this was our first winter in our new house and the humidity levels were out of control. our room was cold and damp all day long and eventually we started seeing a bit of a mold problem. i called up Marco to see if this was something he could help with and he was able to come that same night to check it out in person. his visit was very informative and right away he could tell that the room had no insulation, which was causing the high humidity. there were a few other companies that i got quotes from that said they could take care of the insulation problem but no one was really specialized in mold the way Marco and his team are. i was very glad that One Call Services could do the entire job, from mold remediation to wall/insulation repair, and he even had someone install the new window that i purchased. working with Marco and his team was great; he's a very honest and helpful guy and will give his best suggestions without making you feel pressured to do anything. his schedule is also very accommodating and i was glad for the times he was willing to stop by late (around 7pm) to answer questions or take a look at the room. i will be calling him up soon to schedule work on my second room. read more

I have used Yelp to inform my choice of restaurants and services for many years. I have never written a review before but am compelled to start, because of One Call: they are Outstanding!! Jaime, our project manager and Marco, the owner, could easily open an academy of how to deliver superior service. Every one of their employees was courteous, skilled and just nice folks. I could not have designed an experience better than what they delivered. From a prompt response on Yelp, providing an estimate, regular follow ups, super clean job on our mold-stained water heater pedestal in our garage, to cleaning up and return to help us move our belongings back into our garage: each aspect was exemplary. Marco and his expert mold tech, Andy, even returned one evening when we found broken glass pieces on our driveway: presumably from a glass shower door One Call had volunteered to haul away when we were prepping the garage for mold remediation! By the way, our garage passed a third party mold clearance test with flying colors. If you have a mold problem or any other issue which One Call covers, hire them. Marco was excellent. During the busy rain season our roof failed and we had water damage over bed. We contacted Marco after fixing our roof to see if we had any mold damage. He came over quickly to assess the issue and was thorough with his assessment for us. It was ultimately determined we had no mold damage at this time and he gave us recommendations on how to fix the cosmetic issue. He did all of this as part of the free assessment. Spoke to someone about my concerns at home regarding testing for mold toxicity. He took the time to listen to my initial concern and from there gave me his honest recommendation as to what needed to be done. Thankfully based on what I told them, they didn't think we needed to get our house checked because it was so minimal and explain what to do to fix our minor problem. Obviously, I'm not an expert on this and for that reason had they quoted me something to come and fix it I probably would have payed it. The mold in my son's closet was quite impressive, and required removing a portion of the drywall as well as the laminate wood flooring. I called Marco to remove my mold condition in my closet based on the reviews he has received and he didn't disappoint. Very disappointed. I requested a quote and (despite their claim that they have 100% response rate), they never replied. The least they could do is say they couldn't do anything for me so I wasn't waiting. Maybe they do great work. I'll never know. Update: Marco contacted me after seeing my review. The problem arose somewhere in the connection with Yelp contact process. Anyway, he came out the very next morning and checked things out (no charge). His recommendation was not to have him clean the mattress and box spring because there is no guarantee that it would work with the fabric. Ever been terrified by a mold problem? One Call Services gives you sanity and does a great job. We had serious mold issues in 3 rooms (long story, old home, items up against "outside walls", had no idea what was breeding there). Had multiple companies estimates for "mold remediation" and then Marco gave his - much more detailed than others and fair pricing. He knows his business and explains it clearly and that's why we chose One Call. His extensive knowledge and calm and clear explanations far exceeded any of the other companies that gave estimates. He understands you don't know this, you've never faced it before, so he helps you. He's hand's on reassuring and his crew did a FANTASTIC job. So much so, we also had One Call do the rebuild - drywall, insulation, and painting. Again, they did a FANTASTIC job. We highly recommend them for anyone having serious mold issues. We started smelling what we thought was mold in our house. I called at least 10 other companies that did mold inspections/air quality tests. One Call Services was the most reasonable, by far. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. Jaime and his partner (can't remember his name) arrived within the specified window. (I received text messages letting me know it was scheduled and that they were on their way.) They were very professional and explained the whole process to me before starting. While they did the air quality test, Jaime did a complementary moisture inspection in the walls and ceiling with his thermal camera. Jaime explained the next steps before leaving and when we could expect to receive the lab results of the air quality test. The lab results came back two days after the inspection. Totally recommend Marco. We had water leak in our crawl space. We weren't sure how to get the water out before fixing the pipe. Three different restorations companies gave us big quote saying that there is lot of water in our crawl space. We were scared but later in the evening we were told not to do anything as the water is fresh water and mud absorbs the water, just like heavy rain, no damage done to the basement, but we wanted to be on the save side. That's where Marco stepped in. He helped us understand that concept and added absorbent to our crawl space along with antimicrobial just minimum required instead of all the extra stuff other restoration companies told us.
