EDIT: After posting my review I received correspondence from the VP who then passed along my information to who i believe to be the general manager regarding my experience. They both seemed sincerely apologetic and eager to make the situation right for me. In all of their help, neither asked me to remove or change anything about my review. This says to me they truly care about the customer experience. They displayed the type of concern I had hoped for in the beginning. I purchased a feast for work on December 23, 2025, which was advertised to feed 8-10 people. I picked up the order around 4:30 p.m. Since I work nights, we didn't open the bags until later. Once everything was laid out, I realized a double order of pulled pork was missing. I called the restaurant at 9:48 p.m. to report the issue. After explaining the situation, the associate who answered placed me on hold, which was concerning since the restaurant closed at 10 p.m. When she returned, I had to explain the issue again before being transferred to a manager. The manager, whose name I unfortunately don't recall, was very kind and attentive. He acknowledged the mistake immediately and stated that he would issue a refund for the missing items. He also collected my personal information and said he would be sending a gift card for the inconvenience. To date, I have received neither the refund nor the gift card, and I haven't received any follow-up from the restaurant. While the food itself was pretty good, the lack of follow-through in customer service makes me hesitant to patronize this business again. I had a great experience here. I have passed this location many times and never visited. I had the Jumbo Chicken Leg Quarter. It was a nice portion and it was tender and juicy. I had an order of greens and backed beans for my sides. The greens were season really good. The beans were amazing as well. It also comes with a buttery toast. I love the barbecue sauce options. All were great, but I really liked the spicy sauce. I also tried the barbecue bologna sandwhich and it was tatsty as well. We dined in and the space is super spacious and clean. The service was great as well. They were kind and very attentive. I must say they handled our party size with ease. For dessert, I had cheesecake with fresh strawberries added. It was delicious. Had dinner tonight at One and Only. Always consistent. Had a fun time. Meg was such a nice server and was attentive. I ordered the Leg Quarter Dinner with deviled eggs and green beans. My food was seasoned well and quite tasty. The green beans were a tad salty for me. The turnip greens were way too salty but we found out it was the bottom of the pot. The manager gave my friend another fresher order to go. That was really nice! Our dinner was all in all very good. I've picked up from One & Only a few times but finally made a point to eat at the restaurant. The interior is huge. The service is rather quick. They have a good selection of local beer. I tried their ribs, potato salad, and collard greens. The dry rub was great, it tasted mostly like paprika (maybe cayenne?) to me. The meat was tender and I could definitely go for it again. The collard greens are some of the best I've had outside of my mom's. The potato salad was hyped up but I didn't love it. Also, not pictured, I tried the smoked chicken and my girlfriend got the smoke turkey sandwich. The chicken was certainly the better poultry. It went great with their 3 sauces- the spicier one was my favorite. I've picked up their brisket before and would not recommend it. I tried the leg quarter meal. It was moist was not dry. Had a good smoky taste and I love the baked beans .The only problem I had was on Yelp. There is rarely a problem with the food. The service is great when Kathleen takes care of Us. She does a fantastic job. A constant area of needed improvement is the dining room. More often than not, there is always a presence of aggressive flies in the dining room. On My last visit, half way through my meal and within minutes of each other, flies fell to their death onto the table. There are three separate doors at the main entrance to the dining room. Two are external and one is an internal door. Most times, the internal door is held open with maybe a bungie cord. I love this place. I took my nephew for the first time. We had quesadillas and different sandwiches. The brisket was very tender. We both enjoyed our meal. The quesadillas were filling so we took the sandwiches home. The service team was quick to prepare a table. I got the jumbo pork pull sandwich with cole slaw. The sandwich was big but the meat was not tender and not seasoned. The 3 BBQ sauces helped with the blandness of the sandwich. The spicy BBQ sauce and mild BBQ tasted good but nothing special. The mango habanero sauce was sweet with a kick. My sides were onion rings and turnip greens. It was a large amount of onion rings and maybe the best onion rings I have ever had. The turnip greens were great and had brisket in it. We also ordered the bologna sampler.
