Decided to try a local establishment for some Italian food that wasn't pizza. The "baked" ziti was meh. The eggplant parm was meh and the Alfredo was worse than meh. The marinara sauce had no flavor and a jar sauce like Ragu or a canned Hunt's would have been a major upgrade. The Alfredo was either watery or the pasta wasn't drained well. Even the bread was meh and dumping a lot of Parmesan cheese on the min dish did nothing for it. The cheese was also flavorless and may be the cheap cellulose dense product. Only redeeming quality of the visit was the waitress was reasonably friendly. Since you can't give zero stars, it gets one, and that's being generous. Overall, the meal and the experience were crap. We should've gotten pizza -someplace else or maybe a can of Spaghetti-O's. As far as ambience goes, - Robert Irvine would have had a field day but that is not the issue here. read more

We went here years ago when they were at the old location and loved. We tried it again on a drive through Cortez. We were disappointed, wasn't as good as we remembered. We got the 5 cheese Mac and cheese and a bbq chicken pizza on the extra thin crust. My son loved the Mac and cheese. The pizza crust was just what we wanted. You really couldn't tell there was bbq sauce on the pizza, there was barely any chicken. The service was so so. Never got checked on, so our water glasses never got refilled. Okay I did not expect to love this place as much as I did. I'd call it a family friendly casual restaurant with a great attitude. Is this fine dining? No, but it's abundant and tasty simple food and good craft beer for a good price served with a smile. Even though we're from out of town, our server knew us the second time we came in and that made us feel very welcomed. We mostly ordered the fish and chips and Mac and cheese. The French fries were some of the best I've had. The cod was light and flaky. The Mac and cheese was very good. I mean really it's just Mac and cheese but theirs was a yummy gooey three or four cheese version soft inside with a nice baked crust. Both just right for the price. Service was excellent. Ambiance was also excellent (much larger inside than was expected from the outside). Bread was served warm and was great dipped in the "house" balsamic vinaigrette. We ordered the side salads, excellent and very fresh vegetables with a varied types of vegetables. They have a "seniors menu" and my wife ordered Lasagna and I ordered spaghetti with a meatball. Apparently the lasagna was excellent. My spaghetti was OK but nothing special. Not sure why but could be that the pasta didn't have body? Night 7 on the road had me craving something different from the burgers and chicken strips that tend to make up my travel diet, so a look at Yelp directed me to this local pizza joint. I'm always skeptical of local pizza places, but I decided to give this place a try. Walking in at around 5 PM on a Tuesday evening, the restaurant was pretty empty. I was seated quickly and I placed my order: a small cheese pizza on the "traditional" crust with an appetizer of garlic bread. The garlic bread came out first and it was pretty good. Surprisingly good, actually, with the fresh parmesan adding a nice twist. Sadly, the pizza was not as good as the garlic bread. A real shame. I took a slice out of the pie to put on my plate and I immediately noticed that the crust was very soggy on the bottom of the pizza, yet overly thick elsewhere. The crust seemed like it was cooked in a normal household oven instead of a high-temperature pizza oven and it tasted pretty bland, almost as if it was a generic homemade pizza crust recipe. That is indeed what this pizza tasted like: something I could make at home with no special recipes or equipment, and it was as messy. It TASTED fine, but "fine" isn't what I expect from a pizza place. I'd definitely be willing to try this place again, but I'd stick to the Italian-American entrees over the pizza. The garlic bread tells me that they can do something right and some of the entrees I saw going out looked good. The service was pretty good, hence why it gets 3 stars instead of 2. But the pizza...you'd be better off ordering Domino's than getting this pizza. read more

My wife loves the fried fish with choice of sides and the Angel Hair Primavera with chicken and fresh vegetables. My favorites are traditional crust pizza with pepperoni, mushroom and roasted garlic butter. I also like the Amarillo sandwich with roast beef, cheese, and onions. They have a large selection of beers to choose from. I like the Old Chub Scotch Ale. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They just opened a month or so ago and are operating at full speed. The restaurant is big and we have not had to wait more than a few minutes on any night. Give it a try. read more

We recently moved in just a couple blocks away, but Covid came along before we had the chance to try this place. Tonight we ordered takeout. I showed up exactly when I was told it would be ready, but it wasn't ready and I stood around for almost 15 minutes. Girl who helped me was surly, and I ended up having to flag down someone else to get my pizza. One waitress was wearing a mask, the other two had theirs slung around their chins even while taking orders. Signs said patrons should wear a mask when up from the table, but people weren't doing it. If you're ok with all that, this is your place to eat in. If you're not, you should be able to safely order takeout and get in and out, and still be treated politely. Also unimpressed that the "large" pizza at $20 was 10 pretty small slices that the two of us easily finished in one meal. It was good, but nothing amazing. I'll get Dominos next time. read more

This restaurant is a life saver for my family when we take long road trips because it stays open late in the summer and has so many options! Lotsa Pasta has a huge menu which is legit and the quality of the food is pretty good. I ordered a pasta dish with sausage and marinara sauce and it was tasty, but it was also floating in a pool of oil. Seriously, there was so much oil I was a bit concerned and had to shake the pasta to reduce the amount of oil I was consuming. It sure tasted good though, and the portion was reasonable. My mom had the baked chicken which was tasty, but the side of green beans was unimpressive and the baked potato only came with butter. Thankfully our waitress brought some other condiments such as sour cream and onions which helped. Service was a bit sparse at times which forced me to ask a different server for our check since I wasn't sure when I was going to see our waitress again. Overall though Lotsa Pasta is a decent place to get your grub on, but don't expect anything fancy. read more
