my other resale spot that has much friendlier service. Today, I returned with a plastic bin and another bunch of hew or almost new items and was told that the plastic bin was only acceptable if I stayed in store. I replied I couldn't. On my lunch break but that's not important. So the plastic open bin is not acceptable if you cannot stay, you now must have a bin with a lid on it. Awesome. For my sanity, I think I'll stick to my 2 other resale shops from this point forward. OUC is super convenient since it's in my daily work route, but it's become more of a hassle than it's worth. Beware. Call before going if you want clarification for the rule of the day and save yourself some unnecessary stress.

items are more expensive in the store vs purchasing them elsewhere and no price match. A few items I noticed that were up-priced were: The toddler tutus are 10.99/each in store while online the EXACT tutus are $8.99 for a BUNDLE of 6 !! I also noticed prices upped on learning toys- specifically a latches board - was $25 + tax in store however online/target/other local stores consistently marked it at $20-$22 - this wasn't a big difference in price but when you go to a second hand store I think most people expect to get the best deal. Anyway, First and last time I will go there.

If you are a first time mom like myself, I am sure you are very overwhelmed with the multiple options of car seats, strollers, toys, clothes...you name it! There is an endless world of possibilities and mommy blogs telling you what to do. Before my son was born, I decided to forget about all the baby stroller blogs I had been reading, and just go to the store and check them out for myself. During our first visit there, we were welcomed by Tony who quickly walked us through all the stroller options and what made each one of them so different. He was so passionate about each product and he knew everything! After almost an hour talking to Tony, we finally found our stroller and car seat, and felt like the most accomplished parents in the world. Fast forward, 18 month laters and now we needed a bigger car seat. Luckily Tony was there again the day we visited and he again helped us find the perfect car seat for us. Thank you Tony for the amazing service, and buybuy Baby for always having so many amazing options!

Always long on the weekends and after you have spent an hour trudging through things all over the walkways and searching for assistance to no avail, waiting in a long line is not an ideal final step there. Also problematic is the sad fact that there is no reliable way to know if they have something that another location has, and sometimes even when I call ahead, they do not have what they claim to have had. So selection is sometimes good, but it is pretty random. One way to look at this is as a treasure hunt, but not always in the mood for hunting! Are the good deals worth the physical stress? Next, should I choose to accept my mission, have to ask every time I see something I want that, yes, is a great deal, whether when coupled with the long line awaiting me at the finish line, is this still such a great deal?

I don't like the new stores so I thought this store would be way better but I was wrong. I got overwhelmed being here because everything is so close together. I kept having to walk around because I didn't fit with my shopping cart in most places or there just wasn't space to walk into certain areas when other people were there. I used to like how things were sectioned off. You'd walk to one side and it was kids clothes, then you'd find the toys or whatever but now it's all basically stacked together. There is really no organization. They downsized to save money (I assume) and they never have any employees on the floor. There's always just 2 people at the register

Ever since COVID, it seems like it has tried to become a Texas thrift trying to promote clothes, but did not do it successfully. Their prices and value are also not quite up to par. Compared to similar thrift stores in the area. My biggest issue today? Customer service was absolutely unacceptable. I feel like they were uncomfortable because of all the pictures I was taking? The two ladies in front kept staring and whispering to each other and looking back at me. I decided to give them the benefits of the doubt- they must have better things to talk about? I had nothing with me but my mobile, so why were they following me around? I looked through the clothes for about twenty minutes, then went over to the shoes, then back to the clothes. Then I went over to request getting into the fitting rooms, which were locked. One lady from the front came over as I stood there. "Something wrong?" Was the first thing she said to me. Taken aback, I replied, no, I was trying to get into a fitting room, please? I showed her my three garments. "Were you putting clothes back?" "What?" "My associates said you were putting clothes back." I looked at her blankly. "They said you took some and were putting them back in the shoes section." "I apologize, ma'am, I do not know what you are talking about," I answered in the most polite voice, even though I was getting increasingly frustrated. "They saw you. Take clothes and put them by the shoes." At this point, I was ready to leave. If this was how they were treating customers, I was not about to beg to be let into the fitting room, let alone give them my business. "I do not know what you are talking about, How about we go to the shoes and you can show me? I did not put anything there, only the clothes I have in my hands." "No. They took them away", she replies. Silence. "I am going to have you ask you to leave," she says. I don't even care anymore. Frankly, I am not sure whether I am more puzzled by how this confusion has taken place or more shocked that they have the audacity to treat a customer like this with no grounds. She did not even try to communicate with me with kindness. She was accusatory, told me to leave, and that was that. I left. Never plan to return. Good riddance. Highly not recommended. Zero stars!
