I don't recommend them; they make you spend money without providing a solution, and it's quite expensive.

WARNING: YOU MAY GET RIPPED OFF LIKE I DID. One Auto charged me $533.13. for 4 days of storage and $191.92 for "towing" of my car (he drove it) about a mile to his shop. Picture attached.  On 9/21 (Saturday night), my BMW 328 was vandalized in Palisades Park. A friend (now, ex-friend), who knows the owner of One Auto, called him. He came by and said that he will take the car to his shop, which is about a mile away, for safe storage while I file a claim. He seemed nice and was pleasant.  I filed a claim with GEICO and an inspection was scheduled for Tuesday, 9/24. On Monday, 9/23, I called One Auto and asked if he had repaired BMWs before. Instead of answering my question, he asked me to sign an authorization form to begin repairs. I told him that GEICO rep has to come by and do a complete inspection. He didn't like that answer and said that my car was taking up space in his garage. I told him, GEICO inspector will be out the next day and I will pay the storage charge. After the call, I felt uneasy about One Auto owner's ability and honesty. So, I asked around friends who had had their cars repaired.  Tuesday, 9/24, morning, I decided to have my BMW repaired at K2 Auto Repair in Edgewater, NJ. I called Ashely, the GEICO inspector, who said she was OK with my moving the car to K2. She further said that she will cut a check to One Auto for the four days of storage and towing fees. I told her that One Auto didn't tow the car.  Thinking everything was sorted out, I coordinated with Eric of K2 to have my car towed to his shop. About an hour later, One Auto calls and tells me that he can not release the car until I pay him for storage and towing. I told him that GEICO inspector, who was there at the time of the call, will cut him a check. He didn't want GEICO to pay him. He wanted me to pay him. I don't know why; he refused to answer me and kept asking for payment. I spoke with the GEICO inspector and she was confused by One Auto's insistence of being paid by me instead of GEICO. However, she couldn't do anything more. By this time the Sano's towing truck arrived. I asked for a bill to be sent to me so I could pay him. He sent me the bill and I was shocked. $725.05!  Being at work, I asked a friend to go over and pay One Auto, so I could get my car out this unscrupulous person's shop. Sano's towing came by again and towed my car to K2, which is about 4.7 miles away, for $125. Based on my experience, I recommend people to avoid this shop.  TL;DR - This shop ripped me off and lied to me while acting nice and friendly. Avoid this shop unless you like overpaying and being lied to. read more

This place was recommended by a friend since I live close-by, best rates, they know what they are doing... oh man this is the 2nd shop out of the dealer trying to get something fixed properly... i was willing to pay whateva to just get it fixed. But nope, they said it's how the customer feels like nike or reebok shoes. I'm the type of person to say hey this tastes bland or salty and let it go. Automotive? I want to drive a car without problems and fixed properly. I realized these local mechanics can not find the problem of a specific car brand, they do only the basics like a oil change alignment etc... I wasted money on two mechanics where they can't fix nd the problem and it's just me.... I tried avoiding dealership for their exaggerated prices but have to go. I am just disappointed at this place because I thought they could fix my problem. Scammers. Dont trust the kind look and act. Read other reviews. Overcharged and confused. Initial price was changed and excuse was an accent. Proceeded to confidently display signature to sign even tho i brought it up to his attention. Beought up a completely irrelevant argument that no one would charged that little for that part when verbally it was said and after work is finished will say you misheard. I definitely do not trust them, will not go back and will not recommend them to anyone. read more

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: This is not for the BODY SHOP but the associated REPAIR SHOP. HERE IS MY STORY: I had my brake pads and rotors for the front of my car shipped there, as a recommended installer, by Tire Rack. I called the night before and they told me to come first thing the next morning. I was unable to get there till 1pm, however, they pulled me right in. The waiting room was nice but the installer working on the car was nicer so I stuck around the car while the work was being done. Both to keep an eye on the car and learn a little at the same time. Even tho there was a generational and ethnic gap between myself and the installer ( wish I had gotten his name ) we had good conversation and hanging out was actually fun. He got the job done in under an hour without any incident or damage to the car. He took his time but didn't waste mine either. The problem I have with this facility is with the billing. There is only one posted sign in the garage showing a labor rate of $70/hr. The other signs say they do brakes, tunes, alignments, etc. but no associated pricing. When the owner gave me the bill it showed a billing for 2.7 hours of labor at $90 not $70. When I inquired as to why I was being charged for over an hour and half more time than the shop tech put into the car, I was told it was because he worked faster on my car, that the job should've taken 2.7 hours. Ummmm is that fair? And to charge an extra $20 per hour just because I provided my own parts? When after all, this installer was recommended to me by the site I purchased the parts from. There was no mention of a "corking fee" or mention of the cost to do the job at all before the work had begun. I never signed an estimate, nor was one shown to me. For all I knew I was paying by the hour, which makes perfect sense to me. There were no special tools required and the job was not that much different than changing a tire on a rim. So to me an hourly rate makes sense. The owner felt differently and wouldn't budge giving non-sensical reasons for his charges. I wasn't going to give in either as I was set on paying the hourly rate. He said he was going to call the police, I said, please do. The police came, heard my side, heard his side, then listened to the owner yell and rant for 90 minutes before taking my $85 and giving it to him for the job done. The police gave me a receipt and let me on my way. I wouldn't be surprised to see a mechanics lien on my car and get papers for a small claims case in the near future for the difference he feels is due. The lesson, ask up front, and get in writing an estimate for the work done. Lesson two, don't feel bullied into paying shop rates that they make up on the fly. Don't be a victim. In the end, I would've rather paid the entire amount than have to go through 90 minutes of ridiculous conversation trying to debate the owner into understanding bad logic and unfairness in his policies. ONE LAST REMINDER: This is NOT a review of the ONE AUTO BODY part of the business. This is only in reference to the ONE AUTO REPAIR half of the business. I have no experience with the other side of the garage that works on paint and dent items. Proceed with caution. Or just go to Big Daddy's up the street. read more

This place Stinks! They have very bad customer service. My company called to pick up a vehicle from this shop. they would only take cash and forced our company to carry over 2k in cash. At first they said "check" is OK from our company then turned around and changed their mind at time of pick up . - 2 reasons, either they wanted to keep the vehicle for an extra day of storage or they want to somehow evade taxes. If the second reason is true then shame on them . what exempts them from paying taxes like all of us? Hope the IRS checks on them. This is not the first time. read more

Biggest con artist, DO NOT Get your car serviced here the business owner will do all sorts of thing to get an extra dollar. They will replace your battery and tell you a new one is required or say they replaced your air filter but never do or give you a bad tire which needs to get replaced after a few weeks. Not only did he scam me twice but scammed a few of my friends too. This is why I am posting so people are aware of this business and don't come here. If here was a choice of selecting 0 stars I would but since I have to select at least 1 star that's why I rated this with 1 star. read more

I'm happy to write a review to commend One Auto body shop for their honesty, fair prices, expertise and overall service! I had to replace my headlight bulbs bc they were too dim. It took the owner literally 10 mins. Another body shop told me it would take 2 hours bc have to drill and do all this unnecessary work and charge me more than 4x what I was charged at One Auto Body. I take my leased vehicle there are get good discounts compared to my Jeep dealership servicing. If you pay cash, you also get discount. Great great.
