We loved the ambiance of this place. It's cozy, has a nice big bar, and has a ton of games to play while you drink. They even have two TVs for some old school video games. We also loved the ranch pizza we ordered. It was perfect for two people to snack on while we drank. That being said, the only reason I'm rating lowly is because we weren't impressed with the beer. My favorite thing about One Barrel is the atmosphere! They've got a really amazing atmosphere! On Fridays they have live music, occasionally on other days as well if there's a special occasion. They've got a beautiful area with fire pits that you can sit around. They've got gorgeous comfortable couches to lounge on while you drink, or a place with benches with a roof to shade you from the sun. There are casual games such as a popular bean bag toss, giant jenga, and a giant connect four game. I love that they're dog friendly. There are bowls for water all over, and dog treats as well. As far as the beer, I like that they let you sample their different brews. I dislike that they don't have hard alcohol that's where they lost a star. I also feel like the beer is worth $5 versus $7, but I'm not a connoisseur of special beer so I'm unsure of it's worth. It does taste good though! I enjoyed the Rosé and the tart brew-I can't remember what it's called, but it says tart on the menu so look for that if you'd like to try it. So great! We have been coming to Door County for a very long time now and this was our first time going to this brewery. Love, love, love the beer and Bros Pizza that is attached. Great place for kids to have fun. We have two teens that when asked wanted to come back the next day. We were able to try four different beers and not a one disappointed us. We stopped in for a quick flight on afternoon. Its a really nice place, thy have a huge outdoor area that I'm sure is hoppin in the summer. Being a fall day we opted to just stay inside the bar area. They have a large varied selection of brews and ciders to chose from. There were others with some good looking pizza inside as well, maybe next time we try some. We enjoyed everything we sampled. It was a rainy day today, more appropriate for a noir fiction novel than a day in Door County--but we decided to make the best of it. So, we went exploring Door County by car. As we returned to our home base in Egg Harbor, we didn't want to go out in the rain so we stopped by One Barrel Brewery. We don't drink, so I can't tell you much about the beer. However, they did have very attractive displays of their wares creatively placed around the building. No, my wife and I were in search of a meal, in particular, we sought a good pizza after our day of exploring. We were pleasantly surprised by the pizza by Pizza Bros. that was available at One Barrel.Great crust and good toppings. the caprese salad was also delicious. The place itself was clean, packed (on a Monday at 4:30pm) and had fun games available while we waited for our pizza. We didn't wait long! Within 8 minutes, everything was boxed and ready to go. Honestly, I was shocked. Again, this was good pizza and an equally good salad to go. Pizza was a bit pricey, but not outrageous given current inflation. If you have a hankering for good pizza, Pizza Bros. will serve you well. read more

Great place for drinks! Stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon because we noticed they were having live music. The atmosphere was so fun with tons for outdoor seating and yard game options. There was an outdoor window to order drinks and pizza so we didn't even have to go inside. I tried the rose hard cider as I'm not much of a beer fan but this was a great option for that! This is a review for One Barrel. Great location, great craft beer and great building and patio area. The inside is bright with plenty of seating at tables or the bar with a very tasteful decor. Also, there is a large patio with chairs, couches and picnic tables. However, my only real complaint is the benches for the picnic tables are tippy on the uneven ground. There is a variety of craft beer to choose from on tap to cover many different tastes. I really enjoyed the Hazy IPA, Hypercolor. The Commuter Kolsh is good too for a lighter beer. They also sell their beer, by the van or bottle. They also have cool promotion if you are local, they will give you a 2$ off coupons that is good for the rest of the year. It also, sounds like they will have this as a yearly thing. I highly recommend this place. read more

I worked in Burke County for a summer as a Kia line guide. Unfortunately I did not make any money because I spent all of it here. Hands down the best brewery I've ever been to, when it's busy you can usually find a seat outside and play some yard games and you never have to wait long for a drink. When it's quiet you can get a plug-in and work on your laptop for a little bit inside. No matter when if you get the wild tomato pizza it is INCREDIBLE. We always get the Bel Gardino (spelling), which we've never seen at the other wild tomato locations. read more

Was stoked that One Barrel (originally from Madison) was opening a location in Door County. I was nearby on a day trip on Memorial Day Weekend. I convinced my friends to stop here. Little did I know it was their grand opening weekend! It's a decent size spaced and packed with a lot of tables. A little hard to get around. In between the tables against the wall and the bar are small two person tables. My group of four had to pull two tables together since the bigger tables were all taken up. I can see that being a common issue. I would recommend going to their outdoor patio which is a more comfortable open space. I've always been a fan of One Barrel's beer (especially the Commuter, Banjo Cat, and the One Barrel Pale Ale), but what kicked it up a notch was their partnership of Wild Tomato pizza! Wild Tomato has their own counter space in the building where you order your food separately from the beer. A little bit of inconvenience, but honestly not that big of a deal, especially when you take a bite of their pizza. Holy moly was it delicious. Between me and my friends, we ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and a Mexican Street Corn pizza. Both were fabulous and was full of flavors that have never been in my mouth. Sometimes it's easy to say pizza is pizza, but man these guys are on a whole different level of pizza. It was pricey but worth it. This is a great spot for local beer and pizza. read more

Decided to stop here on our way through egg harbor, we go in and find a spot at the bar hoping to try a few of their beers. The bartender proceeds to tell me that she "has never seen and ID like mine before" and refuses to serve us. I have a standard issued Wisconsin ID! I'm 25 and hardly get checked anymore so I was very taken back when she told me this. So I decided to give them a second chance and go to the gas station down to street to get a six pack of their up north lager. Having been to over 150 brewers I can say this was one of the worst lagers that I have ever had. If you are in egg harbor take your business elsewhere! I would recommend bridge up brewing, much nicer people. read more

Both were good - sausage was salty and such big pieces, the deluxe was more flavorful. Kids love the connect four and corn hole. Inside has games on. I'm sure their tap is rotating but I recommend the cherry kolsh made with local Wisconsin cherries. I asked the bar tender if the beer was local and she replied that yes the cherries were local too.
