I brought in 2 large bags of clothes in, they bought 10 items for $7. They also won't tell you how much they'll pay you over the phone, so I ended up driving there and back twice. My experience at this store was very positive. I was only buying, not selling. However the store was clean, well-organized, and well-staffed. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The selection was also great. I appreciated that they held items for me at the front while I shopped. I also appreciated that they had a restroom. I will say though, you won't be able to fit a wheelchair in the bathroom. The door is probably too narrow. The bathroom was clean and had a changing table. Overall, this seems like a great location. I would definitely recommend it as a nice option for more affordable/ecologically friendly clothes, shoes, and toys. read more

This is the 5th time we have come to this location and tried to drop off clothes. They haven't excepted the clothes any time. This time I called ahead at my lunch break at 1:45 and they said that we could drop off till 6. They would not except the clothes at 5:30 because they said someone quit at 2. But they still had 3 other people working. And they told me that I should have called ahead. I did. Then update inventory regularly, so there's always something new to find, including basics like Carter's and upscale brands like Hanna Andersson. BUT... it's a small, cramped space with no room for strollers (tough for a kids shop) and VERY unfriendly staff -- like, literally never friendly. And the low prices. They have a huge, always changing variety of clothes. They have play clothes, more elegant clothing, bathing suits, outerwear and shoes. The value of the clothes is great! Good quality & good condition Most of the women who do work here are very kind EXECPT for this one older woman who works there. I'm unsure if she's management or not but, if you're going to work at a kids store... maybe don't have a bad attitude & get nasty with people? She was very very rude multiple times to customers AND employees. In front of me & my sister she yelled at another employee to " stop touching her computer " and then got nasty at me telling me to " please not remove hangers because it's an inconvenience because she has to count everything " which does not make sense considering everything is individually priced. You can also hear her yelling up front as you're walking around in the store. Just very rude & unprofessional. The younger girls are so kind & there is another older woman with longer curly hair who is also EXTREMELY kind. That associate/manager should be retrained/demoted because she can't even talk to people nicely. She's very very rude & forward not only to customers but, her own employees. If doing your job is that hard for you - don't work customer service. Sadly, will now be shopping at the Macedonia store because this is my 3rd time dealing with the same woman with the same bad attitude. I was shocked by how immediately rude the ladies were as soon as I stepped into the store. When we asked for help, they verbally scoffed. They scolded my 80 year old mother for looking at an unlabeled item that was on the floor, which apparently was another customer's item that they had rejected. I asked which area was items for sale and which were returned items for clarification and they again gave us so much attitude that we both decided to walk out the door. I've always thought the customer service was awful. I just looked at reviews and I see I'm not the only one who thinks this. They must not care since they are the only store like this in the area. I hate giving places with horrible customer service my business. I still go because it's nice to buy stuff cheaper than brand new....but I would go in more often if the employees were even remotely polite! They are all horrible. I also can tell they talk about me (and everyone else) every time I leave....or any other custome. All in all, this is a good clean kid's resale shop. I've bought and sold here. Of course they can't give you top dollar for your used stuff, or they couldn't afford to be in business. One of the staff members at the Westlake store was by far the cockiest, most rude woman I've ever had the displeasure to encounter. Shed taken in my items I had to sell, which I couldn't be bothered with the $14.50 she gave me for diapers and a brand new unopened multi-sex $100 toddlers weighted blanket and a new learning stroller toy. She treated me like she hated me. I waand dressed to offend, I didn't swear or get rude to her- I was very polite from start to finish- how i was raised. But there was something wrong with this woman or shed just had a horrible day and decided to take it all out on me complaining to me about any little thing i did and being really bossy. It's a real shame. Other than this particular woman- everything else was fine and good. It's because of her alone that I've given one of my favorite stores a 1 star reveiw. I like the selection of clothes and toys but have frequently been disappointed by interactions with the staff, particularly when bringing in items to sell. The instructions on the website (and, I should add, on the physical door of the store!) are contradicted by what the staff say. I recently went in with a tote bag of clothes to sell and was told by an employee that they only accept clothes in plastic bins ( when I mentioned that the website says tote bags are accepted, she begrudgingly stated that hard plastic bags would be accepted but only if "it's the only thing you have"). I was also told that they only buy until 4 pm, when the store door clearly states "We buy inventory up to 1 hour before closing", which is 5 pm. I really feel that it is poor customer service to have the guidelines on the website and store be inconsistent with what staff say in person. I will think twice about patronizing this store in the future and will certainly be less enthusiastic about recommending it to friends. read more

I've only been here a few times, but the service has been horrible both of my visits. I checked reviews after my visits and noticed a lot of people had the same opinion about the bad service here. The staff is very rude. I checked online beforehand to see what items they will take to resell, it also tells you what you can bring your items in (a box, a container, or a tote was on the website). They didn't accept to resell most of my baby gear that it said they accepted on their website, ALSO I brought baby clothes in an empty diaper box for them to sort through and they told me they would not sort through it because it was in an empty diaper box. Then proceeded to tell me they started this rule after Corona started even though on their website it clearly says you can bring items in for them to sort through in an empty box. I highly recommend NOT going here it's not worth your time or money. You'd be better off selling your items on Marketplace if you want a bit of cash for them, or donating them to Goodwill, Salvation Army, or Volunteers of America. I will not be going back here anymore due to bad service all around both visits. read more

I have been going here for the last few years. It's a good store to find pretty good clothes. However, some are mismatched sizes so always check the actual tag and as picky as they seem with taking clothes in I have noticed stained clothes when shopping. They are not great for getting money and hardly give you anything for really nice name brand clothes and rarely if ever take all or most of what you bring despite them saying they are accepting all seasons right now (August 2020). It's a little something but if you want to make at least a couple bucks per item especially if gently or never worn sell on FB. read more

Obviously they don't give you retail payouts to buy back your used items, but it's great to get something for the stuff I would otherwise donate. The gals working were polite and courteous. And they got me a payout within a reasonable amount of time based on the amount of stuff I had. And the store itself had a great selection. Pros: Play area for your children & Very Well organized. Cons: Worst customer service ever, if you want to feel like a 2nd class citizen, go here. The staff are cold, and if you ask a question, expect the women to be annoyed that they need to stop socializing with their fellow co-worker. This store is awful. First, it's EXTREMELY cramped and dirty. Don't bring a stroller because you can't navigate through the aisles with it. Next, the staff is always extremely rude. The prices are way too high for resale items. Don't sell your baby items here because they give next to nothing then sell it for a lot more. Did I mention the staff is always SUPER rude? Slow unhelpful employees. I took in some items to sell and it took them a long time to go through what I brought in and decide what they wanted and what they did not need. At one point there were several customers waiting to have their used items evaluated and one of the two employees was on a personal phone call rather than helping the customers. I go in every once in awhile to find sleepers or stuff on clearance.. But when I went to checkout I was told the very few items I had picked from clearance wasn't gonna be clearance because I didn't go by the sale they were doing (10/$10)... So WHY mark it clearance then if you're just gonna make me pay the ticketed price even if there is a sale... It's STILL marked CLEARANCE... Don't get it at all... And I usually like shopping there when I can... Yeah it woulda been cheaper to get more items off clearance and I woulda paid $1 more than I did... But I didn't wanna just grab items either when there wasn't a huge selection and I'm picky on my clothes.. I left kinda upset and mad but I didn't show it while inside... But on my way home all I kept thinking was REALLY... Why mark it clearance if it's not clearance regardless of a sale or not.... Clearance is clearance...
