The starter was grilled shrimp, Cesar salad, for my meal I selected the salmon, it came with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Service was fast and friendly. The view were nice, seeing The City at night on the water is a great way to send the evening. The only area of opportunity I saw was the boarding process. There were no clear signs for where to meet, folks were wondering around trying to figure out which vessel was ours and there needed to be another person helping to check guests in.

Upon…read morearrival in front of St. Patrick's Cathedral we were welcomed by an excellent tour guide Julien, our names were mentioned and Julian addressed us with our names throughout the tour which provided a very friendly and very welcoming atmosphere. The bus driver Levi was also very nice and friendly, (I had never met such a very friendly tour guide and bus driver compared to my previous guided tour experiences). After meeting at St. Patrick's we were dropped off at Grand Central Station took pictures and Julien took us to this hidden jewel, the Whispering Wall/gallery at the grand central terminal (in front of the oyster bar and restaurant). This was not part of the itinerary, and I appreciate how we were taken to this place. It was amazing how you can whisper into the wall and be heard by the person in another corner of the wall. We headed to the Empire State Building, where we were supposed to explore by ourselves but to our surprise, our tour guide Julien followed on the observation deck. He took very nice pictures (he is a pro) he knows where to take pictures and the right angles. We also had a delectable lunch and a nice ambiance at Paesano's in Little Italy. We boarded back to the shuttle where driver Levi patiently waited and this man had to drive around the area while waiting for us because they can't be parked in one spot for a while and had to share the parking to other shuttles/buses. We were taken to the Wall Street, Trinity Church and showed us the Alexander Hamilton's tomb. After that, we headed to the Statue of Liberty where Julien stayed with us the entire time and had an amazing time. He knew a lot of people including the securities, the workers etc. He knows what we need to do before heading to the security areas. He provided a great information about New York and we learned so much about the city in just 9 hours. He sounded like he had a sore throat on the day of our tour but that did not stop him from providing such a wonderful introduction and insight even he had to talk on top of his lungs. The last part of our tour was the 9/11 Memorial and Memorial Pools which was very emotional and touching experience. Lastly, my overall experience in this tour was wonderful. Before we departed Julien sang a song to us inside the shuttle the "New York, New York" by Frank Sinatra and we felt so special. I totally enjoyed my visit to New York because of tour guide Julian. He is a very hard working tour guide, does an excellent job!. He made sure we are all safe and no one gets lost in the tour. He even gave us souvenirs from the places we visited (postcards, etc.) Levi is a very good, safe, and patient driver. All respect for Julien who does an excellent job and also driver Levi. I would recommend this tour to my family and friends. Many many thanks to Julien and I totally recommend Julian to everyone who would like to visit New York.

He was so friendly, accommodating, funny, charismatic, and informative on everything New York. Our tour started off at St. Patrick's Cathedral and then progressed to the Empire State Building. At every point of interest, we were treated with fast access as VIPs. The Empire State Building was amazing and Julian got us in and out in quick fashion. We then went to Little Italy and a nice restaurant and canollies place in that area. The arrangements with the restaurant were great as the prices and food quality were good and the efficiency of getting us in and out in quick fashion was great. We then went to the Statue of Liberty where we bypassed a lot of the serpentine lines that circled that park area. However, the screening area was unavoidable and a bit of a delay as it was 45 minutes. Still Julian worked to make our entry as quick as possible and our time there valuable. Once getting onto Liberty Island, we went through a secondary screening area right at the statue and Julian gave us a lot of really neat information on the history of the Statue of Liberty. We then went to the 911 Memorial and the Oculus which was somber and enriching and Julian gave us keen insight on what the memorial park meant to him and shared a really touching personal story. I would recommend this tour company to family and friends as it is amazing. Try to request Julian as he is the most amazing human being I have met in quite some time. He made the entire experience quite memorable, informative, and fun.

The reasons why this tour is terrible include:…read more 1) we were barely given any history whatsoever and walked over the bridge not speaking 2) we were stuck waiting for an hour w/ no idea when the pizza would come and no notice from Bruce that he would be gone (he wasn't with us that entire time) 3) the only "historical" buildings we saw were the pizza place and the ice cream factory- with no history given about them whatsoever and we did not see any other places in Brooklyn besides those Don't waste your money. It had nothing to do with being under-dressed. This would have been terrible even if it had been summer.

I think 2 hours was just right for the tour and we really would not be able to eat anymore food by the end of it - come hungry. For $35 I thought this tour was well worth it, really a neat way to get familiar with the history and transformation of a few Manhattan neighborhoods. Bruce has a number of different tours on his website, I recommend checking them out.

He was also great at pointing out hidden and obscure symbols left by the builders of the Statue of Liberty as well as good places to take photos. He also offered to take amazing pictures of everyone under the statue of liberty by lying on the ground. On Ellis Island, he walked us through in detail how immigrants went through the registration process as well as how his ancestors made it through Ellis Island. He also explained how he found the original documents and assured us that he fact checked everything he told us on the tour. I feel like he is an amazing tour guide and I would recommend his tour to anyone.

Rob was rude, condescending and we learned virtually nothing about 9-11. We learned about the subway, however, we didn't pay for that. Overall, extremely disappointed and we had little to no time to take pictures as promised. This is not a tour group I'd recommend. Rob had many personal statements that seemed to benefit him and not the tour group. Also, making an extremely rude comment to us was inappropriate and ended the tour for me there.

So we had to drive to Liberty Helicopter's Kearny NJ heliport for the $200 City Lights Tour. This tour was WELL WORTH IT! My wife was on the ground watching me lift off haha. The tour lasted about 15-20 minutes and I sat upfront with the pilot. This was such a smooth and breath-taking experience. The staff was awesome..especially "Q" who made us all feel relaxed before the big event with his information about visitors' perspectives from around the world and had explained how much of a "family" atmosphere this Kearny heliport is as compared to the NY heliport. I would definitely take this tour again!!

Once we got there we had to show them our IDs and watch a safety video. Then they took in a line to the chopper, before you board they take your picture which you can purchase later. The ride was amazing, the views were beautiful and you get to see a lot in 15 minutes. You start by seeing the Statue of Liberty as you head through downtown then the garden as you head to midtown. You get to see a lot and as a New Yorker I knew where to look and what I was looking at but I felt bad for the other people there since they were tourist and the pilot didn't really say much or explain the sites. Overall it was a great experience.

Unacceptable Professional Behavior…read more My family and I came for the event on Saturday and was told the hours were changed. I did not receive an email regarding changed hours that the owner said she sent out. According to her they sent out emails three weeks ago. We purchased our tickets three weeks ago meaning the same timeframe. My question is (why did you allow us to purchase tickets for an event with the VIP 3-6 if those hours were changed. Being a business owner myself, I understand what a professional attitude should be and the owner did not show it. I also understand that mistakes are made, so I get that you allowed us to get tickets for a time that was no longer viable. Professional decorum would dictate that she should have offered us a refund and an apology. Yanni showed no care or concern for the lose of money, our time or for that matter for the business she has now lost. Instead she continuously stated that they sent out several emails. She doesn't have to worry about our business ever again.

Yet, her love of the industry and the city was both palpable and contagious and she won me and the rest of my group over with her mix of historical (and hysterical) tales and gossip. The approximately 100 minute tour allows you to see many of the notable theatres of the area as well as some sights around Times Square. We even caught a glimpse of a Broadway star, Donna Murphy, though that wasn't officially part of the tour. It all wraps up with a group picture that makes for a good souvenir. Even better, you don't have to pay anything to get access to it online! The only reason that this isn't getting 5 stars is that the group was just too big for Allie's voice and speaker. I understand they have to pack 'em in to make the money, but it detracted from the experience.

A Bite of the Big Apple…read more I took the One Day NYC Tour. This tour is the best. I strongly suggest you do this tour at the beginning of your trip. It gives you a little taste of pretty much everything in the Big Apple. Afterward you can pick and choose what sites were satisfying enough for seconds. It is a very concise tour. Afterwards you will have a greater appreciation and knowledge of the city of Manhattan. If possible ask for Bobby. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and nice. Perfect guide. This tour takes cuts down the Big Apple into smaller parts and makes a sweet Big Apple pie.
